I have lost 106lbs in 11 months. Stopped two blood pressure medications and a Gout medication. My life has changed for the better. Yes,I have lost muscle but plan on get back into the pool to address it. I am in the process of finding the correct maintenance dose for me. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to be on this medication for my obesity. If I could have lost the weight on my own I would have absolutely done so. It does not boil down to someone just being lazy or making bad food choices. All obese people should not be painted with the same brush, just like all type 2 patients.
My wife has lost 100lbs in 18 months on Mounjaro and Wegovy. She has also become a gym rat and has transformed her body and her life! I am overjoyed with how this has changed her life! It definitely works and nothing else has ever worked long term!
My doctor said it best, he said it calms the noise in my head about food. I had gastric sleeve and that was good for a few years, but the weight was creeping back and the wegovy was my saving grace.
This is my current situation. I will be taking my first dose of 0.25 this evening. I had the sleeve in 2017 and maintained a 120lb weight loss for 5 years when my dad died from cancer. Caring for him and dealing with his death changed everything with my diet and body. Also turned 40 that year so the deck was stacked! Now I’m up 50lbs from my happy weight and can’t lose no matter my diet and exercise attempts! Finally gave in and explored this option with my doctor. I just don’t want to have to take this injection for the rest of my life….
I had the gastric bypass in 2005. I lost 107 lb and kept the weight off all the way up until 2019. I guess I should have put that in my statement up above.😊
Great to see individual experiences on it. I’m in week 6 now, dropped 21 pounds so far, 20ish to go to first target weight before I reassess where I want to be weight wise. Zero side effects for me, which is great. Got back into cycling and running, ran a 32 min 5k yesterday. Very happy! I’m fasting 16:8 every day, and sensible lunch, dinner, plenty of fruit all day. No alcohol. Finding it actually easy and enjoyable 🤷♂️
So happy for you. I started 3 weeks ago and its already very clearly a game changer. The constant battle within my head about when to eat what to eat whether i should relax or be strict etc etc etc…just. Gone. I am so much less hungry and craving but still not struggling to eat like other appetite suppressants. My body has always been so stubborn and responded to slowly to diet and exercise. Its falling off and my mental health is just in a better place. I do not care what other peoples opinions on it are im so happy i found it.
You do you! Losing weight for me is so hard, not because I’m lazy or don’t try HARD, but because of PCOS, my body fights against me. I have lost 75 pounds two years ago but I’ve hit a plateau and the scale drips along. My hormones are so out of whack, this might just be the thing to whip them back in shape. I am looking forward to trying it. I wish you the best of luck!
@@clairebordeaux PCOS is polycystic ovarian syndrome. It is not curable it’s just something you learn to live with. I’ve just placed my first order . Reading your comment about the way you think really resonated with me . I’m looking forward to quieting the noise , feeling happier and more relaxed about food and enjoying a healthier smaller body
This is my second week with a dose of 0.25 mg. I had an immediate reaction to my first dose. I felt nauseous but at the same time all my cravings for carbohydrates were gone! That was a miracle. I will pick nausea every time over feeling an addiction to sugar. I’ve settled into a routine of eating OMAD (one meal a day) at 1:00 pm. I have no hunger and am losing weight like crazy (understand that I have a total of 100 pounds total to lose). My only issue is extreme fatigue. I’ve been sure to supplement with vitamins and iron. Honestly, I cannot stress how much relief I feel to not have the constant sugar cravings. I’ve also noticed a significant decrease in my desire to shop.
I just quickly wanted to thank you I read your post. I too have 100 pounds to lose. I haven’t gotten my semi glucide yet although it is on its way to me! I am a Carb eater as well as a major issue with sugar so hearing that it does help with those cravings makes me feel so, hopeful! Good luck on your journey and again thank you!
Today will begin week #4 for me. The very first injection, I chose to go in my stomach and it caused some nausea. As I started listening to other testimonies and doing more research, some suggested that a different part of the body for the injection might make a difference. My 2nd injection was in my thigh and I'm happy to report there was NO NAUSEA! I feel the same way you do...if I have to endure a little nausea once a week, I'm ok with that lol! Maybe a different injection site is worth a try though...ya never know. I wish us ALL well on our journey to getting healthy and becoming the very best versions of ourselves ❤️
@@nswinter-859we are all together !!! Good luck on your journey!!! I am currently on my second week of semigloss! Feeling kinda a little less food addicted lol and just did feel nauseas!!!
I have chronic fatigue syndrome. I now take a bariatric fusion vitamin that has a lot of B vitamins and it helps tremendously! Rarely ever am I fatigued anymore and I’ve been like that since I can remember! I’m 50 now!
