I also do used it for my oven clean oven and it did a 60% job. I’m going to try to use a little bit of baking soda next time so far I am. Happy. Once complete chief complaint is it runs out of steam too quick.
So glad it worked for you! All I can think is that those windows were from 30+ years of the previous 2 owners having never wiped them out 😆 At least I’m assuming by how they looked. Thank you for this honest review. You just saved me $40. Razor blades, hot water & vinegar are my secret weapon for scraping off caked on crap in the oven.
Instruction booklet says to use cold water only as hot water could damage the heating element. Also recommends distilled or demilitarized water if your water is hard. Otherwise this is a great review of the Steam Shot.
Thank you! Yes! I did not see that on my instructions (mine said distilled water- I didn’t worry about it cause I knew it was just for the “build up” issue .. but I did not anything about the cold water) but I’ve been getting that comment a lot! So important to note
@@ChristinasHome do you have to use distilled water or ordinary tap water? Also can it be used to defrost a small fridge freezer ? The fridge freezer where the freezer compartment has a shelf in it? The sort of fridge freezer where the freezer box is above worktop level? Not a full sized freezer

@@marywoodard4241 I believe that is the case. It is shown in all the commercials as If it works like the Industrial steamers -all of the areas and ways I tried it in this video, was because that is how it was shown on commercials(and larger RUclips channels) as working very well on these things. But I now believe you do need more of an industrial level of stream to be able to clean things like this - with steam alone. This may help to lose things, but cleaners are needed in most cases.
Thank you!! I watched all those other tutorials where this thing worked great so I bought one. Did the exact same thing on the exact same areas and it did NOT work. Glad I wasn’t the only one.
This is a great honest review. I wish I has seen this BEFORE I bought the steam shot. I had high hopes for it cleaning soap scum off the shower, and it did not. :(
I love this video because it actually seems honest. I had tried using one of these after some videos claimed it was magic, and I was left with a bunch of disappointment. I will say though that it's great for hard plastic gunk on cars.
Honest review! I have used industrial steam plus pressure washer combo rigs used for heavy equipment. These companies think that making them smaller with less heat and pressure can do the job of their bigger cousins and yes steam can clean under the right conditions. My wife bought a shark brand steam cleaner years ago and basically I did the same thing you did and I was not impress. After it died tried a Bissell, same O.. The only way they "work" for me if you use it with chemicals and put some elbow grease into it.
THANK YOU FOR THIS! Omg I got mine a month ago and had the same results as you, I keep trying to use it and love it bc every single video I see has amazing things to say, but the things it cleans is just easier to clean with a quick wipe down. I was starting to think something was wrong with me lol
Did you wear a minesweeper suit when operating it? Coz I felt like wearing one when I used it the first time. This thing could does not feel like a solid device.
Great review!! I am not against using cleaners. I notice most home cleaning reviews use the steamer with no chemicals. When you watch car detail reviews, they seem to just want the best results so they use chemical cleaners and agitate the area then steam clean. Although this is a lengthy process I can see using the 2 steps before hitting it with the super hot steam seems a more realistic way to get great results. Do you feel that the old method of cleaning with cleaners and the addition of the steamer would give by far the best results or do you feel the steamer is redundant if you already are cleaning the old school way? Thank you,
Personally overall I was really disappointed in this machine, I was expecting it to be a chemical free way to clean - so I think it’s redundant to use it (in most applications) if you are using chemicals. The only thing I could say, is that if you are wanting to get out a tough stain out - I could see using chemicals and THEN the steamer as a good possibility. But overall I wouldn’t buy this again
I bought a Bissell steam shot yesterday for the most cleaning for the air fryer toaster oven and small cleaning around the house so far it got ride of 96% of the grease stains in the air fryer toaster oven.
Do you spray anything on the windowsill first? Because I’ve seen so many people say it worked on the windowsill, but it didn’t work for me and I was super disappointed!
