this was always my favorite episode as a child, i’d rewatch it with my mom over & over. it’s crazy how lucy made everything seem so natural, unscripted & like she’s not even acting. such a one of a kind queen ❤️
I loved when. Bobbie. Said her prayers. That was so cute. That was my favorite episode. I wanted a monkey. After watching that. But they were well trained chimpanzee and Lucy was so funny.

i have this one on d.v.d since..... 3-18-2005..... "Lucy The Babysitter" (1967)....... Lucy & Mr. Mooney argue about her efficiency, leading Lucy to seek another job where she will be more appreciated. She tries an employment agency, & inadvertently ends up babysitting a family of chimps. LOL
This episode is one of my favorites of all lucy shows where she baby sits the monkeys charlie is my favorite and the elephant at the end its like 3 king kongs mixed with one giant dumbo
I know she is so...cute . They all 3 are funny and cute . I bet she was wore out after doing this episode. I know I would be. 2 of my grandkids live with me and they're just as aggravating at times . LOL!! My granddaughter name is Charlie too. 🙈🙉🙊😁😜
I don't think Lucille was even acting in the monkey scenes. I believe she was ad-libbing and that is the real Lucy, I read a few stories on her and ALL of her friends say Her heart was on open book and that she was caring, sweet and a joy to be around until Desi came around. None of the actresses of today could handle this monkey scene..
Que pena no entiendo ingles soy Argentina .solo castellano español .me gustaria mucho poder entender lo que dicen .Esta serie hermosa de Lucy me acompaño toda mi niñez.gracias.

I trust Lucy’s judgement, so I must be missing something, but I’ve always found Mr. Mooney insufferable. He plays everything at the same booming energy level, and he really never seems interested in the truth of a moment. Lucy could be homicidally competitive with a grape-stomping stranger and it rang true. I can’t even get myself to imagine the Mooney works in a bank...
I know what you mean, but I suspect that is how the character was written. Men were expected to be like that then. As a 70's baby, I remember meeting quite a few.
no he is not albino .if he were albino , he would have white hair all over his body. I think he was burned on his head and face when he was younger .Therefore, he is bald on his head and you see the scar tissue ( similar to wrinkles of an old man ) in his face.o and severe burns can remove skin pigmentation , that is why his face is so white. it's either that or he has Vitiligo .the same skin disease as Michael Jackson had
Great performance as usual but, too much misogyny! it is very noticeable how they used to be that way: Unacceptable so I didn't like the video. All women deserve much more consideration.

Dont show the ads they ruin the program
HahahahahaI love Lucy forever... 2020 ..
And now 20 minutes of Lucy trying not to get bitten by three chimps.
I know and I laughed when she spanks that one on the butt . Hahaha...!!
I’m surprised she did the scene. Chimps are pretty aggressive
@@NS-vw8pm I don’t think they knew that back in the 70s. It was long before Carla Nash.

Funny hilarious stuff.🌺
I had that roller skating battery operated chimp toy, too!
The babysitter episode taught me more about parenting!!

This show is so funny.I like Here's Lucy the best, though. It had her real kids on it and a lot of famous stars as guests.

Anyways, that was really cool.... :)

Those monkeys were very well trained
Incredibly sweet moment @22:06

Lucy wasn’t the same with out Ricky and Fred!!
That's one hectic babysitting job. I'd think humans would be more of a handful than monkeys.

Oh lord no! She passed from an aortic rupture in like 1989!
Oh my good. Lucy working with 3 monkeys, is everything.
ha ha ha its funny
Lov it

These were lil kiddie chimps, so Lucy was quite safe. The adult sized ones, esp. the fully grown males 150lbs are what you've in mind.