My only regret with Semagluetide is not starting it sooner. I could’ve started it in at the end of 2022, but I was hesitant because I was skeptical and also I was afraid of being judged by other people but ultimately decided it was time to make a decision. My aunt passed away in 2022 and I decided that life is too short to be scared, and I didn’t want to be overweight anymore and if this medicine could help me get back to the way I was before I had gained weight and feel healthier that it was worth it. It has changed my life as well and I’m so glad that I finally decided to do it in April of this year, I am down 40 pounds since April 2023 and I feel like my old self again. And as you said, even after I gained weight I could still see my old self but knew other people weren’t seeing that version of me anymore because I had gained so much weight. I was sad all the time and the excess weight made it hard to hike into things that I love doing, and I definitely had a lot more joint pain as well when I was overweight. Now that I am in a healthier place I don’t see myself stopping the medication any time either because I feel better and my back doesn’t hurt as much and I’m able to do the things that I love to do. The hardest part is that I am also tall like you, I am 5‘10“ and when your tall weight doesn’t always show up on you, the same people might not even notice you’ve gained any weight, but when I was younger people would always comment on how thin I was, even though I was just healthy and I had a normal weight I wasn’t under weight I was actually in the middle of the healthy weight range which is where I’m back to now and people comment on it all the time and sadly sometimes it feels like when I was overweight people don’t tell you that you’re overweight when you know you’re unhealthy but when you are healthy, sometimes it seems like people have a hard time being happy for you. I think that’s good that you shared that you were able to get back to a healthy weight on this medication and I believe wholeheartedly that this medication is going to change the lives of so many overweight Americans, who might’ve given up the idea of losing weight and getting healthy because it seems impossible because this medication is life-saving in my opinion. It’s not even about looking thin it’s just about being healthy and I think that it’s going to help so many people who are overweight.
@@mselinger1866 that’s amazing 🥲 congrats! I hope it helps you as much as it helped me! I’ve started hiking again, and working out again. It has been amazing. I hope you’re doing well also!
I have lost 58 pounds on semaglutide in 9&1/2 months… it’s been slow and steady for me. I’m 50 years old I started at 215 pounds, I’m 4’11.5” tall and my goal weight is 125… (so I need to lose a total of 90 pounds which is daunting!)… I’m proud of how far I’ve come so far and have to look at that and not how much more I still need to lose. I’m sure it’s going to take me another 6-9 months to reach my goal and I just have to be ok with that. Things take time and for me it hasn’t come off quickly but slow and steady. This change is a lifestyle change and it is for the rest of my life! Thanks for this video it’s encouraging and supportive!❤ congratulations on your weight loss you look healthy and beautiful!
I have recently started ozempic. I have watched SO many videos. Yours is the best and has helped me so much. I can relate to you more than all the other 50 videos I have watched. Thank you!!
Wow what a fabulous story ! I worked out with a trainer 2.5 years & nothing changed . I even used a nutrition person in conjunction & still doing the weight loss the normal way. Nothing changed ever . So I have an appt coming with a physician for help. So working out isn’t the answer sweet for everyone as I did it for 5 days a wk. thank you for helping cup of courage - pls talk to us some more ! I’m 68
I just started my journey on semaglutide and at end of my first week. It's a relief hearing you say you didn't feel much because that's my concern too. But I'm excited to continue and see where it takes me. As a mom the pounds have just sort of slowly gained over the years and crept up on me, I can't wait to feel healthy and feel like my old self again! Great video, I totally relate
Congrats on your achievement. My wife and I are starting our journey next week. We are so excited and will be back in three months and keep here posted.
I know this is a old video... But I've been on wegovy for 7 weeks now, And I couldn't get the scale to budge, I felt me losing inches.. But the scale when I move, I watch your video last week and You said to drink tons of water and protein, I started drinking water like crazy and then a scale start going down, So happy Thank you so much 🙏
Your story and those in the comments give me tremendous hope. I just picked up my first pen, for my first semaglutide prescription and I’ll give it a try tonight. I’m nervous, but also excited. It sounds too good to be true; to not only lose weight but to also calm the impulses that feed bad habits. (I too am an online shopper). Very much looking forward to this journey.
Great snap shot, my experience is similar but I’m diabetic. Started out on compounded semeglutide the maxed out and was switched to tirzepatide, then changed provider’s and she switched me to maunjaro and it was cover by my insurance. So thankful for this medication. It’s a game changer. I’ve been over age since about 8 yrs old. Obesity is a complex thing and can be for many reasons. It’s definitely not fair to lump everyone into one box. That being said this medication isn’t for everyone but if someone needs it it’s worth looking into and talking to your provider!! Very informative video!
I am with you. This is SO worth it. Don't know if I’ll ever come off of it. It is so expensive, but I’ll work more ,so I can pay for it because it has done so much good for me. Keep up your good work!!!
I started a compounded semaglutide four months ago . Have lost forty pounds. I am below 140 for the first time since I was 11. I couldn’t be more delighted.
