The Ladies of Band-Maid are writing music constantly and recording all the time as well. Even during the midst of their previous tours they would write and be ready to record with any breaks they had. Which is how they managed to record over 120 songs in 10 years. And all of them are good songs.

@@georgethomas6744 Well, Ed Sullivan died 12 years before I was born so I do not lol. That said I am well aware of the importance and iconic status of the Ed Sullivan Show, easy Mt Rushmore of Late Night Talk Show Hosts, and how many legendary musical acts performed on his show and I completely agree; the Maids would fit right along with those greats that performed on the show.

Band-Maid is simply the best Hard Rock/Meta/Progressive/Punk/Pop band on the planet. Basically, as the ladies have said they are in a genre of their own and I agree. Not only are they world-class musicians and proficient songwriters they are an even greater live act.
I had been fortunate to see them live twice once in 2019 in LA and last year in San Diego. They killed it on both occasions. Everyone do yourself a favor and sample this band because there are very few times in history when one gets an opportunity to witness greatness in person and Band-Maid is one of those rarely great things.

Will all due respect, I doubt whether most fans of the band even listen to Radio. RUclips and social media as a whole have essentially supplanted commercial radio when it comes to discovering new music as the current crop of program directors on the airwaves don't take quite the same risks as in the past. Same applies to the industry as a whole.

99.7 The Blitz, thanks very much for interviewing Band-Maid. Please start playing their music on your station. If you have affiliate stations, encourage them to do the same. In a couple of years, you will be able to say that you were ahead of the curve. I can't emphasize this strongly enough: This is not just another rock band. They are world-class musicians, prolific and astoundingly talented/creative songwriters, and their stage presence will blow you away. The fact that most of their lyrics are in Japanese shouldn't be an obstacle/issue for airplay. They have already won over a devoted and fast-growing fanbase in North America among people who originally knew little or no Japanese (although Band-Maid has inspired many of us to start learning!).

Miku was also originally a Japanese -Idol herself but later found she didn't like that lifestyle. The ladies are truly talented and know how to work an audience. Along with one of the most unique aspects to their show with Omajinai Time.
Who does this as most bands are not this approachable. Their shows are worth the price of admission twice over. Kanami once said Carlos Santana and Larry Carlton influenced her own use of pentatonic scales in her lead solos which I find interesting.
Kanami was also asked about what she feels about writting music during a eariler Japanese interview. So far, I haven’t gotten tired of it. I am not trying to find a way to grow tired of it, but song writing has already become a part of my life.
Really, I don’t have anything else to do. What a lonely tale (laughs). Atsumi on the other hand aspired to sing because of her love for Namie Amuro. How can we not love a band who named their Zemaitis A24MF-FP guitar The Flappy Pigeon lol.🕊 Which is a work of art btw🤘🎸🔥

I wish I was able to see them when they were here. Someone told me they played in Philadelphia 2 weeks before I looked. I probably didn't move a muscle for 3 days afterward.

Too funny the fact that the interviewer doesn't realize that he is in front of the founder of the most awesome rock band of the last 25 years.🤟💥💥

Given the view count of this vid against the performance of all your other recent interviews, looks like you should be featuring Band-Maid a lot more! Best “ unknown “ rock act in the world!
