I'm with Stevie on this one, the Bunna for gifting and receiving. I've been really lucky this year with some great gifted whisky, Talisker 18, Mortlach 16, Cotswolds Founder's, Balblair 15, Glenallachie 15, Kilkerran 16 but my favourite has been the Bowmore 12 :) I am hoping for some equally great Christmas presents from my favourite people this year too but I do set a strict upper price of £100.

I have a couple hundred whiskies in my collection and my wife bought me a Kavalan Solist Oloroso Single Cask. I highly highly recommend Kavalan. If you guys get a chance. Do a Kavalan show. Cheers

Just checked and I can by Lagavulin 16 online for £60 equivalent here in Poland, so its now on order. I never drank until I was in my 20's and was offered a 'mug" of lagavulin 16, which I drank. Now love Lagavulin and also whisky, so it has a special place for me.

@@TheWhiskyBaron Just opened a Tomatin 18. Lovely dram and at ~85 eur an absolute steal. Abv is just right as well in that it doesn't scare away less experienced people with an alcohol burn and still offers depth of flavour for those that do like their whisky.

Surely Longrow and Port Charlotte are better, and cheaper than Lagavulin 16.
depends what you're after I suppose - Laga 16 is quite a unique style