Im so glad that i found your channel i love watching you and explaining it Im on it and i love it , I've taken 2 shots of the 0•25 and i have list 4 pounds, Can't wait to see how much im going to lose Thanks for your encouragement ❤
Thank you! I have been doing so much research and have an appointment with my DR. on tuesday and I am telling her I want Wegovy. I have always been heavy but in the last 2 years I have gone beyond my usual weight yoyo of 175-180 and I mean WAY beyond and whatever I do just doesn't help, I can loose 5 lbs and gain 6 back, I don't feel like myself I feel like an alien in my own body, my blood presure is high and my joints hurt. I just found out it is covered under my insurance so I am going for it. I love finding people that are honest about their journey and it is amazing when you share your experiences. Thank you!
Semi glutide is helping me not only to curve my appetite, my cravings for food, but also my cravings for opioids. I have been battling addiction and pain for about three years, and this medicine have really changed my cravings of more than food and losing weight have decreased my pain because I feel more active.
That’s amazing. Congratulations finding this. I heard this from Dr. Tyna Moore. So awesome to hear that there are people out here getting relief from a hormone that our body naturally makes. Congratulations!! ❤ your reply gives me joy!!
Thanks for sharing your journey, I took my second shot yesterday and I feel fine. Lost 2 lbs last week, looking forward to losing 30lbs before my 70th birthday in June 2024!
I’m in my first week. I am so glad I came across your channel. I was starting to think it wasn’t going to work. I’ve tried so many things. But I’m keeping an open mind bc I need and want to lose weight. I’ve seen so many success stories and I’m in my journey to my happiness.
I was 152 in May of 2024. I was working out 6 days a week spin, weights, TRX, etc. eating calorie deficit diet and am now 136. I am 5’4”. I have nausea once in a blue moon. This is not indicative for everyone. I will say that I went through a lot of Tums my first two weeks. In the morning if I feel nauseous, I eat yogurt immediately and that makes it go away. What people have to remember to do is to eat. Because you don’t have any cravings for anything anymore, sometimes you just don’t eat. You have to continue going to the gym and lifting weights and eating a healthy diet high in protein and full fat. I am also 59, post menopause and on HRT, so combined with that, this has helped me tremendously! I am so grateful to have been able to do this.
I took yesterday the first shoot and I threw up after 5 hrs😢, in that moment honestly I regreat eating all junk and fatty foods. I tried to cook this morning and the smell of oil made me feel sick. So far I am happy that my tummy is only accepting healthy foods. I ate papaya, one scramble egg with veggies, quinoa, warm water with lemon. So far no signs of nausea. 😊
I saw one Dr on youtube claim that the nausea comes from eating bad fatty foods like burgers wings and things so it kind of forces you to eat healthier. So your comment corroborates that.
Me too, this is my first day and I threw up 3 times and haven’t eaten all day because I can’t… did you feel better the next day? Thank you, God bless you 🙏🏻❤️✝️🇺🇸🌎
I just subscribed :) I start this journey in a couple of days and listening to you makes me look forward to it. Have fun with your boys! My husband and I have 3 grown sons and 2 of them are in the Air Force.
dealing with health issues, Aspect Health played a role. This video resonates deeply. Struggled with weight loss after having children, and the speaker's journey with semaglutide is relatable. Understanding the side effects and dosage is informative. Encouraged by her success, even with challenges. Planning to continue the medication aligns with my quest for a healthier life. Grateful for the emphasis on support systems, protein intake, and water consumption-vital aspects of the weight loss journey.
This is the first video of yours I have seen, which was after searching for ozempic. I found a clinic through my doctor that has a weight loss program that uses semaglutide, and I had my first dose today! I am excited for this! I have spent my adult life going up and down with my weight, but after getting COVID new years 2023 and becoming a long-hauler, I gained 50 lbs in a year and I am at my heaviest weight ever. I got COVID again December 2023 and my appetite just went through the roof again. I am nervous but excited at the same time, and your video really helped! I know it isn’t going to be easy, but it will be worth it!
I'm so sorry to hear about your long COVID:/ i know inflammation is a big issue, a friend of mine found it decreased inflammation and helped her symptoms. Fingers crossed for you!
I just started taking it last Thursday, and it's already changing my appetite and my life! I'm so happy you made this video, because you answered some of my questions, and also offered me valuable insight into things I hadn't even thought about, so THANK YOU, and I hope you're having an incredible week❤❤❤
I just would love to tell you how beautiful you are and how much I appreciate you sharing your journey with us! Thank you for your honesty and kindness, you just seem so real and genuine and it’s so appreciated. God bless you and your journey further! 🙏♥️
I’m so glad you are speaking out. I was put on ozembic to start for type2. Then after I lost weight my insurance wouldn’t cover it. I have been on it for 2yrs. Maintenance on the compounding formula. It has been a game changer for my life! My numbers for insulin, BMI, cholesterol etc are all perfect!
