My issues are mainly when i walk outside to my garden. i was starting to think i was becoming sensitive to the bright skies and sun. I feel so off balanced and lightheaded . I hate this.
Thank you so much! I have been suffering from this for many years, and have finally found the solution. Started with some of your exercises yesterday and found immediate relief 🙏🏼😌

@@TheSteadyCoach Hi doctor, i want an online consultation with you for the diagnosis of my disease. I 247 have dizziness , that dizziness is not like vertigo that everything is revolving , but that type of vertigo wherein i am unable to gaze anything. It remains 247 365 days a year. It suppresses when doctor gives anti vertigo medicines for months . Please help me out , no one is able to diagnose it here in India.
I have just discovered your content and am blown away - not because I struggle with chronic dizziness myself but my 90-year-old mother is pretty much housebound and chair-ridden because of it. Granted, she has macular degeneration and claims the dizziness got worse as her vision got worse BUT she has complained of vertigo-like symptoms and other chronic symptoms for decades before her AMD blinded her. She has been through every test possible to discover the source of her dizziness and all the MDs keep telling her is how healthy she is! She also suffers from CFS-type symptoms. I don't know if someone her age can accept the mind-body connection concepts, but I'm going to gently introduce her to your content. Can't hurt at this point. She has no quality of life.
thank you for explaning all the components in many different ways so i can understand. ive been having vertigo daily. for 2 weeks. i was dx pppd and meniers, having trouble figuring things out. i did have vetibular pt which helped me most with the visual pppd issues. it was a god send and something that gave me my life back. now just having vertigo spells daily, i almost feel like its cervicogenic because of tension in neck n back of head. God bless you.
Same here! I believe my symptoms, dizziness, fatigue are from my cervical instability, Esp since I’ve had a head, brain & neck ct come back “ normal” say’s degenerative changes in neck
I was always very prone to severe motion sickness as a child. When I grow older it got a bit better but still pretty bad. Now as I'm an adult I always have to drive myself or take motion sickness medications. But very often I also get motion sick when I drive myself, much traffic, rainy or foggy weather or driving in the dark is the worst!!! Bit it can happen in normal circumstances too. Sometimes I get it even if I stand next to a big TV, a train, a street... ans other occations... It starts with discomfort, headache, dizziness and brain fog and soon goes to nausea, cold sweat, trembling, weakness and worstcase collaps. If it gets this bad I have to lay down and sleep or I don't get rid of the symptoms for hours....it is very disabling in my life. I just recently found out on the web search, that it could be a neuro-occular-vestibular dysfunction... I think it is the same you talk about. In my country (swiss) I found nothing about it... no treatment or study.... so I'm excited I found you and maybe your exercises can help me. I recently got diagnosed (at 36yrs) with ADHD.... is it possible that it is related? I mean ADHD is a brain procession dysfunction, right?
Sounds a lot like the conditions I talk about on the channel. I see a lot of ADHD along with neural circuit dizziness. They are related but not the same. This is a good one to watch to understand the symptoms better. ruclips.net/video/4QDFGvHGURc/видео.html
Fantastic vid to explain how the hypo function of one sense is mitigated by hyper function of another! Really resonates. Thank you so much. ‘Looking into the fridge’ is like an extreme sport for me!
I've taken your free course and I finally feel seen! The information you've provided is so valuable and helpful. I find I have more symptoms in a dark room and activities such as the cinema. Would you suggest doing these exercises in a dark room? Thank you so much!
I had Ramsey hunt syndrome almost a year ago and still suffer from balance issues and visual vertigo. I was really triggered today and stumbled across this video. The information you provided was spot on! I am definitely overcompensating for the vestibular nerve damage with my eyes and experience sensory overload. I am going to try your suggestion exercises to rebalance my system. I feel confident that this is the piece I have been missing for a full recovery. Thank you so so much.
Lisa, I'm so sorry you had that experience- AWFUL. I want you to know that many others on my channel had their symptoms start with viral infections and beyond this video, you may want to take a look at some of the videos in which I talk about anxiety and fear as well. Even when the cause was physical, calming your fight/flight system really helps. ruclips.net/video/o0F6n_QB4iU/видео.html
This makes so much sense. I've had chronic dizziness for 8 years after a giant anxiety spell followed by head injury, the diagnosis is Vestibular Migraine/MdDS and all your videos make so much sense to me. I wish they existed back in 2016 🥲 I'm literally listening to this video right now, not watching it because I can't. It'll make me dizzy 😭
I just found your channel- feeling so grateful for your passion to help those of us dealing with dizziness. I am excited to watch more videos. I have vestibular disfunction brought in by chronic stress and peri-menopause. I am seeing a practitioner but your in depth analysis is super helpful. Thank you so much and God Bless You
