Absolutly right. I have 62000 vr and,sometimes easy win vs 99999 and sometimes lose to 10000. Practice much time attak is pretty usefull. But sometimes you will mariokarted no matter how good you are.

I have a 43% win rate but I'm only at 20k with almost 300 hours. Want to get to max asap!
That's not horrible, people have gotten a lot better recently so you'll have to just keep grinding
Now that I've hit max, I may try out worldwides if that's how the matchmaking is. I tended to avoid it bc I loved using switch online's voice chat, and hated how bad item lag/player lag was in wws.
It's fun once in awhile but I still prefer Regionals since you meet nicer folks

This is very true I was in a lobby with my friends and we have all around at least 10k and this 2k guy joined and started destroying us

I've seen someone say that the higher your VR is, the more frequently you get into 200cc matches online. Is that true? 150cc is way too slow.
Yes that's true
I'm the type of player who typically enjoys worldwides and regionals at about the same level. (Except for the full jpn lobbies. The lag is SO BAD with jpn players. Fun despite the lag)

I actually Disagree with this I was lucky enough to read the Wii U manual of 8 to hear from nintendo themselves from the plumber's mouth: The Higher the VR the More Skilled you are
that's how they write it but not to say it's completely wrong that also means they play a lot, it's both just be careful not all players are honest about their VR because you see VR 6, 7, or above and more often than not it's just smurfers ruining the fun and shouldn't be encouraged (shame on you for being in a room with low teirs but I'll give you the B.O.D on that one)😮☝

Can anyone tell me how someone with 4-5 times my vr gets more vr than me after getting second when I get first? I dont understand the vr system
It's weird but I believe it goes by hours played and cumulative VR available to attain in the lobby itself

@@ItsAllGoodMan696oh it can also contribute to the amount of VR you have as well I.E: have 8-9k in rooms 5k or lower? then expect to only get 9 pts or even lower you have 10k while in a 20k room? 30 pts old higher get last and lose up to at least about 40 sometime score earnings break at times but if you pick the right rooms it shouldn't happen too often. hope this helps as well👋