I have so much energy since I started my semaglutide with b12 I workout 5 days a week no sugar I been doing super great I eat when I'm hungry don't starve my self I can't wait to see my results this would be my week 2🥰
I only had very little to lose 20 pounds so it makes it more difficult to lose weight than someone that has a lot of weight to lose very slow processes for me not big weight loss I started at 174
Down to 171 I'm on my 6 shot I also workout 5 days a week try to eat as healthy as possible only 3 Pounds in 6 weeks bummer I'm gonna finish the shots but after that not wasting my money 3 months, 1,000 not worthy for me
Thank you. I really appreciate your video! I’ve been on it for 9 weeks and have lost 15 lbs. I am taking it with a b12 shot weekly which has helped me to have a good amount of energy, I’m not tired at all. No nausea for me, thankfully. Overall, I feel great and feel so much better in my clothes. It has completely curbed my appetite and cravings. Protein is key. Congrats to you on your journey.
I will be starting my journey. I'll admit, I'm scared. Im in the phase in my life(menopausal) where the weight gain is unbearable. Domino affect.. with moods, how you feel about yourself, etc. Wish me luck. All i can do is try and stay positive in this journey, and have a high fiber diet. 😊
Your outro message is everything ❤❤❤ I have lost 80 lbs so far but have stalled the past month and a half. I am starting to see myself when I look in the mirror. It’s an awesome feeling. I could stand to increase my protein and (definitely) water intake. I come from a military family, thank you and your hubby for your service ❤.
I took my first shot yesterday evening. I had no problems last night, but oh, man have I been CRAZY tired today. Unusually so! I'm glad to hear you say you were tired from week 2 to 5. So, I will kinda know what to expect! Congratulations on your successful weight loss! 👏🏻 🎉
Hi, could please tell me how many mg was your first shot? I just both Ozempic the 1mg pen and I was wondering if it is not to hi for a first dose? Thnks
This video was so good! I start my injections tomorrow and I’m nervous but excited. I’ve lost half my body weight before but have gained some back and food addiction and bad habits are so real! This really gives me a brighter outlook, though thinking that it might even be changing some of what causes these addictions in your brain! If that’s the case this medicine could really help rewire a lot of us, and we wouldn’t even need to take it forever. I eat animal based or keto most of the time which has definitely helped with weight loss, but my issue is that it can be hard to stick to for long enough to make it easy! I’ve also been over eating since childhood but thankfully do make better food choices now but it’s a lifetime of bad habits I need to break. Sounds like this medication will pair perfectly with how I want to keep eating because I do believe protein is super important and that makes me excited that this could actually help me stick to what I am already trying to do. Hoping my brain cooperates ☺️
@@MotherofCODMsurprisingly I lost 10lbs in the the first 3 weeks of the 0.25ng dose which is supposedly nothing lol. But then I moved up to the 0.5mg dose and and listing a lot slower. Only 2 pounds on that so far and some side effects so I might go back down to the lower dose since it worked so well. The best part has been I rarely think about food and cravings are barely there! It’s really helping me reset my gut too so that when it’s time to come off, my body won’t have a gut full of sugar it craves anymore fingers crossed!
@@eternalwizard776 thank you so much ❤️ keep it going… I eat like a bird and yet nothing, I will check with my doctor and see what are the options🥹 thank you for sharing again 🥹
I’m so happy to find this comment section. Got my first dose today. I have PCOS insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, have always been overweight, been getting fed processed foods and sugar since I was 6months. It’s been my whole life and I’m ready to feel good. I love the gym and I eat mainly Whole Foods so I feel like I have an advantage with keeping my skin healthy. Any comments on skin sagging?
@@beachlife4704 it’s going great. I’m on week six and I’ve lost 14 pounds. It’s a whole adjustment to eating and your relationship to food. But it feels like it’s working!
@@KarliSine sorry I just saw this. Thank you so much. I’m just starting week six and it’s going really well. I’ve lost 14 pounds so far. I have a goal of 45 to 50 pounds. So I’m on my way! It’s definitely changing my whole relationship relationship with food. Very interesting.
I’m also on it was well, it’s been 4 shots in for me. Where do you take your shot at? I take mine in my thigh vs. my stomach and I have no nausea. I was told by my doctor the thigh has less of a chance of experiencing nausea.
Your tips have helped me so much so far! I did 4 weeks of 0.25 and then took my second 0.5 injection yesterday, had a follow up appointment and have lost 10 lbs so far! My second vial is on its way, and I’ll start the therapeutic dose in 2 weeks!
@@deborahduley33 so far I’ve had some nausea the day of and day after my injection, and constipation. But I’ve noticed that if I keep my protein intake around 100g per day I’ve had less nausea. And the nurse at the med spa where I get my semaglutide told me to take fiber gummies and that has helped tremendously with the constipation issue! A little over 2 months in and am down 23 lbs.
Thank you so much for the advice I just started 2 weeks ago and I have lost 12 lbs so far. But I have been doing Keto and intermittent fasting. I just wanted to see if it would make a difference. And after reading others comments I’m keeping it up. Thanks

I started today. Took my first shot after dinner. I am dealing with menopausal weight gain. Hoping this helps with the weight without to many side effects ❤️🙏🏼
This video is really helpful. I also have PCOS and just took my first dose of Wegovy last night. Since nothing can truly heal PCOS I know it's going to be life long. For me, it's the relief that the semaglutide can help level the "health playing field" for people with metabolic disorders.
