Tip for if anyone gets a “bad visitor”(8:49): put your switch to sleep. It will kick them off and it’ll restart your island back to before they came by. Do not tolerate assholes just because “it’s a game”. If they do not give you common courtesy you do not owe them anything.

The procrastinator: Is always late to sell their turnips, can't seem to make any meaningful progress in the story, and are thus left behind to grovel with their two villagers, no resident services, and that one section of the new area that they just haven't got to cleaning up just yet. But they'll do it eventually, they promise.

Zoey Fen Occasionally they mention things like “have furniture that are the same color” or “decorate the walls more” they don’t mention anything if you are advancing rank though.
I’d say I’m a completionist, but all I want is the full museum (and perhaps eventually all achieves) no tt, but travelling between hemispheres is a godsend

Technically traveling to the other hemisphere is a form of time travel because they're in a different time zone. But who's being technical here?

10:39 you probably didn't know this, but you can't wear out the letter on the A button because the letter is actually white plastic that's been extruded all the way through the button
depends on the switch, on my switch the letter doesn't have any white part and is just engraved into the plastic. So by overuse, I could technically have the letter disappear.

I'm probably "The Fisherman"
Literally all of my gameplay is fish, fish and fish. I love fishing as it's really calming, I save sharks and sell fish I already have. I'll go around my island always to find new fish and sharks, and if it's sea bass, I shrug it off and sell it. I go through about 7 fishing rods a day, and once I'm done, I log off. I have a fishing problem. I've caught about 5k fish.
Calming? It’s the worst type of anxiety for me!
it's nice to see someone who enjoys fishin. personally, that's my least favorite activity, bit other than that, it is actually funny when you say to give it time

The Money One: The one guy who always catches any thing they see, and sell it.
The Impatient: The one that saw so many 5- star islands on Facebook that they start picking up weeds right after they know how to pick up things!
The Unlucky: The one guy who always get bad neighbours, bad ratings and even bees everywhere.
The Too Late: The one that buys ALOT of turnips and forgets to sell them at a high cost or the turnips just rot.
The No Space: The guy who buys every furniture and realizes their house is already full. (SuCks tO bE yoU)
The Crafter: Always on a hunt to go into villagers houses, always checking up on Nook Stop and always on the beach searching for bottles.
The Make Perfect: Always following things on Facebook/ Instagram, sees a new cool post and deletes all their progress.
Myth Tryout: The guy who always watch myths and tries them, not realizing they are fake.
Emotes Hunt: ALWAYS GOES ON ANIMAL CROSSING JUST TO SEE WHICH NEIGHBOUR IS GIVING THEM AN EMOTE AND SAVE AND END IF NO ONE GIVES THEM (it might be me .-.)
The “Just Do It For Bells” One: They will post “HEy I mAde cOol mErch itS 10,000 bElls eAch” and embarrassing themselves but they got money.

Absolutely
You forgot another group of players that I have encountered: the legit hackers. They use outside software to create items that aren't currently suppose to be in game, and they then sometimes sell/give these things away to other people on the internet. Fortunately, they are quite rare, so it is quite unlikely that you will find one (I found one at a swap meet, and the hacked item was named with Japanese syllables, a curious thing for playing in English, so do keep an eye out for this as a red flag for any hacked items you find.)

@@Morning_Starr It probably can't corrupt your game file or anything like that, but you just have to know that you got bamboozled and have hacked items now... Not a very satisfying way to win the game, but I guess Animal Crossing isn't about winning anyways.

@@fortunesgaming8583 I was just like you once. Then, I thought I would make a little mini island in the water, but that needs a wider river. I started rounding out some of the water edges to be a little nicer. I built a new flea market that 'needed' to be thid perfect large rectangle, but in order to do that I would have to cut through a river. Thus, I gave up and just moved the river. All I am saying is that you should be proud of your perseverance to keep that one part of the island natural.
My paths aren’t perfect... yet...
This was interesting, and so much fun to hear the voice variety. Bringing Bob back would be fun, I love the tone of this.