Silvia! Welcome to my channel. I am so frustrated by the lack of information out there, especially for women in perimenopause. This is a huge issue that is being ignored by the mainstream and it is absurd considering the effects that vestibular issues have on people! The good news is, many women in your position have gotten SO much better using these techniques and the free course. Stay tuned for the interview with Kim (coming soon), she went through menopause when these symptoms started.
I'm about to start your course, before anything I'd like to thank you for taking your time to assist people like me. I'm from a small country called Eswatini and PPPD isn't really known here. I was initially diagnosed with Vestibular Neuritis about 2 years ago and since then I've just never been the same with symptoms changing. The few symptoms I struggle with are sitting positions, some chairs just throw me off, some standing positions like when I stand and lean on something and the worst out of all is after I've driven for like maybe half an hour or more I just feel terrible after that and sometimes even struggle to sleep if I drove for long. I really hope I can get the help I've been searching for, thanks once again.
Thank you for this video, and helping so many of us with these issues. Today is the first time I have heard about the refrigerator. I honestly thought I was delusional when I would go up to open the refrigerator, and my balance would be so bad. I'm starting to listen to your videos, and I'm going to be talking with my Dr. I know for me, the off balance issues started with my progressive lenses. Thank you so much for all you do.
I was pretty much free from this vertigo feeling for a year or two but it crept back 2 weeks ago, I believe due to spending too much time in a very visually stimulating videogame without really walking about because of some exercise intolerance with long covid but the closed eye exercises have been really helpful and I don't get the marshmallow walking as bad as a week ago and your videos helped me beyond belief
This information is amazing. Thank you. It makes so much sense. For years I have had no idea what has been happening to me and it is finally FINALLY coming together.
You're very welcome, Candice! I am so glad that it is all coming together. Thank you for trusting me! It is truly my privilege to share this information.
Hi, Yolit I need to say thank you for your videos, it brings me mental peace, I have chronic dizzy 24/7 it never goes, since two months, im very affraid to have these symthomps for ever, I cant see well and thats te reason why I dont work because im a graphic designer and an artist..it has been the worst part of the illness. Im so stressed and sad... thank you for your help. I hope to recover completly some day ⭐️🌟
@@Itchytooth.Hello, I can tell you that I am better now. the truth is that I have more acceptance towards my condition. While I am not at my 100% yet, I still feel way better in comparison. I went from being very depressed and wanting to die to living a completely normal life. A healthy lifestyle and 0 stress definitely help a lot (psychological treatment too). This is already my second year with the condition. I used to have symptoms 24/7 and now there are days in which I'm fine, so yes, it is possible to recover. I suggest that you take the steady coach yonith course, it is excellent.
Thankyou. I get triggered when im cleaning, wiping, mopping, vacuuming. The movement and watching it brings it on. Really annoying since i had a cleaning business for years.
I have this same problem. It's so aggravating. I was wondering if your better? And I can't find the videos on this.??? Do or did you have anxiety while you had this going on?
My dizziness started in may of this year. I have had all of the awful symptoms that it seems like comes with PPPD. Swaying, feeling like the floor is moving, eye issues, eye floaters, derealization, jaw pain, light sensitivity, panic attacks while driving, etc. I have been watching your videos and I have been really working hard to get over this. I’ve noticed recently that I don’t feel as dizzy anymore but the eye floaters are what really bother me. Are eye floaters very common with PPPD? If so, why is it that people with pppd notice them? I have never noticed eye floaters before this dizziness started. Thank you so much for your videos they have really helped me.
They are! The brain isn't doing a good job of filtering out the floaters because it's hypersensitive to any info coming in from your eyes. Also when someone is in fight/flight chronically, the body doesn't work quite as efficiently and this can create more floaters.
I really appreciate all of your videos! They are super informative and will be downloading your free guide. I do wonder if I have visual vertigo, cervical dizziness or a combination of both. I got neck strain/whiplash from breaking up a dog fight and have been healing for several months now. The initial chiropractor I went to caused me severe vertigo in which I got sent to the ER. CT scan was clear. My current chiropractor has helped tremendously with putting a curve back in my neck and fixing my c1 & c2 subluxation. I was experiencing some dizziness on and off throughout, but for the past couple weeks I have had constant dizziness, especially with blue fluorescent and blue LED lights. I feel a head change and get nauseous. Dim lighting makes me dizzy as well, in addition to checkered flooring. Moving my head too fast and looking down causes some dizziness as well, and I'm always tired. I've become pretty depressed and stressed, and some neck muscles are tight including my SCM. Does it sound like a combination of both visual and cervical? Currently waiting to see a doctor, but in the mean time trying to help myself.
I’m sorry you’re going through this! What you describe is so common among people with NCD that I don’t differentiate between visual vs cervical once medical issues have been addressed- they are both part of neural circuit dizziness. I know you haven’t had all the medical testing done yet but you don’t need to focus on exercises in the meantime. Focus on calming your nervous system.
