- Probably one of my darkest songs ever, Shadows is a collaboration with one of my favorite musicians in the fandom and someone I'm sure you all know. The song is about inner darkness, and feeling the scars of the battle that takes place in every mind. It's something of a sequel to Monster, as Discord accepts his evil nature and throws away his desire to use his great power for good. Alternatively, the song can be seen as a story of hopelessness and falling into the depths of one's own mind. It sets the premise for the album, From All Sides, and redemption is found in later tracks.

I don't know how he does it, but Glaze can make some of the darkest music around. I thought Rainbow Factory was horrifying, then I heard this... what a masterpiece. This combination of forces should feel free to happen again, I am in love with this darker side of brony music and I've been listening to dark and weird music for years.
You have no idea what dark music is then if you can't think of a darker person than Glaze
If you think Glaze is dark, boy oh boy you're gonna love Lucas King
probably the incredibly artificial vocals for one thing, nearly dehumanized in most cases.

For the record, I explained to you that I had changed the genre of the song from dubstep to rock, and it wasn't going to work the way the original collab was planned. Mostly because you hadn't done anything on it and I had to do it myself, hence the change into rock. I didn't just pack up and leave without telling you, I explained my reasoning.
I think this was the kind of attitude I've missed in Glaze's newer stuff. He'd really mastered the creep factor in his earlier stuff.

I know I am way too late for this. This was the first song of Aviators I have ever heard. I am not into the fandom anymore but that doesn't matter. This is such an amazing song, just like the others I've listened to.
Actually I have to thank you Avi, as this song inspired the protagonist of my book. Someone with a contaminated mind and the despair of how he looses his "humanity" little by little embracing the inner "monster" within.
I really have to thank you and at least mention you once I finally finish it :P

Actually sounds like a Prequel to Monster to me, Discord feeling himself pulled into Chaos but he then meets Celestia and she 'made him' into a Monster :)

Aviators and SlyphStorm have recently been competing for a top spot in my favorite brony musician ranking. Seems as if Aviators is beginning to slowly claw ahead. If they were to ever collab, I think the scale might just break...

Unsurprisingly impressive. I'm glad you went with the more insidious sort of creepy, it's perfect for the subject matter. Too many awesome parts in the song for me to mention them here easily, and I don't have the time nor the musical ability for a long analysis, so I'll have to limit myself to saying: great job, both of you!

Is it me or does this song remind anyone else of Dr. Stein (Soul Eater) and his descent into madness? It goes with him perfectly (I'm going to show my friend this song as he's a Soul Eater fan and likes the character). Overall great song (possibly my favorite Brony song).

This is Discorded Whooves song.
Actually, the fabled monster "Discord", who is real, the one who made the Doctor "Discorded" is the actual prompt of this song. It's basically how Celestia turned Discord into a bigger monster than he was, becoming this so called "Chaotic", but I just call it trolling.

I believe this is the first aviators song of dark caliber. I totally got what you meant at the beginning of the song. For me the ladder half was when the song got most of it's legs off the cructh of the usual format, and became much better.
