☀Thank you so much for watching our day in Tokyo on a budget! Are you planning to visit Japan yourself? Check out our Japan (budget) travel guide! www.letsmeetabroad.com/shop/
I'm obsessed with how beautiful your videos are recorded and edited. So pleasing to the eye, and you guys are lovely. Thank you so much for the tips! I hope I can use them on my trip to Japan ♥
Great video my friend! Makes me want to go to Japan!! I noticed you said you're both vegetarian, but you're not vegetarian if you eat fish! 😅 Keep up the amazing work!👏
would you consider adding thrifting stores in japan for budget travelers? I've seen plenty of thrift shops in japan that sells alot of brand new preloved items from pokemon to cute outfits for much cheaper price but not many talked about them unless you're a JP vlogger or youtuber
Yes, that is true, we are not anime experts, so can't give our expert opinion, but according to our experience, whatever you buy in Japan is top quality
Hello! Loved the video, did not know about the Tokyo Goverment Building! When you refer to $10 a day, which currency is this in please ? I am from NZ so the currency exchange can be pricy!
Thank you! ☺️ haha yes currency is always a bit complicated, also for us. We pay normally in euros. But we did American dollars because that’s what most people use! So that’s around 16 NZ dollar? Not a lot, right? Tokyo is really not that expensive if you do some research 😄
When you were sitting down and saying “good sushi, cheap stuff is nice” I was sure that would be a transition to a Honey sponsorship. I think RUclipsrs like Adam Ragusea has done things to my head lol
I have to laugh for the most part when people do a budget video on Tokyo and then spend over $$50.00 US per night on a hotel [ that is not a budget video at ALL ) Excellent all around
Guys, are you vegetarian or pescatarian? I am asking because I am planning a trip to Japan and need to find vegetarian places to eat. You mention in the video you are vegetarian but you you seem to eat quite some fish (sushi) in your Japan Videos =)
Pescatarian, since Japan 😜 We didn't eat fish and meat for years, but in Japan we ate fish again and we kept doing it.. It is totally possible to just eat vegetarian in Japan, but it would be a lot of the same!
Japan is the country known for its cuisine. It's a terrible shame to go there and have all of your meals at convenience stores. I suggest switching things up by going to family restaurant chains. That's a Japan experience in itself. Have 1 meal a day at a restaurant. Ramen can be cheap. Budget $20 per day
This was just one day on our 3 week Japan trip. We visited enough delicious restaurants 😍 but yes, we can’t afford to eat out every meal every day. And I think with us, many people who visit Japan can’t afford this. So yeah I want to tell them all it’s fine to eat from the convenience store, because it’s delicious!! 😍
Ah, you're vegetarians. No wonder your sushi meal was inexpensive. If y'all ordered the tuna nigiri or salmon, and unagi, you're bill would triple. You're sushi was probably the cucumber roll, the daikon roll, sweet egg, and maybe some avocado roll, am I right?
We actually ate fish! I think we eat vegetarian 99% of the time, but Japan was the first country we ate fish. They don’t have many vegetarian sushi options unfortunately..

Can't wait to visit tokyo tokyo 😂
Thank you!! Let’s hope so. Japan is amazing by itself. No need to spent money on tours or anything!
Loved the video! We have planned a trip to Japan for August so this is super helpful. Thank you 😊
Thank you!! 😁 Enjoy your trip! It’s amazing
$10 a day? That is next level guys! Def will check out your japan guide!!
Thank you!! Yes you really don’t have to spend much to enjoy Japan to the fullest!!
The train tickets definitely pushed them a few bucks over that limit even if they just spent that much on food.
Excellent Video !!! Keep It Up ✅
Thank you! 😊😊
The pancake sandwich with maple syrup was the best when I was there!
Yes, it was amazing :P
Can't wait to visit that country. I hope its cold weather.
In winter it is 😁

Tenkazushi! 🍣 have fun! Japan is echt fantastisch. 😄
@@LetsMeetAbroad dankjewel! Zal ik zeker doen :)
Did y'all get to try Ramune? It's a carbonated drink that has a built-in marble inside the bottle. Very Japanese in quirkiness.
Nooo we did not 😱 I feel we missed out… we’ll come back haha

What was the name of the Sushi restaurant ?
What's the name of the sushi place?
I recommend to drink 100yen fresh coffee in conbeni.
Ok we will try that :)
It is not rude to point at an object. However, it is rude to point at a person. This is because treating a person like an object is disrespectful.
That makes sense, :) thanks for the clarification.
Yoogi park is defferent from Meiji Shrine.
Ah ok, thanks for the clarification :)

You can point at anything, buildings, animals, cars, except people!
I have to laugh for the most part when people do a budget video on Tokyo and then spend over $$50.00 US per night on a hotel [ that is not a budget video at ALL ) Excellent all around
Haha $50 for a hotel for 2 people, that sounds like a bargain 😃

Thank you very much :)

Very true. That’s is why we love Japan 🇯🇵
