i wish we all lived next door to each other, so we can support each other, sometimes I feel like no one understand how it feels to be dizzy, and have panic attacks
Thankyou so much for everything you do. I have joined your free course and my bobbing is starting to lessen. I have been to therapy, I have talked to many health professionals. I’ve never cried like I just have now. I do not cry. I had a miscarriage 6 years ago and dealt with it like I deal with everything. Told myself it wasn’t meant to be and moved on. In this session I just stepped onto a boat (where my symptoms began) my nervous system was in the form of a toddler but he was all fuzzy (obviously my perception of a nervous system) He was holding my hand. He then turned into a man (still fuzzy) and jumped into the water. The water calmed and the boat became calmer but not still. I stepped off the boat and the toddler was back. I looked out at the water and the toddler jumped into my body and left a feeling of calm over me. Again I cried very hard and realised that I’ve been holding the pain of losing a baby I so badly wanted and with that my body has been experiencing many things and most recently MdDS. Sorry for the long post but I felt compelled to tell you how grateful I am for your work. Starting this, I never thought it would bring these things out but that’s because they are suppressed deep down. Keep doing what you are doing. You are amazing!!❤
I have tears in my eyes reading your comment. There is no way around grieving a loss like that and I am so glad you are allowing yourself the space to work through it.
Im almost 2 yrs into dizziness and other brain surgery complications and part of me is still in a state of disbelief about my situation/limitations. This video, Dr Yonit, made me cry a lot. Thank you for your support & love. Back to you. ❤️❤️❤️
Dr Yo, I have been in this for 2 years, followed/ recieved many mind body PRT practitioners and your videos are hands down the most specific and helpful supports I have come across. Im finally healing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I had a little break through listening to this followed by a waterfall of tears. I have been saying this to my partner. If only I could manage the fear a little better.... this video is going everywhere with me from now on. I am so grateful ❤❤
I just wanted to say thank you so much for making all this content available for free. You’ve given me my life back and although I’m still in the process, I’m just so grateful for you. When I’m able to give back financially, I will 💗
I just used this during lunch with coworkers after a long time of not going with them. I went to restroom did the breathing and came back sat down and had one AirPod in listening . Then realized I was laughing and having fun. Did I still feel dizziness kind of but it didn’t bother me much. I didn’t think it was going to be bad because recently went to lunch with fiancé and dinner with family with hardly any issues but not with coworkers. Thank you for this very helpful tool.. I’m sure through all the talking at the table I didn’t hear everything you said accept for you are safe . The funny thing is that the girl visiting us from another company brought up if anyone ever has had vertigo cause she just had it on Monday … talk about trigger to talk about but I got through it 😊
This is so extremely kind. I got a little emotional because I think this is exactly what people need, especially in that early stage where it is all so overwhelming. Thank you so much. Your work is so valued!
This is one of the best activity I have listen to in a long time thank you so much I do really enjoy listening to it and will definitely continue . Actually my neck is hurting now
Ok, I haven’t been “able” to lay on my right side for over 3 years because I was so scared of getting Vertigo from a vestibular weakness in my right ear from vestibular neuritis. I did it just now while listening to this and honestly I’m in tears (of Joy!) I made it through the whole video without any symptoms 🥹 I want to thank you so much for all you do and I’m so thankful to have found your channel and thank you for being so selfless and offering healing to people who don’t have a ton of money to spend. ❤️🩹 Who knew after all the specialist appointments, medications (that didn’t work) testing and alternative therapies that were so expensive and failed me, that all I needed was your channel and guidance!
Oh Rachel, this is so incredibly kind of you and I am so full of gratitude that you shared how it went for you! That is such a big deal!!! WOW!! I actually wasn't planning to put this on RUclips (who's going to want to listen to me talk for 20 minutes?) but the people who listened to it talked me into it and I'm so glad they did. I never expect any donations but when I get them, I turn around and put them into the hosting costs for the free course and these videos. Thank you so much for paying it forward in that way, but especially for leaving this comment because others will see it and have the courage to face their fears as well.
This was amazing!!!! Thank you for all you do and the heart that you have to help people struggling through the hardest season of their lives! Can I ask why I would be ok looking and scrolling or watching things on my phone, but TV instantly makes me nauseous and dizzy
Hi Terri! That is really a great question and I get asked this a lot. I think it’s a telltale sign of neural circuit dizziness when someone reacts to some screens and not others. I usually ask people to think about WHAT they are looking at and WHY. For example, when someone is only watching TV at the end of a stressful day, that can cause an association between stress and TV, or TV can sometimes be used as a way to avoid feelings or conflicts- all of those can lead to symptoms. Of course the bigger screen can also be tough when your brain is prioritizing vision as well.
I use the audio when I walk slowly or with my eyes closed because then I feel as if the floor is falling up and down. The anxiety has improved a lot. But the dizziness hasn't yet. Is that normal? How often should I do this exercise? I think the fear that my jaw or cervical spine is responsible for the dizziness is still standing in my way. But thank you very much for your work Yonit! ❤ Your words in the audio touched my heart
Hi there! Great questions, Anxiety often goes first and it can take time for symptoms to follow. Stay the course, they will improve in time. There is nothing dangerous about doing the exercise more than once a day but you want to avoid spending all day/long periods of time doing things to fix your dizziness. Most people set aside time 1-2 x a day to do things like this and then try to fill the rest of their time with enjoyable and/or fulfilling activities.
Hi Dr Yo, I had asked you this before but don’t remember the recent video where the answer was…what if the fear of the symptoms is gone but now you have frustration about the symptoms not leaving? Can you tell me what the video was again?
First, you can think about tracking frustration like a symptom (somatic tracking 2). You can also think about working with frustration the way I’d work with shame. I have a video coming out about that this weekend. Not sure which other video I referred you to but those two come to mind.
Dear Yonit, thank you very much for this beautiful exercise. Is it also on Insight timer? Unfortunately I can't find it there. I do most of your exercises daily from Insight timer. I hope you'll consider doing this exercise there too. I am very happy with your work, thank you very much for this. Laura from the Netherlands.
Did this for the first time today and feel like it helped a little. Do you think if I keep on doing this daily I’ll continue to feel better? Also is it normal to feel very dissociated while experiencing PPPD?
I am so glad this is helping. Please check out my free course as I discuss more in details my techniques and recommendations to heal thesteadycoach.com/free-course. Also, dissociation is common symptom with neural circuit dizziness. I talk about this more in this video ruclips.net/video/YRAe_VeCA3w/видео.html