Great video. I have bilateral vestibular loss, visual vertigo & 3pd. I feel like my brain is malfunctioning.. can this cause widespread pain as well as all the other symptoms you have mentioned such has dizziness balance motion sickness etc..
Another great video thanks Yonit, it is really good to learn about the switching technique and for you to give an exercise to demonstrate this. that is brill and I look forward to trying it. X
Thank you so much. I have been suffering from PPPD for 1.5 years and what's really bothering me is watching TV and working on my computers . Any tips on which exercise to focus on? Thank you so much, you're really a Gem !
I would start with head and eye movement type exercises (I have a whole written course on my website) but starting with still backgrounds on screens, then ones that are not moving but are "busy" (patterns and shapes), then progressing to some of the ones in the video description. My favorite one is the head shake exercises I show in this video because it challenges your whole vestibular system.
Hello Phillippe, have you already seen my video on cervicogenic dizziness? It doesn’t really cover that question specifically but it does go over how common it is to have neck issues. Soreness and stiffness in the neck can be one of two things- being afraid to move your neck/being a stiff because movement makes you dizzier, OR it can be a chronic pain type condition that is another way stress is being expressed in the body. I will have more videos about this in the future!
I am interested in your thoughts on that too. I had huge massive knots in my neck, stiffness & sometimes headaches. Thanks for asking the question I forgot to ask😁
I had the experimental gentamicin operation in 2000 which killed off my right ear balance organ. I am now, in my eighties, suffering from constant background dizziness. My brain has to rely on my eyes more so in the dark I lurch when trying to walk. I will work at the exercises as I feel they may well address the basic issue. Thank you.
I am sorry to hear what you're going through! If your left ear is still functional, your brain can compensate for this issue. ruclips.net/video/y6UQmNSnVFo/видео.html
Wow.. such a wonderful explanation.. excellent video.. many thanks to you for all your effort to educate on the lesser known physiology .. I feel your videos are very helpful. Thanks again. 👏👏👍
Wow thank you so much. My eyes are blurry, I have been struggling eith breathing heavily while walking in stairs etc. I am so dizzy. My body is numb. My arms are weak. I almost passed out and had problems with speach. I have been this way for 4 weeks now. The hospital said they believe it is stress because CT scan of head show nothing! You really put me in the right direction! Thank you so so much❤️
Amazing. You're not alone- of course do your medical follow ups to make sure nothing explains this, but understanding how your nervous system plays into this is really important.
Ok so I’ve commented on your other videos & this one is interesting . Now that I think about it my dizziness started when I started wearing my glasses more . That being said o still have dizziness upon certain head movements, but it seems most of the time it’s in visual rich environments , Costco , Walmart ect … I’ve been cleared of all other diseases. But there’s no doubt a visual aspect to what I’m experiencing. I could literally feel ok then a certain head movement to look at something or I enter a store then boom I feel weird .
This is what i have. For 5 years now. Its ruined my life. I cant drive very well... highways are a big NO... i cant ride in a carwm with anyone. I cant walk down isles at stores... chagning positions in bed is rough... sometiems if i look down like if im cooking i get severe vertigo and its so bad that it lasts a while and i have to just hang on to something and close my eyes. I am supposed to wear prescribed glasses everyday but i dont ..and im looking into my phone screen alot everyday... i wonder if its eye strain? Ive been to a ENT doctor and got an MRI and saw a neurologist and they all found NOTHING... ive even stood up..looked at my phone for the time then looked back up and was hit with dizziness so bad it almost knocked me down... WHAT IS THAT??? The eply moves dont help..so i dont think its crystals in my ears.... i have symptoms of BPPV.. but idk... its like my eyes are to strianed or something. Life is twrrible now and id just assume die then to be tortured like this.
Hasram, you have described me perfectly. Mine has been going on for many years now too. Some symptoms started almost 20 years ago and have gradually gotten worse.
Im in a job that i just cant get out of and its really taking a toll on my mental health. Maybe thats the reason i feel like this for the past 3 weeks.
Thank you. I have been experiencing a balance issue for 3 1/2 years. In Jan of 2020 I went thru a very stressful financial issue with my husband which caused a huge mistrust issue. In a few days I lost hearing in one ear, starting having sight issues, and balance issues. I went to eye Dr, he said nothing is wrong with your eyes..you better see a chiropractor. Did that..he gave me 3 appointments of the epley maneuver. He than said you better go to your general Dr. He explained that I better see a neurologist. I have been to many Dr's since and they all ran tests and said yes there is a problem. I've had 2 MRIs and neck CT scan. All were normal thank god. Still balance issues. Eyes get bad when things are busy, like looking for a certain item on shelf. I have had vertigo off and on with this balance problems. I have been to many specialists with no success. A friend turned me on to your utube sessions and you are hitting the nail on the head. Please help.

