    This is a fantastic product🌼 Are used to other products similar one of them was the top-of-the-line Roomba and this thing could find its way back to the dock. Our family enjoy a much cleaner floor now.

    So far so good with this vacuum. ruclips.net/user/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

    I like your flooring. Btw Viomi have a version 3 out. Hope you can test that. The S6 MaxV would be perfect if it has Y pattern mopping and a larger water tank like Viomi

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 года назад +1

      Thank you! The Y-pattern performs slightly better (theoretically, but can't prove it by tests), but the robot spends twice as much time on the job compared to S-pattern. Even though the Viomi has a larger separate water tank, the Roborock's water tank is always installed alongside with the dustbin. The Viomi also has a 2-in-1 dustbin, but it is smaller than Roborock's dustbin and water tank combined.

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 года назад +4

      I've already checked it with footwear, the robot can see it in the dark pretty well. There is an infrared LED in front of the robot, so it can recognize objects even in complete darkness. I'll test it with a fake poop a bit later and let you know.

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 года назад

      At the moment, you can't do that. The app allows you to clean a specific room, but not by the voice command. I've heard Roborock working on this feature. I didn't measure the noise level in the mopping mode, but in the max suction mode, it produces ~68 dB of noise.

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 года назад +1

      Thank you:) No, at least at the moment, it can't recognize small cables and a phone charger. Roborock claims objects between 3-8cm tall, and wider than 5cm can be seen and bypassed. Also, they promise to train the robot to recognize more objects and release a new firmware update, so I hope it will be able to recognize smaller objects as well.

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 года назад

      Well, it can't see smaller than 5x3 objects (at least at the moment), so they still need to keep the floors clean at least from small toys:) Not sure how to teach the Roborock to recognize opened doors faster, perhaps Roborock will improve it in further firmware updates.

      The S5 Max is a very intelligent device compared to other robot vacuums without the front camera. I would say Roborock lidar-guided models have the most accurate navigation on the market. It seems dumb in this test only because it is compared to more advanced S6 MaxV with the front camera and object recognition. Most likely, other robot vacuums would look even dumber in such circumstances:)

Worth to mention, that the Roborock S6 MaxV has a dual camera when the Ecovacs a single camera. Thanks to the dual camera, the S6 MaxV has stereoscopic vision and can estimate the exact distance to the object.
