Kia Ora whanau this is our latest action packed trip to the Three king’s islands, 55 kilometres (34 mi) northwest of Cape Reinga, New Zealand.
This footage is filmed across the 5 day period with nothing but bent rods, beer bottles and some keen anglers putting there body’s to the test. For everyone who has been up to this magical place you will relive the pain through this video and for the people who haven’t been this is what you could possibly be in for if you ever go up. Would like to thank the boys at Enchanted charters for looking after us.

When I saw the size of that yellowtail I knew it had to be New Zealand. I caught a couple of 35 pounder's 30 years ago in Loreto, Baja. 50 lb test and the rod was on the rail of the panga the tip down in the water.
Three kings islands is a special place. I managed to land an 18kg (~40lb) yellowtail a few months ago on a 3500 spin reel and 8lb braid. Nothing else fights like them here in NZ
By far the best fishing video I have ever seen....And all I do is watch fishing videos...When are you guys coming back and making more vids?
