That’s a nervous bark not an aggressive bark. Archie is just scared and nervous. He’s beautiful. I wish I could have Archie be a big brother to my mini poodle.
If you take command by the front by using your body to block Archie from going infront of you, Archie would then know he isnt in charge. Then as each person enters, they ignore him and go sit on sofa. Archie if calm can then greet friends.
Hi Dave, Archie, and Billie.❤️❤️❤️. Archie is gorgeous like his daddy, Dave. Please find a really fabulous home for Archie. I know you will do it.👍👍👍 Sounds like he needs some good re-training and will be fine. He is fabulous. Under his breath “huffing” means he knows you wouldn’t approve of him barking so holds back.👍👍👍My three well trained Maltese would bark (huff) under breath because they knew I did not allow (barking). It just takes consistency and sounds like owner did not have the time. Archie seems great to me. IMO. ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️🐾
Glad the family chose to give him back to you rather than taking him to a shelter. He must feel confused wondering why he's not with his previous family. I believe Archie will have the perfect family.
My goodness Archie is gorgeous. He totally remembers you. He’s a people dog. I would love to have him with our Pumpkin. She just turned a year old . You can’t ask for a better breed of dog. I hope he’s spoiled and loved wherever he goes. You should keep him. He loves you it’s obvious. Please update us on Archie. He is gorgeous and will be someone’s love bug.
He is a sweet boy . He is just a bit nervous when there is too much going on. He is suuuper calm and comfortable when around you. I think he just needs a family that gives him a lot of love. P.s. David is sooo cute LOL. Such a lovely personality ! Love him.
He's adorable! He needs socialization. I use barking collars on my westies because they bark at everyone. They have learned in 1 week to not bark more than twice. I'd use the collar and work with him with people coming along quite a bit.
Dave’s Shirt 👔 is adorable. 💙🐾 I have had multiple dogs my whole life and they are all different. No two alike. Archie is a dog not a human. Dogs Bark and growl. Let him express his emotion’s with quick corrective reaction from his humans he will be fine. Some dogs are anxious just like people. Dogs are very smart and intuitive. It’s good his family realized he wasn’t happy and made the right choice to relocate him. Good for them. Great video Billie. Happy Fourth of July. ❤️🤍💙
He’s probably just a sensitive boy and needs patience to overcome these issues. We got our doodle at 3 months and he had been pretty much ignored by the breeder. He just had to be introduced to the things that bothered him and he learned they were no big deal. He took a little extra time and creativity but he’s come a long way since the . How old is Archie?
He's a cutie pie. Looks like he may have some fear agression. And definitely a nervous dog. His constant panting when the other dogs are not panting is definitely is his uneasiness and nervousness. He's a bit high strung. No doesn't really mean no and that's a product of his environment and could be a stubborn streak in him too. It will be interesting to see how he does.he's definitely unsure. Maybe he didn't trust the children. His bark and growl aren't mean. He's jyst unsure.
Is he full grown? How big is he gonna get? Really beautiful boy. Which kind is he? ❤ Thanks for being so honest and up front. People want the real deal, and they know we can get it from you. ❤
I could see he was a little protective of you and uncertain at times he would look back and make sure you were still there. He just needs a family that can devote time to HIM working and playing with him. It would be amazing if you could find him a family with another of your dogs one that is very calm and easy going since he seems to mimic the other dogs quite a bit. At the end when you let the other dogs in with him and your daughter and her friends he went right along with the other dogs but he was still barking and looking for you like "ok is this what i'm supposed to do?" instead of him being comfortable doing it all on his own. Does that make any sense? He was doing it to please even though he was still anxious and feeling reactive about the situation. Dogs I have seen like this do well with lots of mental and physical stimulation to burn off the excess nervous energy once they do that then they sit around like handsome laidback Dave and just chill. I am sure you pick out the perfect family for him - someone is going to be very lucky to have him he's precious.
Do you think he would be happy with a couple with no kids and no dogs , I think my son would be interested , unless you found him a home already ❤fromSATX
I think anyone who gets a puppy has to be prepared to deal with the types of 'issues' that Archie demonstrates; I don't know that his barking is cause for re-homing; he isn't aggressive and I would think the barking could be significantly decreased with training. I know you will place him in a good home, but I feel badly that he had to experience being uprooted after 1.5 years in a home
I agree 100% but I didn’t ask for the dog to come back. He was brought back to me because they wanted to rehome him. No close family that already knew him already, were able to take on a dog at this dog so we did have to find him a home that would fit best. He has an updated video, you should take a look at it. He’s with a wonderful family and another dog, and happy happy! The family loves him and you can tell it’s mutual.
@@SilverCreekGoldendoodles I watched it and I am so happy for Archie; that family seems like a good fit for him. I can imagine how difficult it was for you to let him go, but you did a great job of making sure he is going to be well-cared-for and loved; hopefully, that makes it sting a little less. And I appreciate that you took him back--I know that you didn't ask for him to come back, I just can not imagine anyone re-homing a dog they have had for a year and a half, especially when he is not demonstrating unusual. dangerous., or un-trainable behaviors! I am glad, though, that they contacted you rather than re-homing him on their own. I love watching your videos; it is heartwarming and impressive to see how much you care for your dogs/pups and how good you are at what you do!
He is Perfect. I would take him right now, however needing surgery on my knee next month.
I love your honesty on video😊 Archie is beautiful 😍
That’s a nervous bark not an aggressive bark. Archie is just scared and nervous. He’s beautiful. I wish I could have Archie be a big brother to my mini poodle.
Hope he finds a wonderful home, he deserves it!
He is afraid, and the other dogs are showing him what to do. He will learn! He is adorable!
What a beautiful sweet dog.
He looks perfectly happy with you, hope he finds a nice new home.
Such a good boy. He did fine with your husband. It was just a bad environment for him. He will do fine in a loving home.

I wish I lived closer. Salt Lake City is so far away. He is a beautiful boy !
I just love Dave’s personality

Seriously Dave is killing me his stare at you😂😂😂 I swear he is a Human!

He's a beautiful dog. I think he likes being with one person. He must have been attached to the mom? I hope he gets a good home!
This was very cute. I wish them luck with their new pup. Do they have other dogs at home?

This is basically what I imagine heaven to look like 😅

My dog Clover would love to play with Archie. She was looking for him behind my phone. 😂
He should stay with your family!
I can see the anxiety just a bit

Archi is cute ❤❤but what happened to Dave why he is wearing shirt is cold ❤😂
lol its just for cuteness. isnt it adorable on him?! haha!
He would be good for being a service dog for the deaf, blind or elderly person. Try to reach out to the organization.
Is he listed on the website?
He isnt.
Where are you located
Can you keep him , he’s home 😢
What is this thing....in a cage, in a trunk when they brought him back? I sure don't approve of that, do you?
not a small trunk... like the back of an SUV.... like i have. maybe i worded it wrong, lol
