Great question! You are far ahead of the business-owner mindset game than many others. Depends on your state/province/local laws. You most likely need to employ a "Broker of Record" or "Managing Broker" to have your own company and employ agents. So you personally do not need the license, but someone in your company will probably need one. Where are you located?
Absolutely! Start with a positive mental attitude. Then define your annual income goal and work backwards from there. take my course as it’s related to business planning and recession proof and you will be great. Of course the brokerage in a box courses is also going to get you going.
