11:15 I've seen shops working on $200,000 Lamborghinis and not take the care you do with worrying if the chains will scratch. Sarah, you are a treasure.
Fun fact Sarah, there’s a great camera tripod company called “3 Legged Thing” and one of their tripods IS called Dave. They name all their products after their employees. Their CEO also runs around in a chicken suit on their ads and videos. Totally your kinda humor. They make amazing tripods.
You are a mixture of Sandra Bullock and Cher. BEAUTIFUL. Love your videos.
8:15 " I forgot to hit record...Oops"
Cracked me up.
One of your many charms.
Keeps me coming back, to see what's next.
Love this older video series! Of course because it was your Grandmother truck. 🛻 But this truck will be great for you for years to come.
I keep watching your videos because they are informative for general mechanical techniques, but ALSO because of your quirky personality. And you sprinkle your videos with those cute little icons and sound effects. Love those!
There is a little 9yo girl living in Vietnam who won't go to sleep without listening to your dulcet tones....I haven't had to explain any innuendos yet, will cross that bridge.......thanks Sarah we think you're fab!
This is going to be the cleanest old Ranger in the South West USA!!! Coming along great, wonderful video Sarah-n- Tuned!!!😃
Ford might buy it back, they probably didn't save any Rangers!😆
The world…. None nicer! Thanks for sharing Sarah!!!
... and authentic hand made...
@@tgvettes It’s not for sale.
@@SarahnTuned I didn't think so, my comment was just that I wouldn't be surprised if Ford would be interested in it!
Dave is the best camera assistant.
Fav thing in the world, sit down and eat dinner when a new Sarah video drops!
I love that, for all practical intents and purposes, you're going to be driving a brand new '94 Ranger in 2022. Amazing work!
Wouldn't it be great if we all had that chance? I'd buy another (new!) in a heartbeat!
You’re such an impressive young lady let alone such a competent wrench. I think your Gram’s Ranger resto is the most interesting project yet due to your intention of keeping it as close to factory as possible. Great stuff, Sarah!
You are an awesome chick, your sense of humour is awesome and you can make something that could be boring, interesting and funny. As a mechanic myself, I am totally blown away with knowledge and your perfection. Everything in your shop is so clean as well and I don't know how you stay so clean and presentable. I take my hat off, I would bow but I may not be able to straighten up again.
IDEA!!!!!
Have those headers double ceramic coated, and then heat shrink-wrap them. Keep under-hood temps as low as possible. Really important.
Pipe insulation on the chains!!! You're a flipping genius.
Phils DeBoogie,1929 Tiddlywinks Champion,Lower Moldavia.
Great job on the truck.
Sarah, I admire your work, care, effort and fun personality.
Greetings from Mexico !
Love the story behind this incredible build/restoration. Grandma definitely had a funky/great sense of style picking the color. This will be without a doubt the nicest 1990's Ford Ranger in the world when Sarah is done with it.
This restoration job is the best most interesting build and project you have ever done.
It’s started out a shitty day but thanks to you I’m all smile now. Thank you young lady 😉
You are an amazing woman and I cannot believe the quality of things that you do and your ability and your weird quirky funky funny ass things that you say. Your brain is brilliant and amusing. I love your channel. The project is looking better and better and I’m highly impressed.
Looks fantastic! On the headers, the flange is usually slotted. Put the bottom bolts into the head, slide header /lower it over boots and then install upper bolts.
Hi Sarah, I love your build of the Ford Ranger, I used to have a 1996 Ford ranger, and I love that truck. I love your attention to detail. I also love watching you build the truck, you are so good looking. Keep it up, ha ha.
Fire! Loved the humor, vibe and content. Always look forward to your videos. Thanks Sarah!
Seconded! Motion carried!
So happy for the bolt on headers. Just those little touches will not only make the resto a bit on the mod side. They don't detract from the ultimate goal. Sweet
Always great, funny and educational for anybody that fixes cars. I liked your last video when you talked about the labor cost for a frame off restoration project….
As a Ranger owner (2004) I've been finding the tear down and build up of the motor really interesting. I now have a much better understanding of my motor. Your presentation style is really enjoyable, keep up the great work!
Really enjoying your videos and your builds. Love your sense of humor. Thanks for the education and the entertainment!
Amazing work Sarah! You are the definition of meticulous! And weird in a beautiful hilarious way!!!
U rock Girl!
I swear you must be a genius. What a great job on a worthy project. Keep up the great work and putting out these wonderful videos.
