@@G4MBITdepends because in some ways they went overboard like needing to beat the game 3 times to get the wukong stance which doesn’t last long or can only be used in 1 fight at a time rather than it being a true stance. The stance isn’t even that strong especially when you get to the point of actually being able to access it
This is the one game that I ever replayed, and actually I had more fun replaying it. Going through bosses like they're nothing, the same ones that made you sweat, and not dieing a single time for the entire play through feels good
So what's a good advice? Should we recommend new players to just go through the story once and not worry about 100% achievement like getting every secret boss, and just focus on getting through the entire story so they can get a decent build for their character for Sparks/Mind Cores, so they can have an easier replay? Cuz I'm torn on my first run and first attempt. Should I still try to get through all secret bosses?
@@drakke125Channel The best advice I can give is don’t miss the secret ending on your first play through. Without it you don’t get the 6th relic so in order to get all of them you’d have to do a 4th play through.
@@dustingre8 Dustin is right. This is the most important bit. Also. with a little bit of focus you can do most quests in one go. In fact. You can do almost all quests in one go anyway. But if you miss to speak or find the right people in various chapters, then some questlines close
You need to invest enough sparks into the stance in order unlock the 4th. Once you unlock it, you’ll still see 3 focus points. however once you fill up 3 focus points, you’ll notice that there’s a meter that is filling up near the focus points as you attack. Once the meter is filled, it will be your 4th focus point. Beware, if you don’t fill up the 4th all the way, the progress of that meter will slowly decay.

I'm on ch 4 and I got a Curios that buffs chance of getting material drops from killing enemies. I'm trying to farm Mind Cores. Sadly there's a limit to how much you can upgrade yourself based on Mind Core buffs, so Sparks are prob the way to go....

You must beat Erlang to free the mind relic if you dont and just beat OG wukong you wont free the mind relic even thou you get it, will be locked. you have to play NG+ without it untill near the end after you beat Erlang 😢( happend to me) and to do the move, select unified minds for the freed mind relic…have all focus point charged up and as soon as you cast the duplicates, press heavy attack button. Im on my third run of the game 😂

All builds are kinda useless after NG+3 tbh. NG+4 and above seems to just be a game of attrition. Which sucks because you get the Wukong armor by NG+4 but it's already too late because the game makes it's strongest attributes kinda worthless because you're fighting armored tanks that can 1 shot you regardless of whatever armor you're wearing.
@@kjk607 yeah the scaling in this game is a complete bs ,people play NG+to enjoy the game after a hard playthrough not play an even more crazy game than the base game.

So the way that heavy attack is done (when he jumps and spins the staff, the slams it down) is by building focus points by hitting enemies (or sprinting with pilgrim set) - NOT by charging the heavy attack.. correct?

They made NG+ easier so people can go back and finish trophies they missed. NG++ is much harder and NG+++ is harder than the original play through.

You need 4 focus points
You need to completely max out focus during battle and you do the forth level attack
You need to invest enough sparks into the stance in order unlock the 4th. Once you unlock it, you’ll still see 3 focus points. however once you fill up 3 focus points, you’ll notice that there’s a meter that is filling up near the focus points as you attack. Once the meter is filled, it will be your 4th focus point. Beware, if you don’t fill up the 4th all the way, the progress of that meter will slowly decay.
He didn’t “figure out” anything. It’s a skill you get for NG+ after beating the game