Alright there’s a category missing. The ‘Picture Person’. I’m a picture person, picture people go to Harv’s islands to dress up their characters, make party’s and rooms, and start dancing or role playing with your villagers. (They also get posters of their favorite villagers) That’s what I do everyday when I’m done with chores and such 😌❤️

My whole family is on my island(actually my sister's island, I'm also a guest) and we've somehow made it work even though everyone keeps doing stupid things. The corruptor. This player has looked deep through the cracks of the games wholesomeness in an attempt to completely destroy all cuteness. They likely have created such rooms as a dungeon, a meth lab, a morgue, a witchcraft room, and there is blood. EVERYWHERE. They likely have Stitches and Pietro on their island, and their favorite piece of furniture is the iron bars.
“The island provides” I got chills.
The photographer: They're expanding their catalog for one purpose... sets for fun pictures at Photopia, Harv's island. Might have a heavy collection of amiibo cards to invite villagers for photos. May also make use of the design app.

@Andrew Langhart yeah. I didn’t even have a switch until Christmas. Im just glad I got the game before it stopped being relevant. Maybe soon I’ll be able to get a job so I can use multiplayer and actually find some friends who play the game.
I'd probably add another type: The Role player. They still try to be like the utopian, but have a special connection with each of their villagers and shed actual tears when one moves. They go into the Able Sister's shop just to see if a villager is in there looking at an item so they can buy it for them. They refuse to change any of the og catchphrases and couldn't care less about collecting Raymond or Maple. The first 10 villagers they have are their squad and they've been through everything together

The Utopian is SO me! My friends all don’t understand how I spend so many hours trying to make my island look like a city but they just don’t understand the amount of SATISFACTION I get when I log on and see my hard work being paid off. Maybe it’s just me but I just feel so proud of my island when looking at it and that’s what keeps me going :3

I was playing and went to an online island to buy items from Nook's Cranny and Able Sisters. When I first joined I asked everyone that was on the island if they needed fruit because I brought them from my island. Their were two people in the front accepting tips (I gave them 10k). I was buying from the stores and asking people if they wanted some fruit, but I could see one of the people at the front chatting, "Please leave [MyCharacterName] or I will report" and the other ran up to me, used the angry reaction, and said I stole their fruit. They explained that they went to their tree garden, and all the fruit was gone. They ACCUSED me of stealing their fruit and demanded me to return it and leave their island. I just left because I didn't want anymore trouble, I have a feeling they reported me. It was MY fruit, though! I wasn't gonna give it back! It might've seemed suspicious that I was selling fruit to people, but how could they accuse me if they have no proof?! Then again, did someone really steal their fruit, or were they just looking for trouble?
Chomp...(Something similar happened to me. It was for cut down trees though, they assumed I cut them down because I was the only other person left on the island. Their were other people though and they probably cut the trees down, I just won't accuse them and say they did it when I have NO PROOF!!
Though, I like to ask, did you happen to check to see if the fruit was truly gone? Just outta curiosity if you had a second to do so. 'Cause sometimes people will lie in order to get more resources so that they can make more bells.

That was me untill about a month ago! Except i couldn't even afford new leaf so played city folk and the original one on the game cube.... So much happier with new horizons now!

@@ballsplayer89 In a lot of ways they are better then new horizons but in some ways i prefer new horizons. I especially love those two since i grew up on them. But i have hopes that new horizons can still be fixed with updates.... Probably...

Pfft, my sister and I have a 5-star island, and there's hardly a speck of symmetry to be found. There's this one stretch of road that curves a lot and has a pink custom design laid on top, and I have nicknamed it Intestine Road for its likeness to said organ
Not necessarily. Your island doesn’t have to look remotely nice to get a 5 star island if you know how to work the points system. I was annoyed that no matter what I did I couldn’t break the 4 star rank until I found out that if you have enough mannequins it can improve your island score. I now have a small corner of my island with like, 15 mannequins placed to get that 5 star island because I wanted a golden watering can and lilies of the valley (The funny thing is I learned the mannequin thing on a completely unrelated video that showed you how to manipulate the rocks on your island to spawn in certain areas. People in the comments were talking about how the meticulously placed mannequins gave them 5 star islands)

I'm the hoarder, mixed with the utopian. Also, if there's a bad villager on your island, you can just turn off your switch and everything resets. It also resets your progress, but at least you don't lose all your stolen stuff. You don't want someone to break your rocks, when you spent an eternity on placing them exactly, where you wanted them to be.

I'm some kind of weird hybrid between the bellionaire (I collect bells, but mostly from selling bugs and fish to Flick and CJ as opposed to turnips, and I don't have a fully upgraded house because I'm lazy) and the hoarder (I have crafting supplies for days but don't fill up my house with furniture).
