My dog and I had this relationship. She passed in early April, shattered my world, my mom's and everyone else who knew her and loved her. Everyone admired her spirit, her energy, she was quite the character. To those who say animals have no emotions, that is bs, I have had cats and dogs with much more emotion than half of the people I met in my lifetime.
Rotties are super-smart. I couldn’t have one myself, as I’m at the office for a long part of the day. But this one seems super-well looked after and trained.

I grew up in the 90s , Rots and Chows before Pits was cool and they was notorious for turning on owners (most owners aren’t good owners) but yea that was a thing. Pits too but again I believe an owner issue. Those aren’t guard dawgs they are active dawgs that have zero problem defending when the heat is on. A boxer is a guard dawg..high self control and disciplined. Active dawgs go as the owner goes and if the owner is lazy the dawg will take the lead. Guard dawgs want to be trained ..Shepherds, Collies, Boxers etc

i have 5 cats, our now 9 month old kitten and i are closely bonded. i can assure you, his communication is less love and more appetite xD he puts up with my shit for treats, a piece of chicken or whatever else im eating.. the dude wolfed down a mushroom the other day cause aparently, if were eating it, it must be good. let alone a piece of popcorn, a slice of apple. hes not happy with himself after n wont ask for another piece, but he lives by the motto 'try everything once'
(we make sure he doesnt get anything poisonous for cats, but if he wants to try a piece of lettuse, hes gotta figure it out himself)