@@ChristinasHome sometimes I do. If they’re really bad I’ll use mean green or totally awesome. I try not to let them get that bad but let’s be real... lol. It’s not the end all be all for me. But it does help. And I like that it sanitizes.
@@kathyclarke5899 okay! I’m going to try my La’s totally awesome on it! Thank you! Mine are really bad because they were bad when I moved in & ive been too overwhelmed to tackle them because nothing I’ve tried works well 🙈🙈I love the sanitizing feature for sure! Thank you for your help! :))
Thank you so much for your review. I just got mine, and thought that the clothes steamer was missing. Also, I couldn’t get the window attachment onto the hose. I’ll take a look at mine and I’m saving your video.
Thank you so much Namita! Yes! I wanted this for close to a year before I finally got it! Sadly it was a disappointment, but I’m glad you found the review helpful!! :)
Yes, I need to give it a try with cleaners added. I wanted to try it out without any cleaners first, because that’s how all the ads were portraying it - as like a miracle worker with steam alone… I didn’t have much luck with JUST steam or with baking soda, but I do need to go back & try some actual cleaned with it. Maybe I will feel like it wasn’t such a waste of $$. What cleaners do you like using for the shower with the steamer? I have a glass shower now that I’m trying to figure out how to best clean. Thanks for the suggestion & for watching!! :)
I have one of these and they’re great for spot cleaning because of how small and light the whole set up is. For more frightening dirt (like the window), you will need a more professional solution like a Dupray steam cleaner (but those are hundreds of dollars) and they do work well for those situations that warrant 350°F steam at very high pressure.
I believe you are correct! Those areas need professional grade steamers. I tried tough areas that all of the commercials & others who were reviewing the product, said it would clean - like the window, etc. To basically see if it did what others claimed it did. And for me it did not do what they were claiming. But I think it’s just too much to expect from a small handheld device, those other reviews were just not accurate, based on my experience & that’s what I had set out to find out (kind of like a true or false) Thanks for your comment! :)
Thanks for this great and honest review. Very, very interesting about using it on wall paper. I thought you were suppose to use cool, purified water vs warm tap water?
I don’t think it said on the instructions, I don’t remember, but the water on my sink in the little small faucet is a purified water system that we put in, that water comes out cool, not cold per say but it’s not warm at all. I haven’t noticed a difference in the machine if I use that or the warm tap water
Where you had that small piece of clear wrap on the nozzle in the very beginning of video, did it have a lubricant like substance on it as well? I just revived mine today and noticed that.
Lol, nooooo! Mine is coming this week and you covered Several areas I am hopeful it will help with but you thumbsed them down. The shower door, the old caulk, the washing machine seal, the window sills . . . lol. Ack! I nearly burn our house down annually with the self-clean oven option on the oven so no biggie there. Wonder how it will handle our air fryer! I agree with shower heads, etc . . . without even trying the steam cleaner I will say vinegar > all. Vinegar is Amazing, Spectacular, and Extraordinary at getting built up gunk off and out of things. I even gargle apple cider vinegar when I have laryngitis! Totally works. I am hoping to use this machine to help clean the dog treat toys that I can't get in to. That peanut butter stuck Way up there in their Kong toy, for example. I don't want chemicals for their toys, but my arthritic fingers can't get into the nooks and crannies any more. /fingers crossed!
I really appreciate your honesty. Question: does yours get really hot? Like burn yourself hot? Mine just arrived and it feels lukewarm at best. Wasn’t impressed with the results as far as cleaning but if it’s not hot enough it won’t sanitize either?!
For grout it seems like it does a good job and gets the job done fast or quickly. Are there any other devices (chargeable or not) that you have seen since making this video that clean the other things/areas that you see the Blissel device didn't clean or clean well? I was thinking a power washer (a small handheld one if there are ones) that can get all that stuff off that you were trying/hoping for with the Blissel device. Do you know of any of those too (and have tried them for the areas mentioned above in my post) that the Blissel device couldn't/didn't clean or clean well?
