  • Our video demonstrates how easy it is to sew on buttons using the BERNINA button sew-on foot: Just select the button sew-on programme and activate the presser foot.
The adjustable middle toe allows you to vary the height of the thread shank for thicker fabrics so you get the very best results. Then place the button on the marked position and slowly lower the foot. Make sure that the middle toe is in the middle of the buttonhole. Using the handwheel, check the first stitches in both buttonholes. If you are satisfied with the results, start the presser foot programme which automatically stops after the button has been sewn on. Now you need only cut the threads, raise the presser foot and place it over the next button.
Who says sewing on buttons has to be boring routine work? With the button sew-on foot, you can sew on buttons in no time.

Such a handy foot. I had one with my last machine, but haven't gotten the one for my Bernina yet. Thanks for the video.