I have been doing alot of these exercises, for 3 years. But I am having issues with some of the advanced stuff. I still can not close my eyes and stay upright. I use to ride horses for hours daily before my mva. Now my brain goes haywire when I try to ride. No one has been able to help me with this. I also use to be very outdoors and did alot of fishing. And now can not be in a boat. Without becoming sea sick. Large crowds still make me feel off balance. I keep being told that my eyes are perfectly fine and so are my ears.
I certainly wish that I knew about this kind of thing before my doctor put me on benzos 22 years ago getting off of them five years ago was hell and still as hell. All that probably stems from nothing but a inner ear infection or vision problems however, I was diagnosed with anxiety and the medication only need the anxiety worse crippling me for years costing me my career. And so much more. I went from running marathons, and being an active mom to not leaving the house for almost a year.
You are so awesome doing these videos for everybody. What a lovely, kind soul you are ❤ Do you think that scrolling up and down so much on smart phones (etc) might be contributing to people's dizziness/mdds etc..? Ie is it messing with our eyes/brain?
Aw, thank you Louise! It is incredibly fulfilling to me to know that what I'm doing matters and that I can help people with these bits of information. I'm sure that smart phones and screens aren't helping, but the visual stress is not the main problem IMO- it's everything that comes with it.. the stress of polarizing social media, global news, seeing stories of other people being hurt, societal pressure to always be connected and "on," etc
Yes- flourescent lights and electronics. I just gotta take a break from the computer screen and wear clip on lenses. I'm better off not around a ton and ton of people like in Wal-Mart..so I go there early in the morning. I used to see blotches over my eyes during my childhood and ended up vomitting..then I'd feel better. I'd also faint alot as a child if I was in an uncomfortable atmosphere. There never happens more because it's controlled with anxiety med, a chiropractor, therapy, and my clip on lenses to go over my glasses. Great video :)
Some of us are born with brains that are particularly good at responding to danger- and they're more prone to making errors. Glad you enjoyed this, Mark did an amazing job of explaining his story.
Hi Dr. Yo. We're at our wit's end and about to sign up for your course. Before we do, I'd like to know if you've ever heard of a case where both people in a household get dizziness (that won't go away for the past month) at the same time? We both woke up with it one day and although it wanes (some decent days, some bad days) it won't go away. We've done the MRIs, ENTs, GPs, Physical Therapy (SO MANY EPLEYS) and even had the house checked for environmental factors (it's a new house). All have come up with nothing. We are now doing eye exercises 3X/day. Long question short: Any reason you might know of why two people would get this at the same time? BTW, thank you so much for the work you do. Your bring us (and so many others) a great sense of hope!
Hi Rob, wow, so sorry you’re experiencing that. I have seen this a couple times and yes of course my first suspicion is always something environmental or contagious. However I do know a few couples with neural circuit dizziness and I suspect that their nervous systems are impacting each other. Our systems naturally co-regulate so when someone is not regulated, the other person can suffer as well. Again very sorry this is happening. Please take the course!!! It is completely free so there is really nothing to lose.
Thank you, Dr. Yo. I thought the same thing, but great to hear you agree. I have taken much of the course and am now watching your interview with Vanessa and working with your Somatic video. Thank you again for your help and kindness. @@TheSteadyCoach
Thank you so much. I’ve watched so many of your videos over the last two months, and I’m 90% better from a sudden unexplained chronic dizziness after a panic attack. But I still can’t look at my laptop for more than a few minutes without getting dizzy. Should I just practice exposure and use it more and more?
Love your show and your technique I recently had vestibular neuronitis and I’m having trouble with my balance can you please help me out with some of your techniques thank youuuuu!!!!
Hi Dr. Yo! I was wondering what to do about scrolling on phones, Netflix, or computers. For me they are very triggering, but what is the best way to train your brain to adapt to them again. I feel nauseous if I even scroll once.
Hi, What about dizzyness/pppd symptoms coming from *fear* of getting a vestibular disorder? I got a burn out 5 years ago and after that I developed all pppd symptoms. I'm burned out because of this. Thing is: when I lowered stress and lowered my school level, all the symptoms went away because stress lowered and my focus shifted. What is your conclusion dr. ? I'd love to hear from you. Thanks! :)
Fear plays a big role here- but I always wonder why someone gets scared at a certain time in his or her life. You mention that it happened 5 years ago but now you’re worried about it happening again- if that fear has suddenly ramped up, there may be other things in your life that are bothering you.
@@TheSteadyCoach there indeed are. I'm working on my mental health, and had alot of unhealthy behaviours in general. School always going for A++...always thinking about what others would think.
I so appreciate your channel! I've been dealing with dizziness for about 3 years now. I am an albino, therefore legally blind, and have always had nystagmus, but apparently lately that has gotten different. I'm 58 and this is the first time I've ever had disequilibrium issues. So now I'm wondering if the fact that my eyes have changed might be what's causing my vertigo? And if so, is it still possible for me to retrain my brain? Or LOL am I just out of luck? Eye doctor says there is nothing in my eyes that should be causing my nystagmus to be different, so I was thinking that that was happening because of the disequilibrium maybe? Any thoughts? We are fearfully and wonderfully made and it is sometimes difficult to figure out what is causing what. So glad I found your channel!
Hi!!! Wow, this is an interesting question and I appreciate you asking it. It seems like there might be a little more potentially “biological cause” leading to your situation than the average person on my channel, but let me reassure you that eye and vision exercises are almost never needed for people with neural circuit dizziness. Even if the disequilibrium has a biological component, your brain still has to interpret those signals to produce symptoms of dizziness. If there is any contribution of “danger mode,” it’s going to make the symptoms much worse. It would be really good to get vestibular testing done so you know if there is a medical reason for any of it, but there is no harm and only benefit from working on stress and distress to keep your nervous system from freaking out excessively no matter what.
Thank you fir the vid. Could you please drop some links to other excersizes gor visual dizziness? Or just key words so we could search for on your channel. I remenber there was one vid with cards but I can't find it now. Thanks.
Thank you I have lost my life with this I tell worse doing the exercises waiting on mri brain cervical and mri IAM results to rule out anything else I have anxiety for 27 years has this for 26 years 😊
I am very sorry to hear you’re going through this. For the record, I don’t see length of time as a reason why you can’t recover. One of our community members just recovered after 21 years.
@@TheSteadyCoach so my mri brain mri IAM and MRI cervical are all clear so out down to pppd I am going to work through your videos as anxiety is setting it off and vice versa
Hi there, there is a full vestibular rehab example program in my free course at members.thesteadycoach.com. I am also working on a full exercise library and that will be part of the private community on there.
this totally explain why when I was doing VRT based on eye and head movement (eyes open), I felt ok. But when I played VR, where I ended up with 2 weeks constant dizziness and nausea. My brain could not interpret the other signals (feet and inner ear) and fully dependend on eyes. Eyes were getting very odd information with the VR games, and it created issues. At least this is what I think.
I just came across your video and it is so helpful. I have just begun my journey with Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy. I mostly wear contact lenses (Monovision…meaning one lens for reading and one lens for distance). I have done this for over 10 years and my brain adapted and it worked well for me. But now that I am doing this therapy for VOR, I feel it is counterproductive to my healing that each eye is corrected differently for different functions. Do you think it is correct to think this way? I was told not to wear my progressive eyeglasses while performing the exercises so I am doing them with just single distance vision only glasses. Also, do you think that my monovision contacts may have caused my issue to begin with? I just want to be sure I’m performing the exercises while seeing properly and not impair my healing in any way. Thank you for your videos. Very helpful. Hoping to see improvement soon so I can get my life back on track.
Hi Yonit you are so kind to provide all of this information to people. Been going through all of your videos, as I had a concussion four years ago now. Since then I have had trouble consistently with the same issues. Slight dizziness/off balance feeling and a left sided intense headache. They always come together. Been through general vestibular rehab, neck physio, MRI the works. It is triggered sometimes by how I look down at my phone or while on my computer. Do you think it can it be possible this is vision related specifically? Im so tired of going through new physios and exercise plans at this stage so wanted to see what you think. Thanks so much
To me what you're experiencing sounds like neural circuit dizziness that was originally set off by the concussion. It often manifests in vision issues and visual symptoms but not because anything is structurally wrong with the eyes.
Thank you for that suggestion Yonit, I have never come across that condition before. Yes I had an eye test last week which came back all good. So there is def some miscommunication happening with my visual and vestibular system. @@TheSteadyCoach
Thank you for the video. Really interesting. Unfortunately, I couldn't differentiate between the floor, your clothing or the block. Which were all black. Do you have a another video with those exercises?
YES. But I think using the term anxiety is not exactly correct. I prefer thinking that the anxiety and dizziness are coming from the nervous system being in “danger mode”
I had cataract surgery and the new lenses corrected my life long astigmatism and I have amazing distance sight as never before. About four months later I began to experience auras, dizziness, nausea and anxiety. The auras have disappeared but the dizziness and nausea and some anxiety still remain. I have had brain mri's and CT scan and heart studies and nothing shows as possible causes. Would it be reasonable to suspect that these symptoms could be the brains response to changes in the visual stimuli from the corrective surgery?
@@jananee9311 Oh the MRI was no problem. It doesn't hurt at all and if you just relax and close your eyes the only thing you will notice is the fairly loud weird plonking noises. Think of your self as a caterpillar in a cocoon The best advise I can give is stay curious and just have a giggle at how weird it sounds. The idea that came to me is that it sounds like a Star War's Jazz band.😄 I'm not claustrophobia but if you are reassure yourself that the technicians do not want a body on their hands. It's too much paper work.😄 I have had 4 and every time the people were very kind and compassionate. They also give you a button so you can signal them if you are feeling overwhelmed so you aren't 'trapped' at all.