This is the only device like this that I have ever tried. I don’t know if any others that can do the stuff other vidoes claim this Bissell can do - but sadly it can’t do them either (not on its own at least) I did love it for the grout, however it was VERY time consuming & I never finished that floor before moving - because of how long it took
Even though your using a steamer, spraying some type of solvent will always give better results with steam. Spray with solvent let it settle then steam
I will have to try that! For the purpose of this review I wanted to see what the steamer could do alone, but I would love to give it another chance with that! Do you have a certain solvent that you like best?
Update me if you find a way to use it that really works well! I really wanted to love this because so many people do, just haven't found the right use for it yet!
Just a minute or so, just basically make sure it’s cooled down - that happens really quickly once it’s unplugged and/or runs out of water, because the steam isn’t built up anymore. I probably only waited like 30 seconds honestly, I didn’t even have to count the time
My sister and I redid my mother's room in her home, she bought her home in the 90s and that's when wall paper was in ... 🤣 I wish we had this when we took the wall paper down...it really can be such a daunting task.
Christina, I think you would be a lot happier with one of the more powerful steam cleaners after watching reviews on RUclips. You get more powerful pressure & hotter temperatures to get the job done. People swear by them! Thank you for your review, I have the one you have & sadly disappointed ☹️
I will have to consider that for the future! Yeah, I had such high hopes for this one after watching so many other reviews but sadly - not all it’s hyped up to be.
I wonder if the steamer has been updated since 3 years ago. I know there was a recent recall. Would be nice to get an updated review on the product as it is shipped now.
@ChristinasHome "This recall involves multiple models of the BISSELL Steam Shot Handheld Steam Cleaners in the model series 39N7 and 2994. “STEAM SHOT” or “POWER STEAMER” is printed on the side of the product." There is indeed a new version offered on the Bissell site. #4171L
Yes, you have to take breaks every few minutes to let it re-heat. I probably ended up using footage during some of that time, but I was working on the areas a lot longer than just what was shown on the video.
How do you get the brush that's attached off of the piece you need for steaming clothes? Never mind I was trying to unscrew it and it just pulls off. I would have enjoyed seeing that demonstrated.
Its been a while, but I believe I mention that in the video at the steaming section, because that took me a minute to figure out also (I don't remember off the top of my head what it was but the video is timestamped, so you can skip right to it)
I don’t think it would “hurt” anything but I also don’t see it being very effective for cleaning. You could use the steaming attachments possibly?? But it’s not going to clean it like a carpet cleaner or spot cleaner would
I’ve been wanting to buy this to clean the car and of course use an all purpose cleaner diluted for the interior. I wonder if you use chemicals for the thumbs down areas if it would be better?
I’m not sure 🤔 I’ve heard someone say (in a video) that you were not supposed to put anything but water in it, but I’m not sure why - the person was saying that because they were using vinegar with water in theirs- I’m not sure if it just voids the warrantee or if it can damage the machine - I guess I could spray the chemicals directly on whatever I’m trying to clean, and not inside the machine… But I just feel like I would just use chemicals and skip the steam cleaner - I don’t see where the steamer would work any better than the chemicals by themselves
@@ChristinasHome oh yeah I meant spraying the chemicals onto whatever surface you’re cleaning, sorry I wasn’t clear 😅 The reason I have been wanting a steam cleaner is to hopefully break down the more tough built up spots. For the scraper alone I’m gonna buy it, we have some paint spots from repainting some rooms.
@@emjayy9527 I figured that as I was typing (that I maybe misunderstood) Hopefully it will work for you! So many people love it & say it works amazing for them!
I never saw this on my directions, but a lot of people have commented this, so I probably just over looked it. Luckily it didn’t hurt my machine. Thanks for watching :)
I've purchased two of these. They work well ... obiviously since I purchased a 2nd steamshot. However, both of the Bissells failed in the trigger mechanism. Once is a fluke, twice tells me it is a design problem. Would be interested to know if others have had this problem.
