Later, pals!
First i thought Oh another Dev talking about his new game calling it a tutorial. But this man is a treasure chest full of knowledge he shares with us for free. Pure Gold.
I really appreciate the breakdown, I think it's important to understand the basics. I started making a game and I know nothing. What could go wrong 😬
I'm in the same boat.🤣🤣😂🤣 Absolutely everything can go wrong, it's just how we deal with it
How is the game going?
Honestly, your work is incredible!
I would suggest making videos more frequently!
I will try to support the channel!
I start on this a few days ago and greatly interest in it for at least making my own game character. This greatly helps me. Thank you.
I just gotten into pixel art, and have been searching for channels that specialize in this. I'm so glad I found your channel!
I have calculated +13 hours of video with all your tutorials, gonna watch em' all between the next 2 weeks
Thank you so much for this Pixel Art class! Cant wait to start my journey.
These honestly some of the best videos for beginners on the web! Great amount of information (not too long, not too short) and it is really easy to understand!
How did it work out for you?
coming from the c64 and amiga era, i am very happy to see pixel games having a comeback... starting to mess around with pro motion ng.. stuff looks so easy if u and your fellow pixel gurus explain it..but u explain stuff so good that i am confident to keep going and giving my ideas a pixel world to live in ;) keep up the great work !!!!
Good to see you again! I like a lot your editing and the new intro!
Holy cow this is informative. Your teaching style is so intuitive! :D Thank you!
So happy I found your channel! 🙂 Loving all your videos already! Huge fan of your work!!! 😆
Thank you so much for putting in the time and effort into giving us such a well stated explanation of this topic. I am so thankful that you go into depth with your explanation on the topic, as it makes it so simple and easy to follow for those who are looking to learn and develop their skills. 👏
I just want to say that I am a massive fan of your channel!!! I am currently trying to improve my pixel art and starting to work with code and your tutorials and explanations are extremely useful! I would love to get to the level that you are at now - being able to make games and characters and even music! I look up to you a lot and I can't wait to see what you have planned for 2022!!!
You are a bloody genius that makes genius things sound simple. Amazing.
Just read through the forum post and it was SO informative
The software is Aseprite. For those who wanna know.
Thank you!
Yessss! I have been patiently waiting for more tutorials 😏
I decided to start learning pixelart and I’m really loving your content and how you teach🌸. Usually when I search for “what is pixelart” I came across the same time of videos explaining things we kind of know by now. But your description about bits and how they work and combining colors thingy have me!!!!😱✨✨✨✨⭐️ thank you for creating your channel and sharing your knowledge with us 😭🌷🌈
Woa no one explained bits to me before. This is awesome, thanks for this!
Awesome video! I really liked the in depth discussion
The bit explanation was really clear! Well done sir!
Your tutorials help so much!
Thank you for your content, I'm a brazilian man with some different hobbies and this kind of explanation I didn't found even in paid courses in udemy in my mother language.
Wow, man. I've checked your game and seen the screenshot. It reminds me of Summon Night from GBA.
Keep up the great content Adam!
Very high quality videos, I really love your series !
thank you so much. It's absolutely master class. ❤️
Very interesting and good explanation of the basics! Thanks a lot!
I must say that your videos are very well done!
What is the software you are using to draw and add the photos too? Also what is the set up you use for doing your pixel art.
If I remember pong used 1bit but was released on a 4bit system. Also 32bit was pixel art... Sonic the Hedgehog on Sega Genesis. And FFT characters were flat sprites. It was the level that was ray traced and isometric.
Your channel is just amazing!!!
That was very useful. Thanks.
Hey Adam! :) What hardware did you use..for drawing pixelart ? Because with the mouse..its really hard sometimes. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Prof.Adam
im impressed by his reading speed
Seriously? How old are you
Thank you.
For those wondering about the app or “whiteboard” he uses, there are plenty of apps like this one. Sketchpad is one of them. In most of these apps, you can copy and paste images, just like he did.
That was very informative. Thanks!
FIRE EMBLEM IN THE THUMBNAIL
whats the program adam uses wen he he just writing this down or scetching something ?
Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem, we could be best friends lol.
nice video lesson
What software was used to explain the video at the 1 minute mark?
I watched in 360p, to get the better feeling
Thanks!
I am ready to learn and you seen like your the best to teach me on how to code and draw with pixel
Nice video, thank you
You're mixing up the idea of bits. 8-bit and 16-bits refer to the CPUs of the machines and had nothing to do with the graphic capabilities. For example, the Commodore Amiga had a 32-bit processor with 12-bit graphics (4-bits per channel) and could only display 32 colours at a time without tricks. My 8-bit machine on my desk has 9-bit graphics. However, that said, the 16-bit machines tended to have more advanced graphics systems so could usually display more colour combinations.
There was a similar evolution of colour depth alongside CPU formatting that was also measured in bits. Here in the video I admit I make an ambiguous jump in the edit from talking about colour depth to the system bit depth. There is a common misnomer where "16-bit graphics" does colloquially refer to the SNES graphical fidelity even though the bits in the name refer to the system bit depth, not the colour depth.
I could have done better here to explain the relationship, definitely. This is one of my oldest videos, which was recorded live on stream, I try to be a bit more precise in my current production which is done offline for that purpose.
Adam, curious, what tablet do you use?
You seem to look forward, not down. So, it can't be a tablet with a screen, right?
I "Searched" your videos for "Tablet", but found nothing. Thanks
I use a Wacom Intuos Pro for my videos :) no screen, just a medium size tablet.
@@AdamCYounis Thanks for answering. This will help me.
Hey mate, what about this software you use to take notes, and see the references?
