RRRockfrog ummagumma doesnt deserve the stick it gets. This album completely embodies the 60's. Hard rocking, experimental, psychedelic and trippy...it is the perfect 60's album.

Finally some love for Ummagumma! I think it's one of Floyds best album. Piper or Saucerful are my favorite records. Dark Side is a masterpiece. WYWH had some good songs. Animals was good. The Wall sucks so badly I hate it. The last three albums wasn't even Pink Floyd.

Well, I just listened to a few songs (fragments of songs) from their first 2 albums on RUclips for the "very" first time (never heard about them before) and it sounded good enough to me !! I' m more selective about Progressive Rock music but I think there' s something different (something more) about their music that I find pleasant to listen to !!! Think I' ll listen to more songs by that band in the coming days !!!
I love The final cut, the lyrics are so precise, like a knife going right into your heart. It is just a totally different atmosphere. Every Floyd album has a different atmosphere and has a little something from the album before, but still has something completely new. Obscured by clouds has a bit of Dark side, Dark side a bit of Whish you, Whish you à bit of Animals, Animals some The Wall and Te Wall some The final cut. Starting from The piper at the gates of dawn they all were similar, but constantly changing, that is why this band is never boring. The final cut is a requiem and I think tat the atmosphere fits it perfectly, also Waters voice back then was very nice. Where are you from? I would guess from a country we're the H is mute, France?

I like "The Division bell" !! Compared to "Momentary laps of reason", "The division bell" sounds more accomplished and it also sounds more like a "team effort" (which I like) compared to the previous album !!! The band also released here a concept album (which was a great progression) rather than a collection of songs !!! Thanks Radmond !!!
