The actual snowplow build starts @ 30:55, sorry about the inconvenience, *PS:* big thanks to Vevor for sending me a mag-drill, it helped me out while working on the plow i will throw the discount code and link in the video description if your interested in getting one or checking it out. Other then that, have a great weekend.
Congratulations on hitting 45k subscribers. Certainly a great achievement, but so many are missing the value (education, entertainment and humour) that you bring to YT. Like so many of the your subscribers we feel you are a hidden gem.
All 45 of us. By the way. The steal that has the primer on there. Start cleaning that off. That is what happened to your blade. That stuff is a coating almost as hard as ceramic. On wet days the steal company has to spray that on there so they metal doesn’t harder too fast and rust right of the oven
Your channel is definitely a hidden gem. I'm sure most of AC's viewers would agree. Best part of the viewing experience is your subdued humor. Always entertaining. Cheers!
I have been watching AC for a long long time but ever since I found Andris, I prefer this channel over AC because I absolutely love the humor and fun commentary while AC barely talks anymore in his videos and nearly half of his videos are his dogs anyway. My first channel choice is here, Ants Pants.
Getting that many hydraulic hoses from somewhere like you did without the NEED for them is ABSOLUTELY something I would do! I would say it was a HUGE score! Never know when you might need a certain one!
The ingenious application of this man in a variety of situations makes him the European equivalent of his "beloved" Andrew C.Absolutely BRILLIANT. Thanks Ant.
Those hoses are a jackpot for sure, they are get hella expensive very quickly. And also you can get new ends put on them so you can turn long hoses in to shorter ones it's a win win !
Another good idea on snow plow cutting edge is use a thick piece of rubber. It doesn’t work as good on ice but snow it works great.. awesome work plow looks great!!
Nice work on the plow attachment! If you're looking for ideas weld some webbed steel to the top of it for steps into the skid steer so you don't slip. Possibly weld a couple steel d ring links or chain hooks on the corners of the bucket in case you slide into the ditch and need to pull it back out.
when using holesaws in thick metal you need to clear out the chips very often because the gullets of the teeth fill fast, alternatively you can drill a hole on the drill circle to make room for the chips to fall out, or just plasma cut it hehe
You may have seen some steel building rigid frames, with a reddish color. These rigid frames are covered in red oxide primer. This type of coating is an exterior and interior rust-preventative solvent-based metal primer for steel. Red oxide primer is a base-coat paint that is specifically for use on the surface of iron and steel as a top coat. However, red oxide primers are red for a reason. The red color naturally hides any signs of rust. This can make it harder to see and resolve any rust issues your building may be having.
Congratulations on the K45, you’ve deserved it. Mind you this video was above and beyond, you scared the living crap out of me, I thought you were in trouble when the bobcat fell through the pit boards!! Every video exceeds the last, you deliver tension, comedy and diy skills. Amazing never give up, you bring joy to so many people 👍
I enjoy all your videos and especially your wit and sense of humor. I know you’re a good family man, there is so much love 💕and your SUPERMOM 🌹is very proud of you, she’s so helpful and a sweetheart❤ GOD bless 🕊you all!!
About the steel shown at 1:15:09, the Number 355 could refer to steel type S355. Normal mild steel (at least in Germany) is called S235, the 235 referring to the minimum yield strength (Mindeststreckgrenze in german). Thats the point where the steel is deforming without going back into it's original form. S355 is hardened steel, harder to bend and work with, because you need more power to deform it. Maybe thats the reason why your drill press had to work that hard.
@@Altruistic-Viking I actually don't think it would be Hardox, I don't think Vevor sent him carbide bits. Looks more like the drill could drill a little bit, but the heat hardened the steel even more until the drill bit was not strong enough.
When you painted SCOOP orange it made me think of an advert - 'Barr's Irn Bru - made in Scotland from girders' 😂😂 Amazing work Ants, orange is definitely Scoop's colour ! The frame you built is solid and the addition of the pipe at ground level works brilliantly. As always you entertained with your mad ideas, silly nonsense and crazy Ants Pants humour, thank you. Best wishes to you and your family from Scotland 🏴 🌿🌿🌿
Man you deserve way more subscribers, I know you get inspiration from A.C. but he is making the big money and his channel is suffering from it, he's gotten complacent. Your stuff always entertaining and educational. Appreciate the videos.👍

The snowplow turned out great! And the hydraulic hoses great score! Now you can replace hoses and not have to buy them plus you never can tell you might build something that needs hydraulic lines. Man at the start of this video you could not get a break! Great video Bro! 😎👍🏻
Excellent Ants. Thank you for the new expression that I’ve added to my personal lexicon: ‘ total kabuki’. I am sure it will come in handy as, you know, life happens.😆
Glad to see you eventually got to plow on with the project despite all the hiccoughs at the beginning ,With global warming i think your heavy duty snow shifter might be overkill ! what do i know ? i live in a residential ares with people to do it for me , great video Andris ,, you at your best,,

Less speed and more pressure wil help you drilling holes. The bigger the diameter, the lower the speed. Using holesaws I really recommend Whürt instead of Bosch. Being a welldriller i use them every other day drilling through wellcasings. Get about 35 44mm holes with Würth compared to 5 with Bosch in 4.5mm casing.
You need a air driven needle scaler for knocking the flux off your welds with the stick welder much faster and easier. Love you’re videos even my wife sits down and watches you with me now 👍🏻 kind regards, Brad from Australia 🇦🇺 👍🏻
I was thinking, maybe the top center point pin could be replaced by a heavy trip spring, just in case you hit something you can't see... protect you and your machine. Great work, brother. enjoyed this production, too.

I couldn't even guess how much money is there in hydraulic hose and fittings, but I can tell you this, It's a lot of money sitting there. You are also right when you say that you will never use all of it. Maybe you can help someone in need some day. Now, to watch the build.👍👍👍
Ants Pants, I thought that u had falling down with the bobcat machine. Butt u had managed to get some wood under-it and got it out. great job putting the snowplow together. works good.
You should weld two brackets on each pin on the plow mount, cause now you will bend those pins, with two brackets pins will work on shearing, not on bending. About those bunch of hoses, talk wih vevor about hydraulic hose crimper, buy proper hose ends (not so expensive) and you will be able to make your own hoses from those you have, use one end with lenght you desire and just crimp another end.
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you Andris,ha ha funny, there are track's for your bobcat that fit over your wheels I have seen it somewhere maybe something for you with all the snow.

Those hydraulic hoses are worth thousands of dollars if you had to have them made. I'm not sure where or how you got these hoses but I sure wish I had a place I could score a deal like you got. I would go back with a big enough trailer or truck and get all the hoses. You could put the word out you've got these hoses and I'm sure they would sell or you could use them for trading stock for things you need.
