I stood at the front of the stage and being that he just got radio play with Shouldve Known Better, nobody knew him. He and his band BLEW US AWAY! I became a fan THAT Night. I met with him during show breaks and he invited me to any promo shows he was doing locally during this tour. Im still a fan ALL These decades later. Thanks for ALL the music!
To think this was just his first album, and now all these years later, I now own 16 of his albums. Well, not really albums… one cassette, CD’s and digital albums purchased on iTunes. Just love RM! ❤️

I love how Richard could rock out to his music back then!! Dancing & shaking all the parts that his Momma gave him!! All of these years later he is still singing, rocking & rolling on stage!! My favorite song from this album wasn’t even a hit. I’ve told him repeatedly over the years that Lonely Heart most definitely should’ve been a single. I just love that song.
I watched him in Eastern Ky back then. He had this exact same band. Should anyone think the sound has been overdubbed to any extent, trust me its not been. They WERE this damn good. One of the best live bands I've ever seen. And Richard was on that night. Absolutely Incredible
awesome concert from the legend richard marx what a voice, love this live spetember 25th 1987. he is a awesome talent i love his songs i always will. i want to cover one of his songs myself. always been a huge fan and he plays guitar well. man i am so blown away how good this is. i just love this guy. my god can he really sing or what.
