This looks like it could be reaaaally fun as a co-op game à-la Overcooked as well! Imagine starting with given responsibilities based on bomb color and slowly giving into the chaos as you are forced to throw the bombs at your mates to save some time!
Already played the demo, damn they absolutely cooked, this game has very much unexplored potential to be fast paced and somewhat rithmic or at least coordinates, having routes to take and drop the bombs in satisfactory and perfect sincronized combos while moving rapidly was such a blast for me to experience, and i want more of ir. While you may have already covered the visual aspects of this game, I'll take the chance to cover the sound aspects, from level music, menu themes and sound effects are an absolute delight, ABSOLUTE BANGER the rooftoo theme tho, it managed to sneak into my playlist, the dude who did this COOKED. I just couldn't stop thinking about how good that song is. Nice review overall!
The amount of moves the main character does reminds me of how Mario moves in Mario vs. Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong '94. Sure enough, on their Kickstarter, they list Donkey Kong '94 as one of their inspirations. Really good twist on that type of game!

Looks interesting. But seems to fall into a graphical design trap that so many Indie games do nowadays. Too many things "competing for the eyes" at any one time. The backgrounds definitely need even less saturation and the HUD part needs a massive reduction in garish colors. A masterful graphical design isn't one that tries to stand out at all costs, but one that knows where to exercise restraint. It's telling that I felt great eye relief when you at some point in the video (05:56) show footage of the recent Mario Vs Donkey Kong. I hope they improve this aspect.
@@cuenta007God forbid you aren't completely positive over an Indie game, there can be design faults in a game that seem minor to most casual viewers, but do hold merit. Pizza tower has a similar artstyle but got its backgrounds right by avoiding using to many colours, that way the foreground can stand out more and allow the player to read what's happening alot more clearly

the gameplay loop is the bob-omb sorting minigame built into donkey kong '94 stages. buster plays like a fusion of cuphead and anton. the visuals evoke pizza tower and smiling friends, and the soundtrack's a nice blend of hideki naganuma's funk on jet set radio and the new jack swing flavor of several tracks on pizza tower and antonblast. explosively fun, stylish and wacky arcade title that wears its inspiration on its sleeve. love it, can't wait to see more. 💣

The aesthetics and humor remind me of Pizza Tower, Antonbladt and also Smiling Friends (for the big drawings)

I didn't have any issues identifying relevant objects. Maybe they'll add accessibility options to make the background more muted