Oh that’s interesting… I haven’t used mine enough to have any problems, since it didn’t do what I was expecting it too :( maybe someone else will see the comment and respond
I'm not sure the problem was the Bissell Steamer. It may be that because you own an older home, the grime has been there for ages and maybe permanently stuck on. :)
Yeah it was pretty bad in some places when we moved in, but I will say the commercials I saw before buying it made it “appear” that these set in stains would just wipe right up (not only did it appear that way, but they actually said on the QVC commercials and a few RUclipsrs I watched swore the same) Still hoping I will find a use for it, but I was pretty disappointed as the video reviews made it appear like it was going to be magic! 😆 Thanks for watching!!
It may work for helping to loosen the wax by melting it. I’ve also had luck with removing candle wax by taking a rag of dish cloth & an iron & ironing it on top of the spot. Just make sure it is a cloth you are okay getting damaged, as the wax will transfer onto the cloth- also be careful not to leave the iron too long at once, so you don’t to burn the carpet! :)
Thank you! Yeah, I wish it was as great as everyone said … I just didn’t see it :/ I know some people love it though! I still need to try it with actual cleaners/chemicals & see if that makes a difference
Yes, I’ve gotten a lot of comments about this! I need to go see if I read my paper wrong or if I just made that up 🤣 cause I have no idea where I got the idea to do warm/hot water LOL
No, the steamer says water only. It is not made for any cleaners. That would probably clog it up & not work I’m guessing - since only steam comes out of it. Some people do add vinegar but Doing That it does void the warranty i believe - adding anything to it other than water will void it. If you want to use cleaners with this, it is best to add the cleaners to your surface- not into the machine- then you can use the machine with the water only to help break things up
#Christian's Home, try using a air gun connected to a air compressor, it's the only way short of completely removing windows and door to get in there, just tape some plastic sheet around so all the mess stays in one area.
I have a bissell steam shot. I had my steam shot for about 4 years it worked good last time I used it. Now I can’t get my steam come out. I’m pressing down on trigger but no steam will come out.
Yes, they probably would. But that would void the warranty (to add anything to the machine) and all of the advertisements I have seen claim this things were done with ONLY water. So in my opinion, the ads were misleading- I couldn’t get my machine to do even half of what they claimed it would do. The steam is just not hot enough for the claims that are being made
Hmm I’m not sure. It does get pretty hot, so it might not be the best on thin plastics, you may can see if there is any information on their website about it? (Or google for others experiences) But I’ve never seen anything on it (however I’ve never researched that either)
If you want to remove the hard water/soap scum from your shower door, use Avon Skin-So-Soft on a rag and wipe everything. A little bit goes a long way. Watch your step in the shower if any spills, you don’t want to slip and fall.
@@ChristinasHome thanks sorry I was all over the place when watching it. Yeah that’s what I’m looking for. I struggle with OCD but touching grime is a real issue for me. I’m on the verge of being sectioned so a steam power product would be so ideal. Thanks for replying
If you fill it with hot water it says it will void the warranty… it says do not add anything except cool water or you will cause damage to the heating element and your warranty will be void.
I think steam will come out anywhere that its not completely sealed, so make sure that the cap is on really tight, that could be causing it. But a little steam coming out is probably normal.
Your not supposed to fill it with hot water, the steamer does heats the water on it's own. Filling it up with hot water initially MAY not cause any damage, but of you refill it with hot water to continuously use the the steamer you will have a high risk of getting burnt with steaming hot water. When my Bissell steamer runs out of water; I usually unplug the steamer, push on the pressure button to realease any possible pressure left, open the knob and let it sit for a minute or two, then add room temperature water, wait for it to heat up and continue where I left off.
I’ve gotten this comment a lot, I don’t remember using hot water with it. But I made this video so long ago maybe I did ha ha! I normally use cold water - I think maybe I read the instructions as “warm” water initially - I need to go back & re-watch my video because I get this comment often 😆

