@@JMRRebuilders I was just looking at random videos of people restoring truck frames and an early video of your obs build popped up. I watched every single episode of the build and my hats off to you guys.
Thanks brother. I appreciate the kind words. We try to do our best to have a good laugh as well as work. Thanks for the support and please consider subscribing if you are not already.
Why did you replace the cab mounts? I'm planning on doing theses same project. I have 1994 F150.I want to put the suspension of a crown vic. I was wondering if these cab mounts would be necessary for my project
Hey thanks for the comment. We tool the front suspension cradle out of the crown vic episode 5. Then we took and welded in a kit from Team321 that allows us to bolt the cv front cradle into our truck frame. Hope this helps. Keep getting after it.
Hey brother thanks for the comment. If you haven't been following we have done a cv swap and are doing the coyote 6r80 swap as well. The truck had an aftermarket 3 in body lift on it so we removed it.
The original bed should just sit down right on the frame. There were thin like 1/8" plastic isolaters between the cross rails and the frame on my truck. Look into super duty bed bolts and the clip nuts. Originally the obs fords came with just carraige bolts and nuts coming from the top down.
@@JMRRebuilders the super duty bed bolts are nice because the nuts clip onto the frame, then the bolts are usually a torx bit and can be done from the top. Last i knew LMC sells a kit for them. Nice work, keep it up!
@@JMRRebuilders in the video you removed what looked like a full gas tank from your truck. But if you have to explain the joke, it not as funny!-). Great vids.

The original motor and trans from this truck is still running strong in my truck. You guys are awesome!
Heck yeah brother. Glad you were able to put her to use. Let us know if you need a rear end. We will have that ready soon
What gear ratio
Not sure I believe low 3s. I'll have to check. We will be removing it completely intact with all the suspension mounting points.
If it's 3.55 of 3.73 let me know
@@johncollis3201 I believe it is lower than that. 3.3 something. I believe.

Hey Joel. Our cab had a "body lift" that we needed to remove, because we are going for the lowered look. Thanks for the comment!
So is this a truck and a crown Victoria frame welded together? Did you you have to widen the suspension?
Hey thanks for the comment. We tool the front suspension cradle out of the crown vic episode 5. Then we took and welded in a kit from Team321 that allows us to bolt the cv front cradle into our truck frame. Hope this helps. Keep getting after it.
Nice Grinder !!!
