I made this tonight the only differences is I didn't have any tomato sauce so I pureed a can of dice tomatoes & I don't buy Garlic salt so I just added a one tsp of garlic powder and a 1/2 tsp of salt. My mother has dementia and her eating has become very very finicky. Though she loves salt and put extra on hers she liked it and I was so happy.
I didn't add anything extra after cooking this recipe and it will be added to our list of recipes and I'm going to share it with my cousin I think her, my aunt, and her daughter will love it too. Thank you so much for sharing this with the rest of us.

My preggo self was craving a sloppy Joe even though I haven't had one in years. After watching other complicated videos, I found this one, and I'm so glad I did! This was a real hit with the family. My husband said, this one is better than all the other sloppy joe recipes I've done in the past, and I totally agree. I did toast brioche buns and topped with pickles and garlic french fries onions from Walmart and had baked sweet potato fries and a salad as sides.

I followed your recipe with some slight changes. Instead of bell peppers 🫑 I chopped up mushrooms 🍄 and instead of diced onions mixed into meat I caramelized the onion 🧅 as a topping. The flavor in the end was better than man-which and the recipe was simple and easy for someone who doesn’t cook. Definitely keeping this recipe and do it again. Thanks!

So I wasn’t raised cooking , so I get so nervous cooking, but your videos are amazing and so easy to follow . My boyfriend doesn’t usually like sloppy joes and I made this for him and he loved it. Thank you for sharing this recipe 💕

Also the testing before adding the brown sugar in was a good tip. I can't believe how it went with the flavors so well
