Hello i am french i love america and its history i would love to see one day in my life such a superb reconstitution thank you again for such images cordially Frederic
hello no you don't have the right not to love your country your country and a big country with a history just like France without you would have been German so France owes you everything so no you don't have the right to say that you don't like your country liked long live america and france may god save you you are a great country with values must keep this in mind
No reenactments are allowed on the actual battlefield, so this certainly wasn't there. It was a few miles away on the same farm where they filmed the 1993 Gettysburg film.
@@sirfirfry6761 Yep...I'm not thrilled about the registration costs at many of the events either.. I understand it helps defray the expenses of insurance, porta pots, etc., and the leftover money usually goes to a charity or good cause of some kind. But not always....
"LIKED" and enjoyed the video - really nice to see both Union and Confederate sides of the action - both the close ups of the men and the larger view of the battle field. See you on the march or in the field. - LT - 1st Minn Sharpshooters
The order on both sides is too good. You shouldn't look like you're on parade on the middle of combat. I say this as a reenactor. Your lines should be muddled, withdrawal and advances should break it up, and you should be taking far more casualties in that volume of fire. Even when they broke and withdrew there was no sense of urgency. You're being shot at, not taking a stroll down the street. Act like it, damnit. Can you say 'Farby'? *sigh* I know people want to show off their drill and discipline, but that should be saved for when you're on the way to the battle. If you really need to, do some drilling before the events in camp. But when you're fighting, there needs to be a sense of immediate danger, there.
And Little Round Top wasn't an open field parade fight. The Feds were static, the Rebs fighting up a steep slope. I tried climbing the actual site in my uniform (with smooth soled Brogans) and had an awful time getting up there.
What did i just watch so many mistakes 1.mistake why where they worrying about formation do much they are in a BATTLE NOT A PARADE 2.mistake how are u getting shot at so many times but you are not dying???? 3.mistake there reactions are very slow cmon guys make this more realistic

Well, if you are French, than you must have access to some good reenactments at home. I hope you get to see an American reenactment, too.

History Of Napoleon well leave we don't need you in our great land, MAGA, GO TRUMP GO.
Flying Hellfish Trump is a bad president. Also,no such thing as “real Americans”.

where is the bayonet charge?!
Us Mainers love us some 20th Maine and Joshua Chamberlain.
where's my boy Warren at? Hero of Little Round Top
I think this has been mislabled. All I saw were a bunch of re-enactors firing blanks at each other. It didn't matter where they were

This is complete BS! The reanactors have to pay to entertain people that Pay $30+ to watch .

I wish I can be in one of those 😭 my ancestors were part in this War but I’m in Mitchell SD
There are reenacting units and events all over the country, including South Dakota! Look for a unit in your area!
This is not a reenactment of Round Top.
Wow. Great event and video, but far too many closeups on pretty awful impressions in this video.

when it came to the blanks used I doubt that the sense of urgency would be used. though idk how to pull it off like that?
