As a longtime Lecrae fan since Jesus Musik, I want simply address he is very firmly rooted in his faith and expressly Evangelical. It's just that he has learned that marketing himself with the religious category has put his career in bondage. is the goal is to reach as many people as possible with her a message and then you wouldn't want that to happen Of course he has received criticism from both sides of the argument. to truly understand you would have to know what it feels like to be completely rejected as a person professionally just for your opinion even though all you want to do is share it.