@@amandawallace105I lost 3 pounds after the first injection and I have to admit that I ugly sobbed. I wasn't prepared for how it would feel to make small "half ass" changes with the help of the medicine and the for those changes to actually have an impact. I knew losing weight with PCOS was hard but I didn't realize just how much more easeful it is when you aren't dealing with a neuroendocrine disorder. I've lost 8 lbs total so far. I've made nutritional changes and increased exercise but I haven't had to grind myself into the ground to lose weight like in the past. Frankly, I wasn't prepared for the mind f*ck that would occur. But I'm grateful and giving myself time to unpack years of disappointment with myself for not being able to lose weight and maintain it on my own.
I am starting it tomorrow and so scared. But it’s time to change and fix this. My best friend was found passed away in her apartment a month ago and I don’t want to end up like that. I want to get healthy and fix this. Thank you so much for this video. So incredibly helpful ❤
Thank you for such a thorough review! Yeah, losing the baby weight is sooo difficult, and there’s real pressure on yourself to feel good again 😮💨 congrats on advocating for yourself 👍
Karli you are beautiful inside and outside! Thank you for sharing. I have 140 pounds to lose. Took my first Wegovy shot yesterday. I definitely need to add protein shakes as an option for breakfast.
My endocrinologist is the one who suggested Wegovy. I have a thyroid condition AND PCOS so that why she wanted me to try it. I’m overweight and losing weight is SO hard because my body works against me. I am looking forward to trying it come May at my next appointment. When she first got it approved for me, insurance was only paying a small part and I couldn’t afford the monthly portion on my HSA, but now the tide has turned and it is affordable. I want to try it. I’ve research many ways of taking the shot to avoid the stomach nausea. Thanks for your video. It’s great to hear someone so passionate about it. Please thank your husband for his service. I’m a military mom. Our son served during Operation Iraqi Freedom as a US Marine. He’s been out since 2004 but it’s always great to meet another military family. 🇺🇸
@yvasquez2449 that's the same thing my doctor told me when I talked to her about it but I have been Weight Watchers or WW as it's known and after 3 months with no results you have an option to see if they can approve it for you and I didn't think they would but they did and I'm scared so I looked on RUclips to get some information and found this video and I'm going to go for it maybe should join WW and see if they will approve it you see a Dr online good luck ❤
@@LilliesPad05 keep us posted. I am in the process of doing more research on it. I go back to my endo in May and I’m going to ask her about that and see if she will try again. I’ve had the doctor for years. I highly doubt she would recommend something for me that would harm me, but I will do the research, nonetheless. Good luck to you. The goodness that now it’s affordable. When she first wanted me to take it, it would cost me $1300/mo. I couldn’t afford that, but now my insurance company will pay a much larger portion and now it’s only $50/months. I can handle that.
You are gorgeous 😍 Thank you for this. I just started Wegovy last night. I feel okay. But I was nauseous and dizzy all day before taking my first shot… due to traveling. I feel like I’m still in an airplane with lots of turbulence. lol maybe not the best time to start it but I waited 2 weeks for the pre-auth to go through. Sheesh. I weighed myself last night and it’s scary.. 188 ! I cannot believe it got this bad 😫 I hope this helps change things/habits/lifestyle. Need to focus on something and it’s going to be myself. I’m a new empty nester 😭 my son is leaving for basic training in 12 days and I do not know what to do with myself. Besides work, I need something to focus on so I’m not depressed.
Thank you!! You helped me understand why I was so tired. I just have been sleeping so much I worried something else was wrong. Btw, I’m on mounjaro & had no nausea but did kind of feel like it was a mild case of flu being so wiped out. It’s totally worth it & anyone taking any of these should know they are getting many health benefits. Thanks for your post. Good luck to your husband and thanks for your service. ❤
Thank you so much for this! I am young and TERRIFIED of any medication, I have PCOS, Insulin Resistance, and NASH. My doctor has recommended I go on semaglutide to help me lose weight to help with everything else. I am so so scared to start but I have never been able to lose weight so, wish me luck! Your video has helped me feel a bit better about it!!!
I'm on day 2, first week, low-key nausea... thanks for sharing your story, it's helping to stick with it! I'm getting it through a Plastic surgeon in Chicago.
took my first dose of ozempic last saturday and nothing has happened, so i did feel like it wasn't working. i'm glad i'm not the only one who went through this particular situation taking this medication! really hoping to see if it will work for me, fingers crossed! thank you so much for sharing your story, it's definitely given me some hope that i can get my life together finally!
