I'm an old-school 80's hard rocker who's played guitar in many cover bands throughout the years, and I'm now about to put together my midlife crisis band. Up until yesterday I had never heard of Poisonblack. I think it's safe to say, once I get this band up running, this song is ABSOLUTELY going on our set list. This is the sort badass music I just love!

This video was brilliant. The folks are both growing older, neither of them are in their youth anymore, and they’re not happy. The man has become a miserable alcoholic and completely let himself go, pushing his wife away in his growing misery, until one day he snaps and destroys the one beautiful thing she still clearly loves; her flower box. His only friend in the world turns out to have been fucking his wife behind his back, but at the end of the day, it was his own damn fault for being a miserable bastard and losing himself in a bottle. Ville is very eloquent at showing us bad aspects of humanity and sympathizing with people who are out of excuses and lost in misery, because it can happen to any of us.

Ville is a good vocalist and amazing guitar player! Their two first albums are very good and the best albums but they have good songs on also later albums.
JP is singing in Finnish atm. Band called Harmaja. You can find it youtube also, but I totally agree you with this one. JP should be singing in this band.
Completely agree, JP's voice was amazing and that made Escapexstacy awesome and for me it is the best album i have ever heard. Everything that followed didn't even come close to it.
I don't understand some of the comments here, have a listen to the whole Album. Poisonblack's music is nothing like Metallica. Perhaps the closest comparison is the singers voice but that's all.

You do realize Ville's still got the hair right? Watch the album teasers, it's still there, just in a weird, interesting way. I think the track rocks, it's got a catchy chorus but still retains the heaviness and energy that the band's always possessed for the most part. I think this more or less picks up where Drive left off.
Exactly. You are right about everything(really). That still doesn't change what I'm saying. The sound is similar. They are trying to take the band more and more back to what it was like with sentenced on every album. Saying that They don't sound anything like sentenced is ignorant. They might not be nearly as good, but that's not what I was saying. I'm still liking the direction they are taking.
