The lid will automatically open once it naturally empties, I had the same issue. I've not yet tried to see if letting it cool down makes it open also, just got mine yesterday.
@@BAZFANSHOTHITSClassicTunes I'm sure the box or leaflet says there is 🤔, agree it's so ridiculously uncomfortable and difficult to use, I rarely use it because of this and will be replacing it with one with a lock ASAP, my old basic one had a lock wish I kept that one 😞 thank you for answering 😀
I cannot get the steam to come out. It heats up, I've de-scaled it and the button doesn't work!!
How the heck do you get the water tank top off, just keeps spinning 😩 also safety lock doesn't stay locked.

@@timhayward2455 yes I did, I am not stupid. It said wait 5 minutes before removing the cap it was more like 20 minutes before I could remove it!
Yeah I can't get mine off, only bad thing about it 🤦
@@KarenWilliams-ct5kf It does come off, but takes time, slowing down cleaning as you only get 2 minutes of steam. garbage

How do you use the safety lock to keep it on? I'm having to hold the button down for the duration :/
Theres no lock, its uncomfortable to use

This is extremely heavy , my wrist and thumb are unconfirmtable after using it

Total Rubbish. Have to wait 20 minutes before the lid finally unscrews to put more water in it.
I find the on button extremly hard to press. i have to punch it,, then use 2 hands to press down. 2 minutes if that off steam. Rubbish. DO NOT BUY
