I've had rotties for almost 30 years. They are the best dog breed and most frustrating knuckleheaded dorks that you'll ever meet. Once you go rottie there is no other breed of dog. They completely love their family but they each pick a special person that their world orbits around. You don't choose the rottie, the rottie chooses you. My wife and I each picked a pup from a very good breeder, different litters. I picked a burly little male and she picked a feisty little runt female. Of course the female became my girl and the blockheaded dork became her boy. Both have been gone for close to 10 years and my late wife 11 months ago. Best dogs ever.

They absolutely are dangerous animals. That doesn't mean that they are always dangerous or blindly dangerous. I have always had rots. They are adorable cute loving funny animals. To people they know and like. They are also protective and territorial too. If not treated right and trained correctly they can even be dangerous to their owners. I definitely don't like the negative stigma they are given but to ignore that they can be dangerous is irresponsible.
In Germany it's been forbidden for a couple of years now. The dogs look great with their tailes. Cutting off the tail means pain for some time ( some say lifelong) and we take away an important tool to communicate. But of course it's more important that "we" like their look. Not!
No dog? I've had 8 rotties and had to get 2 of their tails docked because they whipped them that hard of surfaces when wagging they damaged them. If they had been left alone they would end up with spinal problems. There are dogs who definitely need their tails docked for health reasons. Don't pass judgement if you don't know rotties.
My rottie is the queen of puppy dog eyes, I had her at a puppy hotel for two nights . I Warned the ladies about the danger of her puppy dog eyes they laughed when I told them . When I picked her up they agreed she had a super power with her puppy dog eyes.😊😊

I love Rottweilers i had 2 boy and girl Zeus and storm they were my babies my life. They were so loving, loyal, protective and doseile best dogs I've ever had 💕 I had to give them up becaus I was moving and the private housing company i was going with didnt accept animals 💔😭 Aww the rotty and cat hugging is adorable 😍 mine hated cats storm got out my garden and chased one down the street did nothing but just sat on the poor cat at least she didn't really hurt it thank God!! 😅😂

My 2 girls were wonderful fun. Chewed nothing, chased nothing, stole nothing, didn't dig, jump, or misbehave... I did have to get a king sized bed. 2 rotties and one human.. not good odds for a restful night.

Our 3rd Rottie got very very ill 2 years ago. I miss them all but mostly my 3rd one. He was my very own baby boy. He left the hugest hole in my soul.
