Yeah, that was JP's doing. Ville took over vocals. JP moved on and is producing work elsewhere with his own new band. Meanwhile, Ville's started up a new group too.
If I remember right Ville isn't trying to make only one genre music, he does albums entirely by his feeling, and what sounds good to him at that moment. Or something like this :) So we can be expecting almost anything from the next album :D It might the heviest of Poisonblack's albums', or it might be the "lightest", you never know when there's Ville :D

I don`t mind listening to this or previous stuff. Bands and artists need variety. And what they always have is a fresh sound. None of their songs sound generic to me. They do follow a certain style,but the sound is fresh,always. And he sounds so cool tbh

Wow. I'm not bashing the band but, I was really disappointed by the genre change. Love infernal is an awesome song and this just sounds like your everyday, run of the mill, radio ready hard rock. Oh well!
JP's voice is better suited for that style than Ville's tbh, so I wasn't surprised that they moved in another direction. It's not bad, just "different". Escapextacy is amazing though, as you said.... 11 years and hundreds of listens later and I'm still as much in love with it as the first time I heard it. It's a top 5 of all time album for me, no doubt.
escapexstacey remains one of my fav albums of all time (cheesy) i love sentenced too but this album seems pretty fresh ,didnt like the whole american heavy thing they were pulling in the last video
I agree with Chris York. They're not the exact same as they were in Escapextacy but that doesn't make what they're doing now bad. It's a genre jump, still good music though.

I'm pretty much like you. Into metal almost exclusively but Sentenced and Poisonblack are always something I come back to.

Pisonblack es una excelente banda. Aunque en ocasiones su música quisiera sonar como la de Metallica. En lo personal, me gusta más Poisonblack.
