Happy New Year Job! This year, I'm using hobo weeks for "daily" use to keep track of plans, birthdays, trips, etc. 2nd year using it and I like it so far. I also just started the hobo 5 year journal 😬 so yeah lol. TN for highlighted spreads and travels. I tried to keep things simple or else it becomes a chore like you said.
Happy New Year 📓 I call my edc my trash book (a more 90s-kid equivalent of a wastebook lol). It's beloved and catches everything that eventually gets filtered into their own respective journals. It's especially valuable to partner with my commonplace and writing journals.
Happy New Year!! 📓 one day i will try a plotter. I have been holding out but one day when i feel like i will use it. I will get it. lol Love your end thoughts. I feel the same about planner peace. Planner peace is a moving notion. Something that changes with you. And I have also in the past have taken breaks from social media because of the influence. But I think I am in a good place mentally where I can really curb my consumption of notebooks. I always wanted to just write it down on my wish list when I see something but it never worked in the past. But. Guess what. 2 days in the new year and I have 3 things I saw I wanted and wrote it down on my wishlist and I’m taking my time. I look at the bookshelf of stationery I have and say to myself. Not today. And I have been reusing older notebooks and planners and just re dating them or whiting out so I can use it as an undated notebook. Especially my MD one day one page notebooks which I have a few unfinished. But it’s perfect that the back pages are undated. So now I use one for my dear diary journal for my big emotions. I’m loving this era of mine of actually finishing a notebook or repurposing another notebook. Again! Thank you for your time!!! Always love the vids!
📒📓📔 Happy New Year!!! honestly this video helped me a lot in deciding that I don't need a pressure myself to daily journal and to just memory keep the significant parts. but also that I need to calm down in the buying fever and look back into the notebooks that I haven't even touched 😵💫 I am reorganizing as we speak 😅
📓Joyful journaling & planning. Lovers of analog 🧡Glue-in, tip-in I can relate. My journaling is fused with to-do & remember. Crafted journal is art mix for memory/ reflection. Your 2025 looks ready to roll & covers you at home 🌟
Happy new year! I love your simple set up ~ it seems very “Job”! I’m using a passport (for the ninth year) with traveler’s notebook monthly and weekly inserts similar to yours. Planning and simple recap in the monthly and day to day lists and notes in the weekly that I refer to for longer form journaling. I also keep two Sarica Studio notebooks - one for daily journaling and one for miscellaneous notes. I’m starting year three in my five-year techno too. I love techo kaigi videos because it’s so interesting to see how we all individually use the same tools in so many different ways. Here’s to a happy, healthy and creative 2025! 📙📝
I lost my Moomin TN in the street with my 2025 weekly and monthly refills. :,( I'm getting new refills asap haha. I also use a A6 Hobonichi as a diary. 📙📙📙📙
📓📙📒 Happy new year, Job! You and Abbey have convinced me in saving up for a plotter 😂 can’t wait to see you talk more about it this year! I definitely want to implement commonplacing, planning, and journaling this year. Thanks for the inspiration!! 🫶🏼
I'm a TN girlie through and through. I use a standard-sized undated horizontal+memo planner (I like to put the dates in myself) for planning and daily tracking, plus one additional insert for longer form journaling, collage, sketching, memory keeping etc (I go through a lot of these in a year!). I also have a passport that I use for café journaling and EDC notes. This year, I'm adding a Midori 10-year journal that I'm starting today! I've been on the fence about getting a Plotter, but that Mini 5 is wow!! I'l be getting that for sure as an EDC, it's exactly what I didn't know I needed lol. I'm going to use it as a wallet and on-the-go notes. Happy New Year, and I look forward to watching your channel this year. 📙
Happy new year! 📙 I'm using a B6 common planner as my 'everything' - planner and memory keeper - and I don't technically *need* anything else but of course I'm also messing around in a TN (two, actually 😅) and a B6 slim Midori notebook as sidekick-books or various kinds. I figure as they're undated, if I fall off using them that's OK, as long as I'm enjoying it!
Happy New Year Job! Thank you for sharing what you plan to use in 2025. I will be using an Aura Estelle A6 Catch All as my planner. My Galen Leather prayer journal that I was gifted from my sweet friend, a TN for my gratitude practice, and my A5 Leela Journals notebook for journaling. I definitely have enough.😂 Wishing you a wonderful new year.❤
thanks jobs for your techo kaigi! It help me to decide what I want to do with my regular size traveler's notebook for 2025. I can use both my passport and regular one this year thanks to you!
📓 hny! thanks so much for your videos. i just discovered them recently and they make me so happy. i have one journal for gratitude and mindfulness, and another that is for pretty much everything else - brain dumps, collage mood boards, weekly to-do’s and monthly reflections. it means i go through them pretty quickly but they also don’t become so crinkly and unwieldy that it becomes a pain. also any more than 2 and i would lose/forget them *constantly* so congrats on having your shit together enough to have 5, lol 📓
Happy new year! Loved this video Job 📓📙 I watched this while organizing my chaotic stationery and journal stash 😮💨 hoping for planner peace, if there is one lol
The modularity of Plotter--or any other ring binder--is great for me UNTIL it comes to archiving. Loose sheets, or however you want to refer to them, just feel a bit lost when they're out of the binder. That doesn't bother me for "work planning," but I'm a bit less comfortable about it when it comes to fun stuff like media journaling. Which makes me wonder what kind of archiving system you're planning for those fun pages. Happy New Year, Job!
