Respectful words while you reviewed.. I personally was a FANATIC as a small child. I was 7 when they had the reunion in 1996 and I was obsessed! I would have ranked them chronologically, stopped at Dynasty, then add in Psycho Circus then Revenge and Carnival. I got the albums from the 80s that had music videos because they were shown in KISS Exposed in 92… my hindsight KISS list is so different then as a child. I’m strict on eras. #1-3 is 1973-1975 #4-5 is December 1992 - 1995(carnival included) #6-10 is 1976-1979 then #11 is Creatures cause the two prior flopped #12 is hot in the shade because they had a VHS in 92 where Eric Carrs passing lead into that music video Forever.. also smashes thrashes and hits doesn’t fit and I fit that sound with hot in the shade so the two songs are part of hot in the shade to me.. #13 Psycho Circus for production value #14 Elder did NOT validate the Unmasked flop. Good now but too ridiculous. 15-24 the rest. Vinnie Vincent somehow made that face paint look cool but…Eric Carr is now questionable for me cause stupid Eddy Trunk needs to stretch every molecule of tension into public domain. Sorry to rant here hahaha it does help the anguish of a fan! Glad to see you hung through!

Mines the same! Regatta De Blanc and Outlandos D’Amour can switch for me, because I like more of the songs on Regatta. The good songs on Outlandos usually hit harder though, so it’s #1

I would rank Good Times a little higher. Its a modern record that sounds as good as their first 5 releases . Really Good songs they even play some of the instruments.

One of my favorits is, "Pleasant dreams". I even sang in a song that I made, "I had my pleasent dreams", I was singing aswell, "Haunted dreams". But I was singing about my nightmares, but I still had my "Pleasent dreams", ironicaly... by my favorit band ever. I would rank em all... 1-4 - 10 5-14 - mediocre, but still always good songs. And thats whats funny, even a bad Ramones album, is a pretty good album... New band make more anal-slusch then this.

Love you ranking in general. It's nice to see some love to The Elder. It's hard for me to understand the hate. Especially when the principal argument is "it doesn't sound like a Kiss album". Très bonne liste, excepté que pour ma part, Kiss heavy, j'adore. Je les ai découvert à 11 ans dans les années 80, au moment de Creatures. Puis Lick it Up est sorti. J'adore Eric Carr. Et contrairement à beucoup de monde, j'adore Animalize. L'album est sorti au moment de mon plus grand amour pour Kiss. Rock albums the Beatles? Maybe pop is better. Rock is another thing. Songs like and i love her are rock music? In 1965 there were the who, animals, sonics, Butterfield ecc.

BEST 3: HEAD, HEADQUARTERS and JUSTUS. Least interesting/crassly commercial: The first 2 (with some exceptions) . Worst cover(s) almost all of them. Seems like---with the exception of HEAD and PAC&J----they never put much effort into their albums' visual presentation. Who or what in the world inspired anyone to call one of their albums THE BIRDS, THE BEES AND THE MONKEES? The only thing worse than that?----the cover "art". Just an opinion that may be out of sync with general consensus. Or not.

1 - High Hopes (definitely the best song on the album) 2 - What Do You Want From Me? 3 - Cluster One 4 - Marooned 5 - Keep Talking That's the best I can do. I really don't listen to this album enough to do a Top 10 ranking but those 5 are for sure the best songs on the album in my personal opinion.

I'ma have to defend Songs of Innocence real quick. I don't think any of the songs on that album are bad but it has songs that it could've done without. I think it got too much hate because they sold it to apple and apple gave it to people for free. I love it because it's obviously a very personal album for Bono (via. Cedarwood Road, Iris (Hold Me Close), Raised by Wolves, Song For Someone, and surprisingly California (There is No End to Love)) and the songs that weren't personal are still beautiful such as Every Breaking Wave and Volcano. I just feel it gets too much hate and deserves better than what it gets. Also Songs of Experience could go up a space or 2 aswell because I love Lights of Home and The Blackout aswell as all the other obvious great songs like Get Out of Your Own Way or The Little Things That Give You Away.

D TIER: 14. Songs of Experience- A genuinely bad release. U2 has completely lost the plot sonically and even more-so in their messaging. 13. Rattle and Hum- Musically, this album has some good songs, but it is a conceptual failure. C TIER 12. How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb- Decent album with some good songs, yet too derivative of their mid-80s work. 11. Boy: Inspired and driving, this album would be higher but for its under-produced songs, which is natural of a band that began like U2 did. 10. No Line on The Horizon- Underrated. The only truly dark U2 project. This album makes a poignant aural projection of battling depression, addiction, heartbreak or whatever else brought U 2 your moment of surrender ;). C tier bc a quarter of the songs are awful. B TIER: 9. Songs of Innocence- A genuine creative reflection ranked this high bc of the gem "Sleep Like a Baby Tonight." 8. October- Very underrated: The songs Fire, October, and Tomorrow are very raw and sonically unique within the U2 catalog. 7. Pop- Over-hated/ MASSIVELY underrated on a musical level. Some of their most creative, well-crafted work that suffered from a botched rollout, much like SOI. A TIER: 6. The Joshua Tree: Their biggest album and one of their best. Half the songs bore me. "Bullet the Blue Sky" is a U2 gem. 5. War: A slick, new wave, post punk masterpiece that defines their early sound. New Years Day is a top 5 U2 track. 4. All That You Can't Leave Behind- Not as much of a return to form as is commonly believed. While conceptually earnest and uplifting, this album carries over U2's 90s electronic sensibilities and blends it with turn-of-the-century europop and a dash of hard rock. Tasty. S TIER: 3. Zooropa- U2 at its most experimental. A grammy-winning alternative album that is an electronic synth-heaven and gorgeous front-to-back. 2. The Unforgettable Fire- Quintessential U2. Carrying the vehemence of their first 3 albums but with the contributions of Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno. Concise, beautiful, and masterfully written, recorded, and produced. 10/10 1. Achtung Baby- This is one of the best albums ever made in the history of popular music. Pushing themselves into austere territory both musically and conceptually, U2 utilize their sound to its fullest potential. An exhilarating and fulfilling ride all the way through. "Even Better than The Real Thing is probably the best U2 song ever.