I also developed visual vertigo after cataract surgery. My vision is fine but my brain has not adjusted. Walking in a grocery store was impossible at first but I am continuing to do head-eye movement exercises whirl I walk and they seem to help.
There was a link for exercises with the eyes with playing cards for Saccades... When I went to come back to it I couldn't find it. Does anyone have that available that can post below?
These are great balance exercises, I'll definitely be trying them. Any tips for issues when walking when it's dark? Would it be beneficial to practice walking in the dark (with a safe environment naturally) to help? I find that the floor feels more bouncy/ unstable when I have to get up in the middle of the night (kids) and wondering if there is anything else you recommend with that. Thanks again!
Sure, Darcee, practicing walking in the dark can help. I’m actually going to have a video out soon with some proprioceptive exercises that can help with this too.
I get a dropping sensation ,holding a mobile and the reflection moves its spins me our ,that and shadows and glass panes ,fridge door gets me alk the time ,moving trees
Would you consider balance and gaze exercises as part of VRT? I know you say VRT does not work for pppd patients but just want to know what you think .
I do, but balance exercises in particular can be part of any sensible exercise routine. I’m not against any specific exercise, I just don’t want them to be used as a blunt force instrument to solve a problem that is neural circuit.
I feel everything shaking when I go to job , building everything shaking and body balance problem is also there when I stand on one leg with close eyes. When I look myself in the mirror . I feel everything shaking like room behind me. Please help me with rehab to cope with it . iam in more than 15 months.
Hi, I recently got married and through out the courtship period with so many things changing in life and too much travel etc, I have felt mild dizziness all the time, not the spinning kind but an uncomfortable feeling of movement within the body. Also what you have described as marshmallow walking in one of the videos happens on and off to me, more so when I'm sleep deprived or when I am in malls or big showrooms. I've also noticed that sometimes when I eat something (nothing specific) I feel lightheaded or like I'm about to pass out for about like 8-10 seconds and then get normal again which generally happens when I'm already fearing too much that this symptoms might happen when I will take the bite. How do I control it? Please help.
Hi there, first step is to have a medical work up to make sure there is no physical cause, after that, take the course, it is free and explains this from top to bottom. thesteadycoach.com/free-course
Hi Dr. Arthur. Great video. And thanks for all of your videos. They're great. It sounds like Visual Vertigo, PPPD and Derealization share many common symptoms. I'm trying to get to the bottom of my own situation after blowing my nose (ear instantly plugged, for a month), then putting hydrogen peroxide in my ear and getting brief vertigo (20 sec), followed by instant Tinnitus (I know... very bizarre series of events). A week later I started experiencing all of the symptoms of VV, DR and PPPD. Been 5 months now. I've seen world-renowned experts. Most are useless. It hasn't been fun. Any ideas/suggestions? Much appreciated, thanks!
Hi my symptoms aren't as severe as others mine is more of a floating sensation or as im walking on a cloud at times. When im driving I'm fine and moving but at can come on suddenly when im inside a grocery store. I have not been able to find a diagnosis, MRI of course came out fine. I started doing deep neck flexor exercises, watching your videos and seems to gradually getting better, my question really is the symptoms i have has anyone ever described it as floating i only ever hear swaying or dizziness
I find when I am at the grocery store and I am looking at products it makes me very dizzy, watching tv also can cause me to feel dizzy or even reading can cause dizziness.
Not sure if your still checking these comments, but i find my biggest trigger is scrolling on my phone and computers! Would this be considered visual vertigo? I have mostly zaps of dizziness that last a few seconds. Makes my brain feel shaken. It started 2 years ago after an incident of BPPV. Went away for over a year, and came back about 10 months ago. I'm waiting for a brain CT next month. I am limiting my phone use alot, but my job is all computer work, so that makes it very difficult. Do you think this could still be from the BPPV?
I found your videos and they are so beneficial, since my symptoms seem to be vision related. I researched Binocular vision disorder, and it seems like that’s what I may have. However, have you had patients that test positive for bvd and the glasses still don’t help? Thank you for your help.
So the qualifications to be my mentor from here on is having ripped arms. Youre incredible!! Thank you!
Aww, thank you!
You're very welcome! I am so glad that this video helped!

