We complained about the old business class so they gave us every type of seat we can dream of. 💀
And when they are starting with those new seats in C-class?
great seeing you here tiezheng!
The first Airplane A350 (DAIXT) gos into service for LH on 1st of May to Vancouver and will then switch between the 2 destinations Vancouver and Toronto. The second new A350 with Allegris will arrive next month adding then Chicago and Montreal. As soon as LH has 5 planes with Allegris, which will probably be the case around August this year, destinations like PVG and SFO are rumored to follow.
@@giyaed thank you for the info
How many different types of seats do you have? LH: YES! 😂
The most important information is missing: when will be the new business class available in all planes
I don't know when ALL planes will offer the new seats, but this heavily depends on how fast LH will get their ordered airplanes from Airbus and especially Boing. For Airbus, the 1st new A350 with Allegris (DAIXT) was delivered this month, to be followed by 1 every month this year and 2 per month starting next year. At least for Munich. The 15 B789 Dreamliner with Allegris were supposed to arrive in 2024 but are now delayed yet again. Same goes for the 20 B777X which are already years delayed and are now supposedly scheduled to arrive in 2025. Of course, LH will also replace the seats of its older aircrafts currently in service, but this means that they will have to be taken out of service for at least 4-6 weeks to convert the entire cabin. Therefore, this will only happen gradually and will take time.
Give them 5 more years to retrofit all of the planes, including the newer A350s which were delivered with the old style seats.
Selling an old product with an average service to a high price makes it unattractive to me traveling with them. Running late with the new product, taking ages to introduce it on the new fleet, and selling better seats for extra money makes it not better but worse to me. I will choose other carriers whenever it’s possible. Also, I do not like the arrogant attitude of this product Lauch campaign.
The german accent is so real haha
Jeez. What a charming a video. Can't be more German than this.
That guy’s soul is on permanent holidays 😂
I think not having doors on all the seat offerings is a misstep. I think in the future, non-doored business classes will be ubiquitous with outdated business classes. In the same vein we currently view 2-2-2 configured business classes, but that's just my opinion.
The various categories are also too confusing!
I was on BA’s business suites recently, great product but it does make you feel quite lonely. I’d pick the open seats over the suite even if there was no price difference
Think you probably meant synonymous, not ubiquitous
You can have great privacy even without doors, but it seems like at least some of the seats have quite low walls and are exposed. I’ve got to say if this is their brand new top of the line seat, and has taken 7 years from announcement to get out, they better announce the next generation soon 😅 Jokes aside these just look already a bit dated, and looking at competitors these don’t really stand out, and the individualism feels more like a gimmick, which will most likely be used to price the ”better” seats higher. I hope I am wrong tho and these turn out to be amazing, but to me it doesn’t seem like they anything special for now. Of course compared to the old seats pretty much anything would be an improvement, these included.
Why don't you just install standard seats? The biggest joke will be if you really are gonna retrofit the lower deck of the 747-8 with the new business class but keep the old business class in the upper deck as you can't install those Allegris seats in the upper deck.
While having so many different seat types may be fine in theory I can see that the Lufthansa experience will be inconsistent and some annoyed passengers that miss out on their preferred seat type. Imagine a 6,4 passenger missing out on the long seat only to see a small person sitting there when they board. The jury’s out in my mind.
The seat heating and cooling with finally personal air control is the best part.
I’m starting to think all these large 27” screen are eventually going to have the Times Square effect. It’s never dark.
The 27'' screens will be only in the business class suite, all other seats have smaller screen
Of course. How could a 27” TV ever fit in Economy class?
@@jhelinski there are five different business class seats, only the business class suite will have the 27'' screen. The other four types of business class seats have smaller screens. Even the guy in the video said that the screens go up to 27'' inches in business class
Lufthansa! looks amazing, what are the chances for me getting a free ticket to test the new allegris business class?
Pfffff why can t they offer a universal good c class product for all passengers instead of 5 different options ???
Lufthansa always makes mistakes with their C class choices. Every single time
Hard to listen to…
Price differences?
We hear since years from Allegris, but currently I will just believe on it, when I see it in an airplane. The next suprise will be the avalabilities of different seats in the most of booked flights.
The fact that LH would put this guy to speak on camera to sell their new products is alarming
it took you 7 years to come up with this hoshposh of seats. disappointing
I feel like airlines should eventually stop trying to introduce a new product with a new plane. This being an example
These seats look amazing! What planes and what routes these will be available? Also when?
Why not have bigger tables for meals? These tables look really small for such big space. Hopefully, this is an easy fix.
May 01 will be the entry into service. D-AIXT is the only one outfitted and will fly to YVR starting in may. All new 787 and A350’s will have allegris. The existing A350’s and 747-8’s will be refitted.
@@peterdemeyer6434 YVR, Really? Who makes these decisions? Anyways, have avoided flying Lufthansa due to their terrible seat. Many better airlines with better seats to fly. Hopefully, the new seat will be refitted and more routes are available soon.
Starting 1st of May Vancouver with Toronto. The second new A350 with Allegris will arrive next month adding then Chicago and Montreal. As soon as LH has 5 new A350 with Allegris, which will probably be the case around August this year, destinations like PVG and SFO are rumored to follow.
@@giyaed Thank you! I'll travel ONLY when they start the routes to SFO with A350 Allergis.
What about a noise canceling Baby box? 😅
I love this concept ❤
Way too many categories --- you can't please everyone, and yet they are trying.
Always a day late and a dollar short.
How loing untill we can see the changes?
About as long as it takes for you to learn to spell!
@@ALFOONUS Keyboard warrior. long* until*. Satisfied kid?
The first A350 aircraft (DAIXT) will enter service on May 1 from Munich for LH to Vancouver and will then alternate between the two destinations Vancouver and Toronto. The second new A350 with Allegris will arrive in Munich next month and will then fly to Chicago and Montreal. Once LH has 5 aircraft with Allegris, which is expected to be in August of this year, destinations such as PVG and SFO are rumored to follow. In Frankfurt, it depends on how many years Boing delays the deliveries of the 15 B789 Dreamliners and the B777X, as the 20 B777X were actually due to enter service starting 2020! and the 15 B787 Dreamliners in 2024...
@@giyaed Thank you!
🥰🥰🥰🥰
10 years too late, completely chaotic roll-out strategy. It's just not a premium airline anymore, rather an airline to avoid
Pay more for more comfort even when flying business !!! So unconvincing.
What a mess and disappointment. The entire hyper-differentiated concept is ridiculous, hard to work with in case of irrops, and bound to make business class travellers like me unhappy. Especially if all seats beyond standard seats will carry a steep fee for choosing them. The delayed execution - this product was announced back in 2017 and only now a first plane will take off - has made Lufthansa a laughing stock of the entire aviation industry. The product is a generation behind competition and by the unspecified time in the very late 2020s when all LH planes are fitted out with Allegris, LH will be even more behind of competition.
Billion dollars global insight - Monetise as real life, movie, anime, TV drama and thesis to max profits and charity donations. Billionaire bought all the economy seats except the business class and first class seats so he can have more quiet and peace to himself (reduce risks of rowdy passengers).
That will not change the fact , that Lufthansa become a crapy airline with bad service , badly served food and a horrible millage system. They will have a heavy issue with thier business seat reservations as their are too many possible seat combinations .. prices will increase for their "new" classes and they will not get their five star rating back. They just spoiled it with their Senators and Hons in the past years, we are already with other Airlines and Aliances and we get treated better than ever with LH..
Hate this concept of different seat options
Complete mess! Very uncharacteristic for Germans
What a mess. Geez. Really.
