- Hi everyone, and welcome back onboard Costa Toscana, the flagship from Costa Cruises. In our last episode, we showed you what it was like to board one of the biggest cruise ships in the world in Barcelona, Spain, we showed our cabins for the cruise, and then told you all about cruise cocktails! In this episode, we're taking you ashore in Sardinia - a port that neither of us have been to before!
We'll be leaving Costa Toscana behind after breakfast, and heading to Poetto Beach, before coming back to the ship to relax before experiencing Speciality Dining onboard for the first time!
Tonight, it'll be Teppanyaki for us - my first time with Costa, and the first time Laura's EVER tried this style of dining.

I would go crazy with so many vendors hitting you up to buy things. Uugh!! I don't even like pushy shop keepers. I like the Teppanyaki (spelling?) experience overall. Thanks for this one Fraser.

Hi Joanne, it was beautiful! Thankfully I had a LOT of aftersun with me, so was able to bask in that to quickly improve the situation, ha! Next stop, Rome!

Hi again Fraser, a bit funny to see your video's now I've been on this ship and recognize everything. That spot in the theatre sitting behind the glass in a row was where I was a ouple of times...1 hour in advance!!! That was terrible because you experienced it too, the design of the theatre is awful. And the theatre in front of the ship, Frau something, is not much better. Your lobster looked great though.
Ha, you’ll feel that more and more with all the ships you book - I really enjoy watching vlogs when I’ve been on the ship - you get a totally different appreciation, I think!
The lobster was ace - unlike the theatre design. I’ll be intrigued to see if they change that theatre - the views are awful from almost every seat, ha!
I was on Toscana a couple of weeks ago. Sunny and warm weather for November! I went to Caligari but only to the pharmacy....caught a virus. I am looking forward to the other videos. Been to Rome so it will be nice to see it again.