So glad you enjoyed the review! This machine wasn’t worth it for my needs, I wanted to buy one for months before I did & I was really disappointed. But so many love it! If you decide to get one you will have to tell me if you end up liking it!
I love my headboard so much! Thank you :)
Thank you for this honest review. You just saved me $40. Razor blades, hot water & vinegar are my secret weapon for scraping off caked on crap in the oven.
You’re welcome! And I always forget about razor blades! That sounds like a good combo!

It appears that this machine is not as great as I thought. Thanks for an honest review. I just received mine today.
Sadly, I do think it is over hyped :( I hope you like yours though! I’m still hoping I find a use for mine, because I took too long to try it out & I wasn’t able to return it! I may use it from time to time for sanitizing purposes, since I wasted the $$ on it 😆🙈
@@ChristinasHome I wonder if it's bc the steam isn't hot enough to get great results on Everything??? 🤔
Yes! I had to share because I felt the SAME WAY! 😆🙈
This is a great honest review. I wish I has seen this BEFORE I bought the steam shot. I had high hopes for it cleaning soap scum off the shower, and it did not. :(
I know! Same here! :( I was very disappointed that it couldn’t do MOST of the things that other videos claimed it would/could do :(
I love this video because it actually seems honest. I had tried using one of these after some videos claimed it was magic, and I was left with a bunch of disappointment. I will say though that it's great for hard plastic gunk on cars.
SAME HERE!! I was very disappointed in it, after all the RAVE reviews I had watched! Good to know about cars!! I will have to remember that one!
Wow! This comes with alot of accessories. Such a thorough and very detailed review.
Thank you!
Glad to hear I’m not the only one! All the commercials make it look like magic! 🙈 Thanks so much for your comment! :)
Same experience for me too,had to really press down and go over and over a lot to get the grease off stove, not just steam and wipe like they portray
@@zebrastripes3786 totally agree!!
THANK YOU FOR THIS! Omg I got mine a month ago and had the same results as you, I keep trying to use it and love it bc every single video I see has amazing things to say, but the things it cleans is just easier to clean with a quick wipe down. I was starting to think something was wrong with me lol
Yes girl!! Glad I’m not the only one 🤣🙈 l seriously kept thinking… WHAT am I doing wrong??? LOL
Did you wear a minesweeper suit when operating it? Coz I felt like wearing one when I used it the first time.