Loved seeing what you are using! Simplicity is my goal this year. Using 2 Hobonichis and a Hobonichi a6 notebook for tracking. My journals change constantly as I use them quickly.📚📓
Happy New Year! Just want to say I love your channel and I really enjoyed hearing you talk about your system! ❤ For 2025, I'll be using a TN for work, another TN for my commonplace, a hobo weeks for my health tracker and a techo original for my journaling/memory keeping. I'm tempted to add a passport TN as well, especially after seeing yours haha!
📔 Thanks for the post, and your video journal. I'm a Filofax or die kind, my filofax cover is from 2001! I like the loose leaf rings. Have a great holiday!
Love this! I'm trying to stick with 3 this year a monthly weekly a5 plotter an a5 daily art journal plotter and a family photo album/ memory keeping regular travelers notebook with very minimal supplental notebook usage 🫣📙
I started another A5 Leuchtturm. I've been using them since 2020 and just cannot break the streak though I consider it. I also picked up a discontinued Happy Planner, 18 months so it is good for this year, for $4.00. I never had one and wanted to try it as a planner. For what though, I'm retired and live in the boondocks. 😂
Happy New Year to you! This is a great line up:) I am using a standard TN with blank insert for my "daily" journal for the 3rd year in a row, an A5 6-ring planner with May Paper Co./Cloth & Paper monthly/weekly pages, and a Hobonichi weeks which has the same information as my A5 but can be thrown in my bag for on-the-go. I love to have my A5 out and open at work/home on my desk so it doesn't travel very far. But, I've never had 2 planners, so we'll see how this goes! 📙📘📗
📙📓Happy New Year! I am still trying to work out my system, but I too tend to feel overwhelmed by too many dated journals. Hopefully, what I start with this year is what I’ll end with this year 😆🤞🏻
📙📓 I’m continuing to use just the TN Standard as my all in one journal: daily log, memory keeping, photos, commonplace with clippings and quotes, and my art.
Happy New Year!!!! I have 10 in my techo kaigi lol... but to be fair, do my 3 language books count? But I do have my a5 plotter for work, and went back to passport tn for my personal planner, and a nolty 1111 for my weekly recap. Since starting the school year, I found myself less and less journaling in my diary . I just never have the time or too drained to journal. So whenever I'm feeling "deep" emotions, I just jot it down in my random thoughts journal inside my TSL TN that also stores my affirmations and prayer journal. And let's not forget my hobonichi weeks as my ink journal.
📔📝📓❤️🥳2025🎉 I am being a little weird this year - I started a blank sterling ink planner in September since that is my birthday month and I decided that would be my personal new year - so here I am at the beginning of the official 2025 new year and I don’t have a new planner 😱 feels a little strange but also very freeing! Might add a travelers notebook with blank inserts to journal, but really thinking I may just keep everything in the one planner I have going right now At the beginning of 2024 I had about 5 planners started and it was causing me anxiety and overwhelm - I had to “hard quit” - realizing there was a certain desperation in my thinking to acquire all the things, put myself in planner rehab mode
Happy new year! I love your simple set up. Everything goes so well together. 😍 I haven’t ventured into the Plotter world, but my TNs have a special place in my heart. I went in the opposite direction to you and for my TN customized at TSL in Oct. normally, I order simple leather covers, but I’m so attached to my customized cover. 🥹
I'm a TN user but have been tempted by the Plotter system. Now that I know they are made by the same parent company, it makes sense. I like the way they think.
Since you work for TRC, who do we talk to for more special Passport covers? We got a few new regular size ones but no special edition Passport Covers. The ones on Ebay are ridiculously priced, and mainly ones that are either Starbucks or some other collab that is not known to us. As for planner journals. I use the TRC regular size horizontal weekly pre-dated for journal-ling, I keep it at home, on the left in the horizontal box I will journal the highlights of the day. On the left, it is sort of like a weekly bullet journal. Part planning, part tracking purchases, tracking activity, or any days that exceeded the box I will put it here as well. I have a Passport size that goes with me to work, and stays in the car when not at work. Just a monthly insert and a lightweight insert, with the zip pouch insert, rewards card, notes and must do for the day goes in the notebooks. Though if we are traveling I will swap out the two paper inserts with grid inserts and a canvas pouch. Will have trip planned on the grid insert, check off the things we did, how much we spend for each things, small reviews. Usually I will do that either at the hotel for the night or if I didn't need to drive, will do it at that time, or even waiting in line for certain things. Put down receipt etc in the pouches, leaflets etc. Lastly I have a Notebook Therapy A5 with 10 pages reserved for Index. I essentially migrate everything from paper/digital to here, dedicated tracking pages for activities , spending, events, travels, coffee notes etc etc. Essentially just everything I want to keep track or read in the future, index everything by category. I do this probably once a week if I have time.
New sub, Happy New Year! My journal is the A5 HON Hiroko Kubota’s EDC is my Hobonichi Weeks in the Cats design which is good until April then into the Bijutsukai Weeks Work planner Take A Note A6 ✅
A blessed new year, Job. I use a regular journal for personal, a faith notebook and a prayer notebook. None are Plotters or TN's though. Out of my budget😊📓📔🗒️📒📑
Happy new year, Job! I’m so glad I discovered your channel this year, thank you for all the awesome content! Question! For your memory journal, do you have a tip for writing in a straight line lol? I’ve always used gridded inserts but want to try the light paper but am stressed about no line guides 😂. 📗📘📒
Hello Job! Right now I’m using three dated planners, the first one is a Hobonichi weeks for my Health and finances; my second one is a Hobonichi Techo A6 for journaling And planning and my third one is a Hobonichi weekly supplement for my work. I’m really happy with my choices but I’m open to either expanding my Techo Kaigi or downsizing it. 📔🖋️📔
I am switching back to analog journaling from digital for years. To push and encourage myself, I consume journaling content. Subscribed, thank you.
