This is why it’s handy if you have at least one motorcycle , you can fully flat foot with both feet at same time . This enables bike to be ridden on ice & snow in untreated side roads at slow pace , until the cleared & gritted main drag is reached. As they say where there is a will there is always a way . Nice vid by the way . 👍
My long since deceased father was named Bert, he would have loved them naming a storm after him. I've ridden so many of these roads in God's own country, love them .
This is stunning, I’m really enjoying the views despite a current eye problem causing double vision. No bike riding for me for a while except from my armchair, so thanks for the mention and for the opportunity to “get out there” once more. Episodes like this will keep me sane whilst my eye recovers. Thanks Dave. 👍
Just watched it over lunch at work. Nice and relaxing, beautiful country, will be in Masham on Saturday for brewery tour and no doubt a visit to the cheese factory to stock up for Christmas
Thanks for the "fix" of Dales roads, that'll keep me happy for a while ! 😊 I'd have liked to see more of the "Cam Gill Road" section because the run up from Middleham through Coverdale is a personal favourite - 17 miles of pure bliss. It's not obvious in the video, but the drop down into Kettlewell is STEEP ! Returning from Northallerton to Halifax a couple of months ago, I'd intended to take the Masham to Lofthouse road (then to Pately Bridge) but there had been heavy rain & the road was not merely awash but actually submerged just south of Leighton so I had to turn back.
Once again, what a ride, thankyou. I'm watching this at 6:am my time, couldn't sleep so what better to do than watch some of my favourite mc videos yours being first & foremost so, thanks again, really beautiful countryside. Bye now, ric, ontario canada.
Faboulous video for a winter Sunday morning, reminds me of many (40+) years past to this exile in the south. A great feel good trip as I look out at the winters trees. Dave thanks for taking me along. I’m sure the last time I rode Buttertubs there was no crash barriers…. Just bring strong pants and take it sensibly! I hope you have a bit of a stock of great video to help us through the winter. Ride Safe & see you in the next one!
I feel freedom when I ride for five minutes then a damm speed sign that only makes sense to the insane. Go on a motorway at 2am 50 mph limit not a box of death or a lorry of doom about, smart motorways my hairy backside. Your roads are mint peace plus freedom and proper views.
Thank you for these reminders Dave. I took in Lofthouse to Masham whilst you were compiling this treat in my car with a friend. The OAT varied from -1 to +2 deg C. Not a ride I would want to do on my bike through snow and ice, still beautiful but not quite as relaxing.
I'm still not sure if it was safe for Andy to have made his own flying machine and glide off the side of that Peak...pure madness! can't wait to get back upon Norf on those roads.Richard ( Brizzle) Safe riding...(missed one of your poems)
Nice, that's some of my favourites in that area (although there's a lot to choose from). PS Coming from a little further north, I have a few in west Durham and Northumberland too.
Morning Ian 😊 have a safe drive down today and look out for motorcycles, turning left 😊 bloody Herons ate all my gold fish 😢 thanks for the mention. Should I have bought the Garrila, though 🤔 only time will tell 👍
Brilliant roads mate👍🏍. Roll on next year for some decent weather 🤞and, we can do them again 😊. By the way, my late dad was called Bert! He would have been made up with this storm😂.
Well i must say, you have some stunning scenery and great roads to ride, loving the background piano 🎹 music. I do like the mirrors on the Moto Guzzi. Shame about the weather i think the Hornet will be staying in the shed this weekend, hopefully next weekend will be a bit better for us all. Great videos as always 👍
Great vid as always dave ,on other new did you know ktm are looking like they are on the way out . Pierer mobility dirty financial deeds done dirt cheap.
Hi, On your run from Lofthouse to Masham have you ever called to see the Leeds Pals 1st world war memorial just past the reservoir on the left. As a matter of interest what's you first name. Regards Ian from cobydale.
There was this one time I went out in Devon on a sunny Saturday evening when the roads weren't clogged with grockles. It's such a rare event. I never take a piano on my bike,it would only make things worse.
When all us " grockles " stay away from Devon you will be moaning about how all the businesses are closing because of no tourists. When you go on holiday I wonder what insulting name the locals give you.
@slappyfz1s402 I don't need to go on holiday because I'm from Devon. I've visited my folks who moved to the south of France where they call us "Les f*ckoffs". No idea why.
Great videos Dave and have you joined the Moto Guzzi Club of Great Britain yet. Hope you do not go to political like that Stuart Fillingham guy and his views on the government and signing a petition for another general election BS so I have unsubscribed from his vlogs.
Well done Dave. If this doesn't make folk want to visit and see for themselves then nothing will save their souls.

Perfect antidote for a cold and dark winter night thank you.

Hi Nick sorry to hear about the old eye pal (detached retina?). Hope it recovers soon and you can hit the road again 😊👍🏻
Just watched it over lunch at work. Nice and relaxing, beautiful country, will be in Masham on Saturday for brewery tour and no doubt a visit to the cheese factory to stock up for Christmas
What a treat to see all to three bikes in one video. That is definitely beautiful country that rivals the best roads anywhere! 🍻
Thank you, can’t wait to get out soon as the weather improves.
Hi Dave im pleased you stayed indoors mate , truly epic rides thank you for sharing , take care & ride safe
Beautiful roads in God's country. Thanks TBW!

Thanks Kevin there is full coverage of the fabulous Cam Gill road on my other videos 😊👍🏻
5 good choices Dave, one’s I’ve been lucky enough to do many times, and even cycle them in a past life !
Not bad for a Lancashire lad 😀
Thank you for some great videos. Inspiring.
Lovely part of the world, Dave. 👍 In something of a contrast to your weather conditions, we had a warm 37C here yesterday... 🏖
You lucky person! 😎
David.. Dave...Davey! 😉😉😉😉

@@thebingleywheeler I certainly will Dave. It would be great to meet you. Thoroughly enjoy your videos 👍
You should definitely be on a retainer with the Yorkshire Tourist Board!

22 years old and the desire for adventure overruled common sense 😂
Cheers Richard I’ll try and dig up some more 👍🏻
@@Andy_Bat how's your 750 going Andy; did you keep the Bonni ?
@ the Bonnie went in against the NC750, really like it easy to handle with the low CG and DCT is a cheat really but so effortless and 84 mpg as well.
Nice, that's some of my favourites in that area (although there's a lot to choose from). PS Coming from a little further north, I have a few in west Durham and Northumberland too.
My top 5 too Dave!
In less than 1 months, we have have the winter sun turn behind us.!
Roll on that solstice 😎👍🏻
Thanks for the compilation of gods green acre.
Grand days out!

Didn’t know that very surprising given they’ve just unveiled several new models at the shows