Thank you Jenny! So glad you enjoyed it :)
They are $40 on Amazon !!
So I’ve ordered this on targets website and cancelled it twice because I wasn’t sure! Thanks for your honest review! I ordered it again! Wish me luck!
I hope you love it! Glad you found the video helpful! I wish I loved it as much as others seem to!
So did the machine end up being a good purchase after all? Is it worth buying?
Any updates?
Love that everything is color coded. How convenient!!
Yes!
I bought a Bissell steam shot yesterday for the most cleaning for the air fryer toaster oven and small cleaning around the house so far it got ride of 96% of the grease stains in the air fryer toaster oven.
That’s awesome! I’ll have to try it on my air fryer, now that I have one!
Me too!! I just watched this video, now I'm going to go try it.
That steamer looks like it cleans so well, I'm dying to try it. ❤❤

Thank you for reviewing this! I see people use it all the time and it always seems so awesome! 🙌💗💗

I like mine for disinfecting more than anything. It works on the window tracking for me too. I also love it to clean the roller on my carpet shampooer
And I like that it sanitizes.

hey christina luv ur review so honest and i can tell u r not an impulsive buyer but a smart buyer which is who i am too. so helped a lot ty
Thank you so much Namita! Yes! I wanted this for close to a year before I finally got it! Sadly it was a disappointment, but I’m glad you found the review helpful!! :)
It helps if you use cleaning sprays in the bathroom (shower, around the sink, etc) and then use the steamer. I love it for that.
This aerosolizes all the chemicals, which is EXTREMELY bad for you. Don't do this!
I love your honesty.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
The best review I have ever seen!
Thank you! Glad it was helpful :)
The most honest reviwe!!if I only knew be4 buying
Thank you! I feel the same way!
Where you had that small piece of clear wrap on the nozzle in the very beginning of video, did it have a lubricant like substance on it as well? I just revived mine today and noticed that.
I don't remember 100% because it was so long ago, but I "think" it did
This thing is amazing!! It literally can do it all!
It’s pretty cool!
Oh darn! Well hopefully it will work for the dog toys, I think it should do that for you at least! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
@@ChristinasHome I'll be sure to holler (and scream and pout) if it doesn't. And if it does I'll be sure to sing its praises here! :)
I really appreciate your honesty. Question: does yours get really hot? Like burn yourself hot? Mine just arrived and it feels lukewarm at best. Wasn’t impressed with the results as far as cleaning but if it’s not hot enough it won’t sanitize either?!
Mine does get super hot, are you waiting for the ready light to change before using? If so, I would think you may have a defective machine
Dont breathe it in tho
I just ordered my Steam Shot so I’m looking forward to blasting away stuck on grease and grime especially inside of my oven!
Hopefully it works for you! It didn’t so much for me on it’s own, but maybe with the addition of cleaners/chemicals you will have better luck!
I just bought one, so still learning.
Update me if you find a way to use it that really works well! I really wanted to love this because so many people do, just haven't found the right use for it yet!
Just got mine. I'm learning too😀
How long do you wait before refilling with water? Just moments? As long as15 or 20 minutes? Thanks.
Just a minute or so, just basically make sure it’s cooled down - that happens really quickly once it’s unplugged and/or runs out of water, because the steam isn’t built up anymore. I probably only waited like 30 seconds honestly, I didn’t even have to count the time
Saved $40. God bless you!
Thanks Kevin! I’m so glad it helped you, I should have tried to return mine 😄🙈
My sister and I redid my mother's room in her home, she bought her home in the 90s and that's when wall paper was in ... 🤣 I wish we had this when we took the wall paper down...it really can be such a daunting task.
Oh yes! Haha so so much work to remove!!!
@@Apokalupsis88 I’m not sure, I did post the link to the recall info, but I wasn’t aware that they made a new version.

You’re so welcome! I’m glad you found it helpful!
I noticed the orange light on when you were trying to clean the shower head, does that indicate it needs to heat back up?
Yes, you have to take breaks every few minutes to let it re-heat. I probably ended up using footage during some of that time, but I was working on the areas a lot longer than just what was shown on the video.
How do you get the brush that's attached off of the piece you need for steaming clothes? Never mind I was trying to unscrew it and it just pulls off. I would have enjoyed seeing that demonstrated.
Its been a while, but I believe I mention that in the video at the steaming section, because that took me a minute to figure out also (I don't remember off the top of my head what it was but the video is timestamped, so you can skip right to it)
People for those hard to get areas around your sink. Buy and cheap tooth brush and use that to get into those areas. It works.
What a thorough video! Thank you so much :)

Man I really was hoping this would solve the washing machine problem!
Me too!
Could I use this on my fabric couch?
The direction are clear that cool water is to be used when filling the machine.
Also I'm not sure it's a good idea to use this on light switches.. not around electricity... NOT a good idea....
I just bought mine. It did not come with any hose or clothes steamer attachments. Do you order these extra?
Hmm… No, they came with mine.

Thank you!:)
Can you use vinegar to steam instead of water?
I have never tried it. I know some people do that, BUT it will void your warranty if put anything other than water in the machine
Can it be used on furniture micro fibre?
I don’t know for sure, but I don’t think it would hurt anything. I used my regular carpet cleaner on my microfiber couch and it didn’t hurt anything.

