Over the last 8-10 years I have listened to Steve quite a bit and even exchanged an email or two. In my opinion this is an EXCELLENT historical summary of the nation of Israel. Steve took 3500 years of history and managed to get it into a one hour lecture that the average person can easily follow. This is a great introduction to the student who wants to study the history of Israel. My only suggestion is I would love for Steve to pin a comment with some recommended books and authors for further study.

That is a very good observation. Paul even compares Hagai and Ishmael to the seed of the flesh/ representing Israel and he compares Sarai and Isaac to the seed of promise representing believers . It’s a great study.

God's second coming has nothing to do with a millennium kingdom but God's wrath His judgment and the establishment of a new heaven and new earth. If GOD entry during His second coming is at Jerusalem, Glory to Him. Amen 🙏🏻

A very good listen Steve thanks for the exposition. As someone who has studied this over the last few of years but for totally different reasons I have to say I pretty much concur with your take here and the historical analysis. What I would say is that there is a deeper angle not really explored and that Zionism comea from the same people that gave us Communism. Both ideologies have their roots in the secret societies and Luciferianism and emerged towards the end of the 18th century out into the open. Historically they go back much further through Freemasonry and the Rosicrucians to the mystery schools who all have roots in Judaic mysticism and the Babylonians who gave us the money magick system. The modern day connection is obviously Rothschild prominent through all this since Weishaupt (a Jew and a Jesuit) created the Illuminati. This group were behind the French and Irish revolutions and the later Young movement revolutions of the 1840's in Europe. The failure of those whose target was Christianity and the European monarchies was the reason they developed ideologies with the means to destroy society from within - hence Communism and the like the idea of attack from within society and Zionism which would attack from without. There is no doubt now of the stranglehold Zionism has on the western mindset as well as the destruction Communist thinking has wrought and the fact that everyone has to tiptoe around the topic of Zionism wary that they should invoke attack by the ADL. Here is my main issue with the darby doctrine : the Church is seen as an after thought that God is doing to pass time between that time gap that was never mentioned in Daniel's 9v25/27. Israel as a nation was for a time, for the savior to come. He came, the jews were the founders of the Church, all 12 apostles are jewish, the messiah is jewish. The jews are more than welcome in the Church. However, they cannot ask christians for special treatment. Israel is a nation like any other nation.

Great talk, Steve! You are clearly adopting a neutral position in this conflict. Indeed, it seems dificult to take the side of righteousness with all the confusion. Some details should be mentioned: the emergence of Islam is really fuzzy; the language of the Arabs may have been what Hebrew sounded like; the peaceful living together depended on the paying of extra taxes; terrorism was already used by the zealots and possibly other nations' guerilla fighters; Islam will not allow an Islamized land to go infidel. The new covenant doesn't cancel the promise of God to Abraham about the land of Israel which is irrevocable. No verse in the Bible which cancel the promise.
There are two covenant, the old covenant with Israel nation as descendants of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. In that covenant God promised the land of Israel as their inheritance as long as the earth exist. There is the new covenant sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ. It is spiritual, the promise is not a land but abunddance in truth, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit and will ultimately end up in the new Jerusalem not the Israeli's Jerusalem. Israel will not exist as a nation in the new Jerusalem.

There are two covenant, the old covenant with Israel nation as descendants of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. In that covenant God promised the land of Israel as their inheritance as long as the earth exist.
There is the new covenant sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ. It is spiritual, the promise is not a land but abunddance in truth, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit and will ultimately end up in the new Jerusalem not the Israeli's Jerusalem. Israel will not exist as a nation in the new Jerusalem.

There is blessings and curses clause in their covenant with God (Deut 28) but God is faithful, Israel nation will be saved on the end time after tribulation.
