I learned this lesson the hard way about people that criticize others. My dad said there's always three fingers pointing back at you when you when you point a finger at someone else. How true that was when my grandmother's boyfriend died his house was full of junk and yet he criticized anybody for having clutter so...... Now when somebody harps on me about an issue I know that that is one of their own down falls.

Well, kick it down, I feel that same way about my cat, Samantha Page's, cat food cans. She eats us out of house and home. What to do with them. I saw these candlesticks that were industrial. I see fellow crafters using wood and cement a lot. The projects are wonderful. But cement rots wood. The project will not last very long. You may want to do plastic spray on any part that goes in cement. That is when you use wood.
    I do love your projects.

I always love your videos. I can always count on you for tons of inspiration. Your projects are always beautiful and creative. For the bucket ottoman table, you could always add another strip of the faux leather or other trim/fabric across the seam to make it look like an intentional design element. Thanks so much for sharing 😊

  • @ExtraHotSalsa

I love that your DIYs use found objects to create new masterpieces!!
Where the two pieces of faux leather were joined on the ottoman top, a leather or faux leather belt of contrasting color could be used to cover the seam and offer an accent.
Thanks for sharing your decor art!! Happy😊

On vinyl seams...take a vinyl repair kit (autozone and dollar stores carry them, even some furniture places) its super easy and gets rid of seam if someone can't handle seeing a seam. Just a Lil tip...I love the bucket ideas! I end up with quite a few. But if anyone ever needs to find one, check with stores that serve deli sandwiches, etc. Pickles, hard boiled eggs etc come in them....even paint stores have some sometimes ....free!

This was very interesting. I found you by accident, but as it turns out, I was looking for ways to fancy up a few pots for a wedding. I just thought it would be so much easier to purchase live plants and put florals in them than to do it all from scratch. I got some great ideas.
