I also love this movie; I bought to ensure I can watch when I want. Its beautiful in many different ways. The characters & actors portraying them are wonderful!! Great Film!! A beautiful film with some dose of reality.
ı have a question for all you, guys. there is something i do not understand; turks entered in anatolia at 1071 and they reign in this land until today. why turks did not asimilate armenians for 850 years? ı think, you have to ask yourself this question.

Everyone is commenting on how its bad or whatever to turn war stories into love ones. All we hear about is war and all the bad stuff that happen, i think its really good that this movie is focusing closer on the more romantic parts, we don't see that often. I personally think its great that this movie took on a different approach.

this was such a good movie so well worth watching it highlighted every one of the actors even the Unknown actress so well the guy from Game of Thrones in this was superb and I truly believe this is one of Ben kinsley's best performances

I don't get why people are downvoting this movie. It has more dynamic change in scenery and a plot unlike Finest Hours which consists of 2 boat scenes and yet people are raving over it on Netflix. If it reminds you of BF1, congratulations, you get the "I play video games award."

I did some digging around and I found out that this movie is the Turks retaliation for The Promise. this movie trailer didn't once mention the Armenian genocide, and it might not.