Im with you with the bad habits.. mine was alcohol.. i don't crave alcohol like I use to.. im on week 4 . yes i did too feel tired week 3 & 4.. i still work out only 4 days a week.. lifting more.. down 7 lbs .. goal is 15 lbs TOPS! ,, I May do 1 more round.. but hopefully that's it .. 165 lbs to 150 /lbs is my goal .. and I am only 5'1 ... Thank you for sharing your Video,,,,😍
I just started im a week in, and alcohol is my problem. I'm hoping to cut it down to out. I'm not spending money for it not to work. I dont plan to starve myself but to eat clean only when hungry aswell .Good luck to u!
Same here! My craving for wine is way less. If I am drinking I am ok having 1-2 glasses instead of the hole bottle like usual. I also lost weight. So far I love my ozempic for this
Same here, I'm on week one for Wegovy 0.25, and I decided to take it predominantly to knock alcohol out of my life. I'm more than happy to lose 10 lbs, too, so I'm anticipating I will be on this for a month or two, but I'm happy to go longer if needed. So far my first shot made the alcohol cravings dissappear pretty quickly (so amazing!) and I ate less, but only up to day 4, i guess it wears off a bit, thats when I started to feel ravenous and the alcohol cravings also came back. Not full-blown, thank god, but it gave me a bit of anxiety as I was getting used to not having these thoughts anymore! 😅 I'm looking forward to my next shot! I'm so glad I'm doing this and so pleased at everyone's success thus far! ❤
Thank you for doing this video. I have seen too many bad ones. I just did my first .5 of Wegovy after a month of .25. My doctor gave me the advice that I need to do resistance training or fat would turn into flab. Just a positive video. Your point about getting in good habits is part of the program. Eating right and exercise go along with it.
I’m so glad I found you tonight. As soon as you mentioned soda, I was like “ I was meant to find this gal”. I’m a soda drinker - coke daily! I am a mom of 2! I am starting semaglutide and I’m so excited. But I am scared of the needle. Anyway. Thank you for sharing your story!
Get off all soda even diet. This is poison. My dad was a heavy soda drinker years diet coke and diet dr pepper. He never went the Dr not once and his intestine was rotten and died after his surgery. He only had a 50% of living. To this day I now that was a big part of his death sodas stop immediately. He was metabolic syndrome there are 5 of these in are body ask Dr what they are 1 of them is triglycerides blood pressure and insulin resistance Hdl lol Good luck
Karli, thank you so much for sharing your story. I am a tall girl too at 5' 10". I started my weight loss at 220 lbs. I lost 40 lbs over a year and a half, but I hit the wall at 180 lbs in March 2024. Being in a constant calorie deficit mindset was starting to take a toll on my mental health. I had heard about Ozempic, but thought it was another fad diet I couldn't afford and didn't qualify for. I had also heard about terrible side effects and thought it was out of the question. I also have a history with the HCG diet and could never keep the weight off, so I decided to take the slow and steady route. As I was settling into the thought that I had done so much crash dieting, my body might not be able to handle losing anymore, someone close to me had broken their weight stall and shared their semaglutide story with me. I was intrigued...and there began my deep dive. I came across your channel and many others. I wanted to hear all sides. I decided to give it a try, but I went in knowing this might not work, I could have terrible side effects and waste money, or this could help me break my stall. It was my last resort. If it didn't work, I would accept where I was, and put my weight loss mindset away. Well...I broke my stall within the first week with semaglutide. I had very minimal side effects. I got down to 145 lbs, which I never thought was possible. It took me 7 months to lose the additional 35 lbs. The ability to not have to track what I eat and maintain healthy habits I built before my semaglutide journey has given me the mental freedom I've never experienced before. Thank you again for sharing your journey, it really helped me and gave me hope with my own!
I'm on Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) and it's the best thing I could have ever done. I'm on week one and I can feel the weight melting off but most importantly, I have zero cravings. I have to remind myself to eat now. Insane!
Hi Karli! I'm happy to hear about your amazing results with this. I am on my 6th week. I started off at 5 ml for the first month and now I am on 10ml, the last 2 weeks. I have lost about 7 lbs. I'm feeling like this is just not working for me. Maybe it just hasn't entered my system enough yet. I feel like all I see these days are how people have lost so much weight on this medication by the time they have reached their 6th week.
Thank you for sharing your experience and insight. I have tried it for three months and have made no progress. You have inspired me to try again and consider your key points. You look great!
Thank you for your video! I'm taking my first shot in about 5 minutes and I've been so nervous! But watching your video actually kinda put me at ease. I'm so glad it worked for you and your happy on it! Please wish me luck!
Thanks for sharing. I started 9 weeks ago and am down 11.6 lbs and happy with it. I have a lot more to lose but no rush! I live not being hungry all the time. I had a little sickness like you mention-flu like, for a couple days starting the day after my first injection but it’s been fine since. A couple weeks ago we doubled my amount at that time and I was pretty icky for a few days, decreased the next injection, and decided to increase slower. I never once have thrown up so that good! Increasing very slow, am now at 80 units but it is working! Besides drastically decreasing my appetite it has also changed my tastebuds some, there are some things that I used to really like that don’t have much flavors to me now which may be a good thing. Lol
I lost 70 points naturally a year ago. Just went onto Semaglutide last week to help lose the rest. I am male 5’10” and weigh 210. Part of me didn’t want to because I don’t have that much. To lose. I would love to hit 180 maybe 175. But I plateaued and I’m hopeful. My side effects have been very minimal at the moment but we will see as I hit .5 next week.