Thank You for all of your content, and especially the free information on how to heal your dizziness.
You're very welcome, Jeff!
thank you for explaning all the components in many different ways so i can understand. ive been having vertigo daily. for 2 weeks. i was dx pppd and meniers, having trouble figuring things out. i did have vetibular pt which helped me most with the visual pppd issues. it was a god send and something that gave me my life back. now just having vertigo spells daily, i almost feel like its cervicogenic because of tension in neck n back of head. God bless you.
Same here! I believe my symptoms, dizziness, fatigue are from my cervical instability, Esp since I’ve had a head, brain & neck ct come back “ normal” say’s degenerative changes in neck
12:00 on she leads to the exercises for helping balance & perception. Great information all through video.
Yes! Same here. I was driving home in the dark and had to stop and have my husband take over. It’s gotten worse.
Fantastic vid to explain how the hypo function of one sense is mitigated by hyper function of another! Really resonates. Thank you so much. ‘Looking into the fridge’ is like an extreme sport for me!

This is an excellent video. I have this regularly. I’ve wondered if stress is part of it, so I’m relieved to hear it is.
I am so glad that you are going to take the course, Nicholas! Thank you for trusting me with your healing!
I'm suffering from PPPD too. How are you addressing it??
Thank you will try the exercises ,its better now for the first time.
God bless you.
You're very welcome, Aspasia!

