Great content; thank you! Going to Niseko for my first time in Jan/Feb of 2025.
    Also:
Sebby: (skiis without poles for 4 days. Buys new poles)
Sebby: (day 5. Doesn't make a single pole plant 🤣)

Just noticed that you ski without ski poles. Any reason?
When I ski without ski poles, my stance sucks and I stop leaning forward and my quads quickly dies. Especially on a steeper slopes.

I forgot my poles for the trip; ended up buying some later on though (Day 3, I think?).

    Great video. Very helpful!
Planning our trip for next year and review of slopes and runs are really helpful to understand what to expect. Worth to watch almost 3 hours 🤣

How was bringing your own skis vs. renting?

Worth bringing since last time they gave me rentals that were too short and refused to give me longer ones. Best example is renting a car vs driving your own. The logistics in Japan for shipping/storing skis to/from the airport is relatively affordable and easy.
