me and my partner were laughing about this and the only thing we could come up with was that they meant it like. "I'm not hitting on you" but like. i think that's implied? you're yelling 'i love you' not "f*** me!", for one thing, and you're in the middle of the crowd, if jb doesn't want to engage she's not gonna, it's not sexually aggressive by nature to yell "we love you". and it IS inherently homophobic to yell "no homo" as if loving someone is ....inherently sexual. if that was what they meant, they could have yelled "respectfully!" and it would've been 100% funnier, but better to just not say anything???
also ill never understand why ppl arent singing along to this song like i get wanting to take it in but i think i would be screaming the lyrics and crying simultaniously
who says no homo at a julien baker concert? go home-o. go home
Yeah, that was quiet unkind