You have the best explanation I've heard and touch on so many unknown points.
Awesome, so glad it made sense to you!

Thank you so much dr.yonit..you are a great help..may God bless you always

Thank you so much. I have been suffering from PPPD for 1.5 years and what's really bothering me is watching TV and working on my computers . Any tips on which exercise to focus on? Thank you so much, you're really a Gem !
I would start with head and eye movement type exercises (I have a whole written course on my website) but starting with still backgrounds on screens, then ones that are not moving but are "busy" (patterns and shapes), then progressing to some of the ones in the video description. My favorite one is the head shake exercises I show in this video because it challenges your whole vestibular system.
Great video, as usual. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on why some of us develop a stiff neck.
Because your atlas may be off-- upper cervical instablility-- the ligaments are too loose-- Look up Caring Medical--- Phenomenal Information

O
Are you now? Are you feeling better?
Ok so I’ve commented on your other videos & this one is interesting . Now that I think about it my dizziness started when I started wearing my glasses more . That being said o still have dizziness upon certain head movements, but it seems most of the time it’s in visual rich environments , Costco , Walmart ect … I’ve been cleared of all other diseases. But there’s no doubt a visual aspect to what I’m experiencing. I could literally feel ok then a certain head movement to look at something or I enter a store then boom I feel weird .
It’s so common to have these visual triggers with dizziness!
Thank you so much for offering this to people. God bless you. 🙏

