33MP sensor.. I found the SmallRig V-Mount Battery plate was Arca-Swiss-like - a tad too small - and would not accept my Peak Design Capture plate. As a workaround, I mounted a SmallRig Arca-Swiss Quick Release Mount Plate Kit 2280 - which does fit the Peak Design plate properly - on top of the plate provided with the 4063 and secured it with a single screw. Works great. My SmallRig chest pad adds another stabilization point that, along with my Peak Design Slide Strap and a couple of Anchor Links attached to my Peak Design Capture Plate, provides a solid stabilized platform for handheld operation.
Great video, currently just running the a7iv without a rig but really considering it after this. Thought this would have a lot more views after watching so that was a surprise, keep it up, was a great watch!
I really appreciate it! Maybe it's the thumbnail. Lol. It's all good. This time next year, it'll probably be one of my most watched BUT it's also a pivot from the type of videos I normally make so we'll see what happens. But honestly, I love shooting handheld and the weight of the rig helps me stabilize but with natural camera shake. IMO, rigs are 60% for looks, especially if you don't have a cinema rig out the gate. BUT anything I do have I try to make sure there's a function behind it. But best believe...I can walk in any scenario with just my body and lens and I'm still gonna perform!
@@waltjennette Hey the thumbnail was what pulled me in. If your content stays like this you'll be getting a load of views just got to stay consistent :) Thats exactly how I feel with my gear, running a 35-150 2-2.8 tamron and that's heavy enough for stable footage :)
you have a alternative monitor in the description but you also mentioned toward the end of the video you are waiting on another monitor to be delivered? Would you share the name of that one too please?
I'm new to rigging out camera's and i could really use some help. I have the FX30, Sony ECM-B1M shotgun mic and the Sigma 18-50mm. I want to add a monitor and a battery and i have no clue how to do it. Any other recommended accesoires for my setup are also welcome. If its possible i would like to keeo it budget friendly
This was one of my favorite videos. You killing it bro
Preciate you bruh! Trying to keep up with you! Lol. It's time to go deep in the bag!!!
What a great video! Very well explained, I started building my rig and this gave me a lot of information.

@@jasons7889 I REALLY want the 35-150 but I can’t justify it yet. Lol

Do I need an arca swiss plate to be able to mount the battery plate on my camera?
If your cage is arca swiss, then no. BUT mine was supposed to be arca swiss and it didn't fit the plate so I had to use the plate that came with it.
Good content👌
yes sir
it's time bruh!!!