I just started last week and like you my first week I’ve barely felt any different other than feeling fuller sooner and on much less. I also have PCOs and hope this makes it easier to manage it
I have lost 106lbs in 11 months.
What an amazing testimony!!! Thanks for sharing! ♥️♥️
Swimming is amazing ,it’s the only thing my lifetime obese self loved to do lol. But fyi, it doesn’t build muscle
Did you start with .25? @@KarliSine
I started at .25, isn't that low? @@KarliSine
Were you able to stop taking it when you were composing weight?
My wife has lost 100lbs in 18 months on Mounjaro and Wegovy. She has also become a gym rat and has transformed her body and her life! I am overjoyed with how this has changed her life! It definitely works and nothing else has ever worked long term!
Loooooove this
Awww that’s amazing! ❤️
What about you - have you become a gym rat and transformed your body?
Thank you
Wow, that is so cool. This is super inspiring. I'm just starting my journey.
My doctor said it best, he said it calms the noise in my head about food. I had gastric sleeve and that was good for a few years, but the weight was creeping back and the wegovy was my saving grace.
I had vsg also almost 2 years ago. How much weight did you gain and how long did it take you to lose with wegovy
Omg, I have a gastric sleeve too! I'm glad I'm not the only one 😭
@@AmberMc03hey! How are you doing now?
Congrats!!!
Is your shot compounding with added B vitamins ?
Did you do wegovy?
Congratulations ❤❤❤❤❤ any tips for the zero side affects

How do you afford the medication?

Same. I started on January 2 of this year and I am down 28 lbs. It has been life changing.
@@mselinger1866 that’s amazing 🥲 congrats! I hope it helps you as much as it helped me! I’ve started hiking again, and working out again. It has been amazing. I hope you’re doing well also!
Does taking b12 help with tiredness?
How do you afford or obtain the medication if your insurance doesn’t cover it?
Where do you get your Semaglutide? I'm looking for a reputable company to go through
I have lost 58 pounds on semaglutide in 9&1/2 months… it’s been slow and steady for me.

I am glad you mentioned no one is talking about it. I have searched endlessly and yours is one of the first I found.
Search Dr. Tyna Moore, Ozempic. She has really great advice when going on these meds.
Were you less nauseated on the majarao?
Minimal nausea with mJ and no sulfur burps which were horrible with semeglutide!
I am with you. This is SO worth it. Don't know if I’ll ever come off of it. It is so expensive, but I’ll work more ,so I can pay for it because it has done so much good for me. Keep up your good work!!!

Oh yay!!! Love these comments so much!!! So excited for you!
That sounds like a miracle right there. Congratulations.

You look amazing and you’re easy to listen to, very relatable. Can you share more of how you eat daily?
Yay so happy! I know changing the habits can be so hard

Love this!! Yes it’s changed me in a lot of ways! I bet your brain will do great. Haha 😆 ❤️
How is it going ?🥹
Good for you!! I'm starting this week and I'm excited. Thank you for sharing your story. God luck with the muscle! Subscribed!
Thank you! You too! So excited for you!
So how is it going so far?
@@beachlife4704 it’s going great. I’m on week six and I’ve lost 14 pounds. It’s a whole adjustment to eating and your relationship to food. But it feels like it’s working!
@@KarliSine sorry I just saw this. Thank you so much. I’m just starting week six and it’s going really well. I’ve lost 14 pounds so far. I have a goal of 45 to 50 pounds. So I’m on my way! It’s definitely changing my whole relationship relationship with food. Very interesting.
@@MaxRyan777 Have you had any side effects?
I’m on 6 weeks and hope the nausea goes away soon! So happy for you!!!
Any side effects thus far?
@@deborahduley33 so far I’ve had some nausea the day of and day after my injection, and constipation. But I’ve noticed that if I keep my protein intake around 100g per day I’ve had less nausea. And the nurse at the med spa where I get my semaglutide told me to take fiber gummies and that has helped tremendously with the constipation issue!
A little over 2 months in and am down 23 lbs.
That’s awesome!! 💃 are you taking a particular gummy brand? Starting my first injection this evening so I’m a little nervous
Thank you so much for the advice I just started 2 weeks ago and I have lost 12 lbs so far. But I have been doing Keto and intermittent fasting. I just wanted to see if it would make a difference. And after reading others comments I’m keeping it up. Thanks
What dosage are you on? Just started today and I'm hoping I have good progress early on so l dont get discouraged…
@@Beccababyxo my MD started me on only 10 units which is very low , I’m using a 100 unit/1 ML insulin syringe. I’m starting my third week, and he said when I start my 2nd month he would increase. But I think what really helped me I am doing Keto and I’m not a sweet eater anyway. Coke soda is my worse vice I have to deal with lol
How are things going for you now that you’re 4 months out? I am starting this week and planning to continue being on a keto diet.
