Is there anyway to help with the gathering technique when sewing layers together as with a gypsyskirt as that always annoys me. It looks so messy and I don't have an overlocker
If I am understanding what you men correctly I think I would turn the edge over a little and iron the crease, then turn again and iron the crease so your raw edge is tucked inside before attaching the layers together. Then you will sew over the edge . Does that make sense ? 🙂
