I agree with a lot of your thoughts on these series, especially Barakamon and March Comes in Like a Lion. The pages in March were so busy and filled with dialogue I basically had to force myself to get through it. I hope you enjoy Silver Spoon when you get to it, I’m not a huge slice of life reader but it’s one of my favorites.
I’m not a fujimoto fan either, respectfully I think chainsaw man is overrated. I thought it was good and different from typical SJ titles. But it wasn’t nothing out of this world like everyone claims. And the last 2 or 3 volumes the story was all over the place. But I do like how it ended and I plan to keep reading. Got goodbye eri last month and didn’t enjoy it. I may read fire punch but so far not a huge fan of him.

Yeah Barakamon seemed like a surefire series that I was going to love. Hope to get to Silver Spoon before the end of the year!