Do you think that scrolling up and down so much on smart phones (etc) might be contributing to people's dizziness/mdds etc..? Ie is it messing with our eyes/brain?
Aw, thank you Louise! It is incredibly fulfilling to me to know that what I'm doing matters and that I can help people with these bits of information. I'm sure that smart phones and screens aren't helping, but the visual stress is not the main problem IMO- it's everything that comes with it.. the stress of polarizing social media, global news, seeing stories of other people being hurt, societal pressure to always be connected and "on," etc

How do I go with dizziness is shopping centres when I work in one
@@TheSteadyCoach in your opinion does this sound like photophobia or panic attack, or both
Hi Dr.

Can needing reading glasses cause imbalance in small space and close up visual stimuli like opening a cabinet. Are the eyes struggling to focus?
@@TheSteadyCoach Thank you so much!

Can this also cause constant head pressure and mental instability symptoms?
Unfortunately, I
couldn't differentiate between the floor, your clothing or the block. Which were all black. Do you have a another video with those exercises?
I do not unfortunately, please consider using a different device, others have not mentioned this problem.
Thanks so much for the video. The feeling off of balance can be caused by anxiety?
YES. But I think using the term anxiety is not exactly correct. I prefer thinking that the anxiety and dizziness are coming from the nervous system being in “danger mode”
Hello I've been watching your videos. I still have not seen the symptom of heart palpitations with pppd or visual vertigo. Any info on that ?
Totally a symptom- directly related to fight/flight/danger mode response.
Yes!! And you are not alone!! I have seen others with this exact issue!
Thank you for you reply. ❤I am not living in USA. Do you have any advice for the next steps for me to seek out treatment.@@TheSteadyCoach
How did you get through the MRI any tips ?
@@heatherh3457 Thanks again for taking time to reply me, it means so much to have someone to share these tips. I will keep you posted if i improve 🫶🏽🫂🫂🫂
I had a catract cut one year ago have another one to cut but i see a dizzyness in my eyes what can i do dont know if the old glass causig this thank you
I also developed visual vertigo after cataract surgery. My vision is fine but my brain has not adjusted. Walking in a grocery store was impossible at first but I am continuing to do head-eye movement exercises whirl I walk and they seem to help.
On the second set of exercises, do you still use the card tracking but on one foot?
Nicely explained
There was a link for exercises with the eyes with playing cards for Saccades... When I went to come back to it I couldn't find it.
Does anyone have that available that can post below?
I'm not sure where you saw this, Susie! Sorry :( maybe you mean my original PPPD video? ruclips.net/video/54P_zcxd0oU/видео.html
This is actually a good one 😊
I have that 😢is this curable? I also feel tension in my eyes 😢
I get a dropping sensation ,holding a mobile and the reflection moves its spins me our ,that and shadows and glass panes ,fridge door gets me alk the time ,moving trees
I’m sorry you’re going through that!
Jaspal, have you seen my course? It’s completely free and I walk you through how to manage dizziness step by step. members.thesteadycoach.com
This is so incredibly helpful. Thank you!
Hi Dr.
Hi Rob, assuming all medical issues have been ruled out, all my advice is condensed into the course. It is 100% free. thesteadycoach.com/free-course

it's been 7 months now...how are you now? any improvement you experienced?
Hi my symptoms aren't as severe as others mine is more of a floating sensation or as im walking on a cloud at times. When im driving I'm fine and moving but at can come on suddenly when im inside a grocery store. I have not been able to find a diagnosis, MRI of course came out fine. I started doing deep neck flexor exercises, watching your videos and seems to gradually getting better, my question really is the symptoms i have has anyone ever described it as floating i only ever hear swaying or dizziness

Pors..mine started this way but it got worse over time.
I find when I am at the grocery store and I am looking at products it makes me very dizzy, watching tv also can cause me to feel dizzy or even reading can cause dizziness.
Yes, this makes sense
So helpful. Thank you
You're so welcome!
Many thanks for this video
You are so welcome, Andrew!
If the BPPV is resolved, you can keep an”neural circuit” that causes these symptoms to stick around.
I found your videos and they are so beneficial, since my symptoms seem to be vision related. I researched Binocular vision disorder, and it seems like that’s what I may have. However, have you had patients that test positive for bvd and the glasses still don’t help? Thank you for your help.
BVD is a normal abnormality that exists in many people in the general population and is not responsible for these symptoms.
Hi can I get your book etc . In the UK .John
