I love your videos! I have a plethora of Blue Jays that come for peanuts. I just love it. One in particular comes to a perch outside my window and looks to see if I am here. Her name is Pretty Girl. She brought her mate prior to nesting.. it was as if she was showing him a good place to get peanuts.. She has even visited with her baby last year. I have a picture of mother and baby as if she was showing her off..."look what I have with me today!"

Without your visits and knowledge, we wouldn't know their stories. Thanks for all your videos, I am playing and listening, trying to memorize the calls and differences to Id the birds in my neck of the woods. It is such a pleasure to pair certain birds with the calls I've heard since childhood. It brings home the universal range of bird types that I have known; to know they are in Canada as well as my area around Medina Ohio. Thanks again, we enjoy and learn so much! Happy birding!

Lesley, your videos have been so soothing for me. I had to said goodbye to my dear Miss Kitty this week. We laid her to rest in the backyard, and I have been spending more time outside to feel the stillness and peace. So many lovely birdsongs, especially cardinals and chickadees in our area. Miss Kitty loved hunting birds in her youth, but as she got older she enjoyed just roaming her territory and seeing the birds and squirrels playing outside. I think I might continue to spend some time in our backyard to get to know our birds more. Thank you. ❤️

Lesley, I live in Asheville, NC. I absolutely love spending the better half of my days off from work watching your videos and being overwhelmed with cuteness!!! OMG you are an amazing photo/videographer and so good to the little birbs. I have a bird feeder close to my front porch and have a VARIETY of cute birds that visit. I have, Bluejays, yellow rumped warbler, house finches, downy woodpeckers, Eastern Bluebirds, black capped chickadee, big red-headed woodpeckers, tufted titmice, Carolina Wren, morning doves, nuthatches, other sparrows and hummingbirds in the summer! It's an amazing display I could watch all day! When I'm not chasing away a couple squirrels from the bird feeder 😂. I dream of feeding the birds by hand one day! I understand it takes time to develop their trust and I would have to be close to the feeder often... Perhaps one of these days! Thank you so so very much for all you do! I hear the birds but rarely see them. I am so sorry to hear about the possible demise of your favorite birds. This is the law of nature, as harsh as it is. Good luck with Hatch and Hermosa, Lesley. Hope they will return 🤲 I've been looking for my toad, but haven't seen him quite yet. The birds are congregating indeed!

Back in London, Ontario before I moved to the west coast near Vancouver I often had encounters with Blue Jays. Their favorites was when I brought out the shelled unsalted peanuts. This was in.the autumn! They would gather a couple of nuts from.tje bird feeder stuff one in their beak and then grab a second nut. They would fly off and then.come back for more. When.the supply ran out, they would cry for more. Then.I would refill. They had me well ytainef!😇
