For everyone attempting to correct The Leaderboard on fact 8, you're all wrong. Yes, they used a picture of Katie, but he says Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn is correct, because these are two different people. Originally, if you had been traveling frequently, Katie would appear in town and tell you she lost her mother, so you must bring her to another town to find Kaitlyn. In New Leaf, traveling frequently will have Katie appear in your town, but this time she tells you she's in fact not lost, she's all grown up *tear*, and travels for a living. Then she'll ask you to take her to another town to visit, etc., the cycle repeats. Please be aware of this instead of saying they are wrong, because they're not. It just makes you look bad.

I actually started with Animal Crossing only very recently (I'm younger than many members of the current community, so I discovered AC much later than lots of people did), and I have to say (I'm not too into video games) that it's probably one of the best games that I've ever played. I'm playing City Folk because I don't have any of the DS models, and it's aged well. The graphics are still decent, especially for a game made in 2009, and I was nothing short of impressed when I started playing. Sorry if I sound like an inexperienced kid or something, that's propbably because I am. ^u^

Hate 2 break it to you but, their official names are "Squid Sisters", thus making him pronounce it Squid Sisters. Cece is convinced she is Callie, so she prompted Viche to cosplay Marie. And just a side note, Cece is my favorite villager. If you want graphics then get New Leaf. Otherwise, I would recommend getting Wild World. Sadly, the WiFi got shut down so the internet capabilities are shut down, but there are videos and hacks to get the WiFi to work. You may want to try WiiMMFi. It does not require hacks but it does require an unsecured or WEP WiFi connection.

Hate 2 break it to you but, their official names are "Squid Sisters", thus making him pronounce it Squid Sisters. Not only that but, Callie and Marie are cousins *IN THE SPLATOON CANON ONLY.* In the ACNL canon, they're actual sisters. Cece and Viche are not actually the Squid Sisters. Cece is convinced she is Callie, so she prompted Viche to cosplay Marie. And just a side note, Cece is my favorite villager. Not only is she based off of my preferred Squid Sister, but her name is also my nickname and the name I choose everytime I start a new game. And her bday is 3 days after mine. (Because May 28th is the day Splatoon 1 came out in Japan.)

I'm considering buying this game, I haven't played any of the previous games, so any feedback or opinions would be well received :D
It is a good game, tons of stuff to do in game. Just a heads up the first week is pretty boring but it picks up after that so don't be discouraged
If you want graphics then get New Leaf. Otherwise, I would recommend getting Wild World. Sadly, the WiFi got shut down so the internet capabilities are shut down, but there are videos and hacks to get the WiFi to work. You may want to try WiiMMFi. It does not require hacks but it does require an unsecured or WEP WiFi connection.
If you have a switch ACNH is the way to go. The first few days are boring but if you do things quick it shouldn't take too long.
Katie DOES actually appear in New Leaf. You'll find her around town sometimes and she'll ask you to bring to a different town

I bought New Leaf when it came out. I’ve spent over 500 hours playing it and there’s still things you can unlock I never even knew of, 7 years later. It’s really an underrated amazing game with so so much replay value.
On city folk, redd sold a “Famous Painting” at his shop which I bought, went straight to the museum to check, and it was real, and I was just shocked