I just came across your show and, well, kind of at a loss for words.
GREAT CHANNEL!!!
Subscribed!
Fred is awesome. Subbed to the U-Wrench channel, and learned more about automotive paint in two episodes, than I learned over the rest of my life. 👍️
Amazing work. The Ranger is spotless.
Your innuendoes are beautifully priceless 😉
You do really quality work and show care for your vehicles. A true car lover !
Having someone who is confident in their abilities working on a mechanically simple build is just kind of holistically rewarding to watch and probably build as well. It looks awesome now it's coming together. It'll be exactly what you'd hoped for at the start of the project and more. Great to watch.
This Ranger is looking awesome!👍
I have a 97 ranger that I am doing this to. Love this series, inspiring me to get back to work on it.
Let me know if you need any parts, I’ll be scraping the parts truck in the next month or two!
An amazing amount of work performed in this video plus all the work you put into recording and editing. It’s no wonder you work 7-12s. And you can certainly tell how much you get energized and joyous working on Gram’s Ranger. Thank you! 👍👍👍
You are the "Bob Vila" of car restorations.
And the Norm Abrams of haadware
Thanks Sarah for the great videos. I like how the Ranger is getting a few choice upgrades like the headers and shocks. Your attention to detail is simply amazing.
Great episode. Thanks for showing freeze plugs and motor mounts.
I really like the color of the trim pieces. They came out great.
It’s the same color they were before! Haha
@@SarahnTuned Oh, I know. I still like them :)
Hi Sarah, The Ranger is looking dope, Love your videos, haven't missed one yet. BTW, Your makeup and hair look awesome. Keep doing what you do, We all love you.
Haven’t bothered you lately, but I’ve watched every video in the last three years. You’re doing great! Hope you are well.
Seriously. Sarah's automotive knowledge absolutely astounds me.
Labas rytas! Gražuolė miela tave matyti! Puikus darbas malonu matyti! Mano nuomone toks automobilis turėtų kainuoti brangiau už naują. Ačiu gražuolė kad pasidalinote! 🤗❤️👩🔧👨🔧😉👍👍👍
It never stops to amaze how mechanics with aviation background pay such great attention to detail. Well done Sarah.
Pool Noodles are going to sell out anywhere there's a car club. That technique is just a little bit of genius inspiration.
Love everything you do, you make everything intresting , Where's the pigeons?? Love your humor! Please keep it up!!!!
Absolutely beautiful yet totally unnecessary to do all of that work to an old Ranger...exactly how I do things...awesome job Sarah...PERFECT !!!
Great work, and attention to detail again. Enjoying watching this coming together. Maybe a Land Rover Defender Next🤣
I've watched too many project videos that sputter out, it's very reassuring to know that this is gonna get done and done right, the whole reason I found this channel as I'm a ranger owner myself.
I love your humor “ I closed my eyes, I always close my eyes before I blow” hahaha love the truck and if your ever my way I have a boat and trailer .
The attention to detail you're putting into this restoration is remarkable. You should show it when it's finished. Seriously, because it's looking like it'll be show-quality.
I have very much enjoyed watching your videos on the Toyota MR2 and Ford Ranger.
Fire? That's a new term? Love your videos, you do a great job and are very odd person and I love that about you.
Going to be beautiful when you are done!
You have the most fun channel ever. Useful information, Easy on the Eyes, and a great sense of Humor. Thank you. 😊
This is why I originally subscribed to your channel I love watching you work on cars and your innuendo is spot-on thanks for making my day and I also close my eyes when I blow👍😎🇨🇦
It’s so stimulating to see how great of a job you did with that motor! Awesome video again! 👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😀
Wow, beautiful work. A labor of love.
Clean is the only way to go. Get it Sarah. For my pleasure. Do an s10 next
I love that you’re keeping it stock!
I never seen anybody Do detailing Like you do Good job and also you're pretty
Great video 📹 as usual Sarah love your passion and humor and injectors, headers so cool yeah got it!
I think this is the only Concourse level rebuild I've ever seen of an old-ish truck. It's totally weird and awesome, which is on brand for Sarah. I love it.
Wow Sarah, you're knocking on the door of half a million subs! Well deserved!! Seems like just yesterday your content was all Mr Dos, and you and Sarah (Part Deaux) were headed up to SLC to pick up TaterTot and document your adventurous road trip home. Do you still use that ingenious swamp cooler in your tiny garage at home? Do folks still send you license plates and tools? Do you still head out to the desert to visit your old dilapidated car review site? Still a cat woman?