I spilled candle wax on my carpet and have been looking for something like this. Do you think it remove the wax?
It may work for helping to loosen the wax by melting it. I’ve also had luck with removing candle wax by taking a rag of dish cloth & an iron & ironing it on top of the spot. Just make sure it is a cloth you are okay getting damaged, as the wax will transfer onto the cloth- also be careful not to leave the iron too long at once, so you don’t to burn the carpet! :)

Thank you! Yeah, I wish it was as great as everyone said … I just didn’t see it :/ I know some people love it though! I still need to try it with actual cleaners/chemicals & see if that makes a difference
Bissell says to use cool water as to not damage the internal components. Additionally, you should use distilled water if you have hard water.
Yes, I’ve gotten a lot of comments about this! I need to go see if I read my paper wrong or if I just made that up 🤣 cause I have no idea where I got the idea to do warm/hot water LOL
Distilled water will keep it better maintained. There will be no mineral build up.
Can I add Carpet Cleaner Solution Shampoo for Machine Use to this steamer?
Oh great idea! Thanks :)
I have a bissell steam shot. I had my steam shot for about 4 years it worked good last time I used it. Now I can’t get my steam come out. I’m pressing down on trigger but no steam will come out.
awe man, that stinks! What did you like using it for over those 4 years? (Im still hoping to find a good use for mine)
Did you solve it? Mine is doing the same thing...
The directions say to to fill it with cool tap water or distilled/demineralalized water! You filled it with hot water!? Im confused? What is correct?
I would just go with the directions on your machine :)
It seems like most of the tests that you have made , just only hot water . Maybe it will work better if you add a bit of cleaning detergent . 😊
Yes, they probably would. But that would void the warranty (to add anything to the machine) and all of the advertisements I have seen claim this things were done with ONLY water. So in my opinion, the ads were misleading- I couldn’t get my machine to do even half of what they claimed it would do. The steam is just not hot enough for the claims that are being made
Wow I didn’t know it did all these things! Wow I’m going to have to do this with mine!
Hoping i get the energy to finish the grout 🤣🤣🤣
@@ChristinasHome 😂😂❤️❤️❤️
Is this safe on plastic products and doesn't keep the plastic from warping or cracking??

Oh! I’ve never heard of using that!
WD 40 and dryer sheets work well too
Will it work on grime on windows well?
I test that in this video & it didn’t really work for me :( Maybe in conjunction with a cleaning product, it would do better?
@@ChristinasHome thanks sorry I was all over the place when watching it. Yeah that’s what I’m looking for. I struggle with OCD but touching grime is a real issue for me. I’m on the verge of being sectioned so a steam power product would be so ideal. Thanks for replying
12:09 mr clean magic erasers work fantastic for removing soap scum on glass shower doors and tubs!
I JUST discovered that a couple of weeks ago! Also bar keepers friend!
If you fill it with hot water it says it will void the warranty… it says do not add anything except cool water or you will cause damage to the heating element and your warranty will be void.
I didn’t see that anywhere on mine, but a few others have mentioned this as well
So what steamer are you using now?
This is the only hand held one I’ve tried. I don’t use any other steamers. (Other than my carpet cleaner)
Would it work on the bath tub??
I didn’t have much luck using it in my fiberglass shower :/
Wondering how long that one tank lasts.
I’m not really sure, I would say maybe 10 minutes or less
The steam comes up from the water cap, is that normal?
I think steam will come out anywhere that its not completely sealed, so make sure that the cap is on really tight, that could be causing it. But a little steam coming out is probably normal.

It does not say whether you can or cannot use an extension cord with this tool. Anybody know?
I guess I’m not a good one to answer because I’ve always assumed that you can with any appliance. Are there some that you can’t?
Can you purchase extra nylon brushes ?
I’m not certain, I haven’t looked into that.
