Played at 4 am today. Enemy team had a Qiyana ADC and a Senna mid. You also find an interesting amount of Zyras during that time.

I waz lvling a fresh acc just for tft and decided to play a normal game and an aram. Got paired with grandmasters and diamonds lol. That acc might had god mmr or the game is truly dead at those hours.
Thing is, that's the only time of day I can play League without lag, so I do, and let me tell you, I've had (and probably will have) many interesting interactions happen. One time enemy vayne and our veigar both got high and we started talking about something in all chat and the vayne ended up telling us he works in London in a theater, gave us the location and said if we ever visit, we have free tickets from him. I mean he probably doesn't remember a thing, but it's fun to think about. (EUW League at 4am)
as someone in euw servers i can relate, i always have someone high in my games at 2 am its so funny, like the enemy lissandra, that dude was great and then some are toxic as shit

Don't know mate, best game I've ever had was just after the patch, when kids were asleep. I've stomped my top laner and he called truce, so it was given to him, we afk farmed and danced. At one point it was clear that we are gonna win and whole team called truce and we had a dance party in baron pit. Imagine that, having so much fun in ranked. Enemy team shortly after called vote and nothing but respectful comments were given.

As someone who stays up all night I stop playing League around 3AM and only start playing again around 6AM. Far too many shitty games in-between those hours.

Sometimes, during faculty, I was going at an internet cafe and I usually stayed through the night (the "full night" price was very low) and, after some really questionable experiences, I vowed to never play League after 4:00AM :))

I have the exact opposite experience. Whenever I play in the night, the games are either extremely quiet, everyone just casually plays or we have fun in chat and on the rift. If we do something stupid, both teams laugh and its much more fun. Even when I feed cause I have a bad game, I simply apologize and people say its ok, and they are not toxic.
But whenever I play in the day or the evening, toxicity is everywhere and you make one mistake and everyone gives you shit.

4am, weed, depression, LoL, ranked mode, loosing streak, weird interactions and plays and best of all. That odd feeling in your eyes of the lack of sleep and rest you had. If lucky you might do all this with a friend over at discord and have a blast in the loosing streak.
Good times say what you say about LoL but the game has given me so many late night memories in both my.best and worst times. Ever since season 3 i play a bit every year just to keep the tradition alive. I really hope when we old we have LoL nursing gaming houses. Ill throw a fit bug enough so my son or daughter put me in one.

i want to point out that mejais is best built when behind because its super gold efficient when you start stacking it and if you are behind its not like getting mejais will put you more behind. if you are already ahead then you have to keep mejais from losing stacks which is more detrimental to your lead than having a more secure but more expensive item because you have the gold lead anyways

1. you build this item either rly early and try to get as many assists or kills as you can to be ahaid harder
2 alternativerly if you are losing and gold is super hard to attain just build it
enemies tend to fuck shit up before finishing a game by fucking around, plenty of times comes the moment when an entire team manages to die like idiots in the last siege granting you up to full stacks if lucky, which is INSANE cuz at that point you gained so much value you might just win after that

Build Mejai’s all the time, even if I’m behind. Especially as an AP support. It’s not hard to get assists and when you do, your AP increases so rapidly that very soon you won’t be behind anymore. Great item so long as you don’t play stupid

As a night shifter who’s almost always awake at 4am; it’s both the best and the worst. It’s when a lot of the bots come out trying to derank to Iron, so at this point I just avoid ranked after 1am. Norms is still pretty fun with all the goofy picks though.
