Well hello. To the best of my knowledge, apart from Dave, none of the members of QED are still performing. What a shame. Word had it, at the time, that a lot of folks reckoned QED sounded a lot like U2, too much so, in fact. What a load of b******s!! There was nothing like them, at the time, or since. F*****g incredible. A songwriting tour de force. The band definitely deserved to go a lot further, and crack America, for instance. I would go as far as to say that Shane, Paul and Alan are, collectively, the reason why I'm still playing. Hats off, guys. Yes, it was an honour to know you, to jam with you, and to be around you. Thank you so much. I look back, sometimes, and figure that, if I sang then, the way I'm singing now......no, it just wasn't to be. Dave was/is the man, all the best to you, in all you do. The same goes for you guys. Closer to the heart......
How refreshing! This was right after Dave King left Fastway due to the disastrous sales of the 'Trick Or Treat' soundtrack. Around 1986-1987. But nothing happened with QED. What a shame. Great song.

Great vocalist but I long for him to return to the early Fastway album sound (the first 2), ala Far Far From Home
