    Billion dollars global insight - Monetise as real life, movie, anime, TV drama and thesis to max profits and charity donations.     This dude is basically showing and demonstrating (by having to seat crossed in Economy) that the economy cabin is absolutely ridiculous for people over 1,90m tall… Sorry to say this, but LHG (except for Swiss and AUA) is absolutely foolish for long distance flights…

    U should see and try the headsets given in premium class! Foodservice everything is worse than most economy classes including business class with no mattress cover and cold served breakfast.

    Why don't you just install standard seats? The biggest joke will be if you really are gonna retrofit the lower deck of the 747-8 with the new business class but keep the old business class in the upper deck as you can't install those Allegris seats in the upper deck.

      It won‘t be windowless and one suite is for one passenger, you just will have the possibility to invite another passenger during the flight.

      @@guybrush0075We are talking about the central seat, right? Which is certainly windowless. And their full intention is to sell this double seat to two pax traveling together. It is not possible to invite passengers from other classes to an F Suite.

      @@christophermueller1603 But you have noticed, all Allegris seats in this video are installed in a container without windows, for demonstration purposes. First class suites will be installed in a 1:1 configuration, there will be no centerseat and they will have windows for sure.

      Ah my bad, just seen, will be in 1-2-1 config and there will be a centerseat, designed with a double-bed, as a so called „honeymoon-suite“, didn‘t have it on my radar.

    Also auf den ersten Blick wirkt das alles sehr stimmig und modern. Aber warum soviele verschiedene Sitztypen? Wieso nimmt man sich kein Beispiel an anderen Airlines…die haben einen Sitztyp in 1-2-1 Bestuhlung zum Teil mit Tür für Privatsphäre. Und alle wären zufrieden. Jedem recht machen kann man es eh nicht. Auch Maintenance technisch sind zig Sitztypen sicher ein Horror und ein teurer Spass, alleine schon wegen viel mehr Ersatzteilen die man einkaufen muss. Bin gespannt auf die ersten Eindrücke von Passagieren und Testern.

    Very underwhelming for a first class seat. The 40 inch screen will be smaller than in business class if it is split into two halves when my partner wants to watch something else than I. If my partner sleeps and is closer to the door, how will get out to the restroom? Will this first class suite cost double of the other first class seats? Even if just one person sits there? I will rather fly SQ, AF, or EK in F anytime, as I have done frequently recently, than this in weird bunker that will take forever to install across the fleet.

    What a mess and disappointment. The entire hyper-differentiated concept is ridiculous, hard to work with in case of irrops, and bound to make business class travellers like me unhappy. Especially if all seats beyond standard seats will carry a steep fee for choosing them. The delayed execution - this product was announced back in 2017 and only now a first plane will take off - has made Lufthansa a laughing stock of the entire aviation industry. The product is a generation behind competition and by the unspecified time in the very late 2020s when all LH planes are fitted out with Allegris, LH will be even more behind of competition.

    While having so many different seat types may be fine in theory I can see that the Lufthansa experience will be inconsistent and some annoyed passengers that miss out on their preferred seat type. Imagine a 6,4 passenger missing out on the long seat only to see a small person sitting there when they board. The jury’s out in my mind.

      The first A350 aircraft (DAIXT) will enter service on May 1 from Munich for LH to Vancouver and will then alternate between the two destinations Vancouver and Toronto. The second new A350 with Allegris will arrive in Munich next month and will then fly to Chicago and Montreal. Once LH has 5 aircraft with Allegris, which is expected to be in August of this year, destinations such as PVG and SFO are rumored to follow. In Frankfurt, it depends on how many years Boing delays the deliveries of the 15 B789 Dreamliners and the B777X, as the 20 B777X were actually due to enter service starting 2020! and the 15 B787 Dreamliners in 2024...

    That will not change the fact , that Lufthansa become a crappy airline with bad service , badly served food and a horrible millage system. They will have a heavy issue with thier business seat reservations as their are too many possible seat combinations .. prices will increase for their "new" classes and they will not get their five star rating back. They just spoiled it with their Senators and Hons in the past years, we are already with other Airlines and Aliances and we get treated better than ever with LH..

      @@mstrmren Why is this unfair? I just compare similar airlines on identical routes (e.g. Tokio-Frankfurt) at comparable prices. And in economy, LH is unfortunately absolutely not competitive with their hard product vs ANA or JAL…