Now the TT is being enjoyed by one your lucky subs, and the MR2 is the nicest one you could find in the States. That's a long journey from Air Force aircraft and AGE mechanic, it's been a real joy being privileged to see a sneak peek into that journey - many thanks for that. Your perseverance, enthusiasm, expertise, humor, music preference, and determination are all inspirational, as is your quest to do and be the best version of yourself. If I were in TUS, I'd buy you an adult beverage and raise a glass to your continued success!! 🥂
congrats Sarah.. it is a remarkable merit to take out an engine, fit it in an engine stand, rework it all, and put it back with the cherry picker ... without any help
Great safety tip to close ones eyes when one blows...👍😊
Nice to learn about CS Performance! May use them for my 1973 Volvo 164E restoration. Thanks for the informative video.
Yeah those gold bronze color freeze plugs do look awesome
The world's only Concours de Elegance For Ranger restoration.
Although I'm soooo far from being a Car Guy, gotta Love Sarah -n- Tuned. Makes the day to watch you share your incredible knowledge of Automobile Mechanics. Your Gram must be smiling Down On YOU for sure. Keep On Keeping On!! Always lookling forward to seeing Sarah strut (excuse the Pun), her royal Stuff. "Everyday is Leg Day".
Your grandma would be so proud of all the detail work you have done.
Hi Dave! Nice to meet you.
Oh. My. Days. That truck is looking incredible. That's tremendous work, Sarah.
Excellent Sarah, the truck is coming along very well glad you replaced the frost plugs. Keeping up with the humour is great.
This content is so damn entertaining, cheers from Australia!
Hot tip: when removing engine from the engine stand, hoist the engine and stand up in the air, then slide the yellow bit off the black bit. No surprises then
The chromed headers look great.
Engine is looking mint👌. Yup putting engines in on your own and trying to steady that and operate the crane can be tricky, sometimes need to be stretch Armstrong.😁
These videos are a true testament of how entertaining you are. Because the idea of watching a 94 shitbox restoration is about as fun as watching paint dry yet you've got a ton of folks still supporting you.
Thank you for being brilliant.
Great video beautiful little truck and you crack me up! I love your videos
That Ranger is lookin' rad
Thanks!
what a beast the truck is happy now
Absolutely awesome job on this restoration Sarah. Your actually building a ranger from the ground up and doing a great job of it.
Your videos always make me very happy.
Simply a joy to behold.
Love your videos for all the reasons expressed below. This is my most favorite channel on RUclips and hopefully you won't stop your fantastic humor. Couldn't believe you installed that engine alone. I especially appreciated the Hello Kitty top!
That is going to be a very nice Ranger Sarah and I love your attention to detail. Like you, I like to "sweat the small stuff," the stuff you'll never see. I had to replace the front floor pans before painting the interior of my "53 Chevy pickup and when it was finished my brother went on and on about how great the floor looked, never mentioning how the rest of it looked. Now it's covered with a mat.
Wow so smokin hot! And I love it when your AC is working so well!
Love this!! Makes me miss my Bronco II!
I love your channel Sarah. Not just for the content, you can find similar content lots of places, but also because of your quirkiness and how fun you make it, and the he said/she said, and for the "link" at the beginning of the video. All very entertaining 🙂
another AWESOME video. do not feel bad about not filming the wiring harness rebuild. a lot of us who follow you saw you rebuild the MR2 harness and we know how your OCD kicked in and what a great job you did with that!
I use to hang engines from trees with a come along. Works great
I am so happy to finally meet Dave! ;) 09:57
Headers? I can stick headers on my truck? I'm SO glad you are doing this resto. You are feeding me so much info on my 94.
Yep, just at a minimum use a high flow cat to keep the rasp down.
@@SarahnTuned Thanks.
So many double-entendres, so little time...😂 Thanks again for allowing us to join you on your quest to get Gram's truck dialed! Those headers look bitchin'! We all need to petition Pebble Beach to have a Small Truck Class.,✌️❤️🙂🇨🇦
Excellent progress! Looking great. Reminds me of when I rebuilt a 1959 Pontiac Bonnivelle that had been in a minor accident right after high school. I had no experience with cars at the time, but took on the project and restored the engine, 4 barrel carb, and body work. I always admire your care, patience and humor.
I haven't seen a better technician than you ever. Wish I had a go to person that would do your kind of work.