Do you still get nausea on keto with the semaglutide
I started today. Took my first shot after dinner. I am dealing with menopausal weight gain. Hoping this helps with the weight without to many side effects ❤️🙏🏼
Hi friend! Menopause woman here! How is your progress? :)
Same issue for me. Any updates?
This video is really helpful. I also have PCOS and just took my first dose of Wegovy last night. Since nothing can truly heal PCOS I know it's going to be life long. For me, it's the relief that the semaglutide can help level the "health playing field" for people with metabolic disorders.
Yes!!!! It will most likely be life long for me and I’m totally fine with that!
Low carb diets cure PCOS. The carbs drive the blood sugar up, the high blood sugar makes the ovaries make more testosterone and the cycle continues.
Can you update us on your weight loss since it's been a month? I also have PCOS
PCOS here too, which makes losing weight SO hard.
I am starting it tomorrow and so scared. But it’s time to change and fix this. My best friend was found passed away in her apartment a month ago and I don’t want to end up like that. I want to get healthy and fix this. Thank you so much for this video. So incredibly helpful ❤
I'm starting in 2days 🎉I'm also excited
Wow! You’ve got this!! Do it for her!
@@KarliSine thank you! ❣️

How has it been after 7 months?
Thank you for such a thorough review! Yeah, losing the baby weight is sooo difficult, and there’s real pressure on yourself to feel good again 😮💨 congrats on advocating for yourself 👍
Karli you are beautiful inside and outside! Thank you for sharing. I have 140 pounds to lose. Took my first Wegovy shot yesterday. I definitely need to add protein shakes as an option for breakfast.
How many pounds have you lost so far
Update?
So ??
I was told people with thyroid problems shouldnt take it…I don’t have any but the doctor asked me
@yvasquez2449 that's the same thing my doctor told me when I talked to her about it but I have been Weight Watchers or WW as it's known and after 3 months with no results you have an option to see if they can approve it for you and I didn't think they would but they did and I'm scared so I looked on RUclips to get some information and found this video and I'm going to go for it maybe should join WW and see if they will approve it you see a Dr online good luck ❤
Thank you! This was so informative!
I just started three days ago. So much of your story resonates with me. Thanks so much!
I'm starting this medication in two days I'm so excited thank you for this video
Good luck!!
I was so tired too. My Doc said I wasn’t eating enough and that did help
I'm on day 2, first week, low-key nausea... thanks for sharing your story, it's helping to stick with it! I'm getting it through a Plastic surgeon in Chicago.
Great Video! I am half way through and want to say already I have learned a lot! I am on low dose tirzepatide and am enjoying the dose at this moment.
Are you staying on the low dose and still losing ? I am thinking that will happen to me also. Because I am sensitive to medications.
@karenrussell2075 I have used low dose since January and still on the starter vile I bought January 1st. It does not expire when it says it does.
took my first dose of ozempic last saturday and nothing has happened, so i did feel like it wasn't working. i'm glad i'm not the only one who went through this particular situation taking this medication! really hoping to see if it will work for me, fingers crossed! thank you so much for sharing your story, it's definitely given me some hope that i can get my life together finally!
Thank you for this video! I am having a consultation with a dr. soon to talk about semaglutide and kinda nervous. Appreciate your honesty. :)
Don’t be nervous!!! It’s so exciting!
Your history sounds exactly like mine! Thank you for sharing your experience
How amazing!!!! Congrats!
I'm looking forward to my next shot!
He was metabolic syndrome there are 5 of these in are body ask Dr what they are 1 of them is triglycerides blood pressure and insulin resistance Hdl lol
Good luck
I am just starting in a week! Thank you for this
You're so welcome!
I am just starting the same process!.. thank you for sharing your journey and the experiences you went through! So helpful :)
I'm on Mounjaro (Tirzepatide) and it's the best thing I could have ever done. I'm on week one and I can feel the weight melting off but most importantly, I have zero cravings. I have to remind myself to eat now. Insane!
Hello, are you ordering online? If so from who and how much. If you do not mind about sharing.
Thank you for sharing your journey. ❤
Thank you for the pep talk!!
on my 4th week now of Semaglutide from Swisschems. Can't believe I lost 18 lbs even without exercising, just doing intermittent fasting
Yay! Congrats!

How is it going have you been sick
Good luck, I hope you're having amazingly good results!!! ❤
Thank you so much for your vids! I JUST gave myself my 3rd shot I’m so excited to be on this journey and be healthier for my kiddo ❤
Lol
Yes same for me, I feel like it’s dulled my tastebuds a bit… so I lost the temptation to eat too much.
Yes that happened to me too!!! Soda was yucky while I was taking it!!
Most beautiful and cozy set up ! ❤
I started today. Can't wait to see if it works. Thanks so much for this video
